Edit: lowering to a 1 starThey did NOT “promptly” repair anything. I had to ask multiple times to get a firm answer. The screen door repair was cheap and will have to be re-done. Once again as in my review below, they were not added to our guard gate list because we needed to know when they were here since no one from the company would tell us when they were here to move cars, etc.I have no idea who Josh is, my supposed project manager, but I never have spoken with him.As for the discount, the repairs were for things YOUR crew broke. There were 0 upgrades, it was a new roof, the same material every single other company uses. The only discount was $30 for a tire patch from a nail YOUR crew did not pick up, along with the dozens of others and a razor blade we picked up.As for the painting, that was agreed upon with Russell, because as was the case with Travis throughout, it was never communicated with us that painting wasn’t part of the job.Lastly, I said the roof seems fine, but again, no different than one of the many other companies we should have and could have gone with at a better price.The roof seems fine and Russell was very helpful, but those are the only good things I have to say about Magnum.They came highly recommended by a family member and had great reviews, so we paid a little more than other quotes we got because I believe you get what you pay for. That couldn’t be further from the truth with magnum.Travis was our salesperson and project manager and couldn’t have been more difficult to work with. We knew the material was delayed, however, I had to reach out multiple times to get a timeline of when work would begin. Finally Travis let me know of when they would be here for tear off and installation, what he failed to mention was any of the other times the crew or someone would be showing up to our house. Thankfully we have a gate so they informed us so we could move cars and get out of their way. The crew was incredibly careless and messy, I picked up multiple nails every single time they were here, many in our driveway or in plain sight. We actually had a nail get stuck in a friend’s tire, they reimbursed it, but I had to reach out to Travis multiple times. The crew also broke multiple sprinklers and a screen door, which weren’t addressed until Russell stepped in to help. All Travis said about the screen door was “can you see damage,” even though I told him the door no longer closes. They did fix everything, but again, only because Russell helped. Once it came time for inspection, I was given a day and nothing else, no one came to my door or let me know they were coming. It was only after I texted Travis days later that he said someone already came, but still no proof to me that anyone was here. Russell also pointed out that whoever did the inspection did no final clean up. Finally, after things were all finished up, rather than send me an invoice and discuss the project I got multiple texts from Travis just asking me how I wanted to pay so he can get this closed out. I responded to him that I was working with Russell and his manager to discuss all of my issues and then would get them paid. He then got defensive with me and told me that I was “making a big deal out of nothing and that they still need to get paid” insinuating that my issues meant nothing and I was just trying to get out of paying (they were paid in full right after I spoke with his manager).I felt some sort of discount or break was reasonable after the various issues we faced - the quote does say “includes a dedicated project manager” which we did not have. But all I got was Travis telling me “I don’t deserve any discounts because the work was good” and some “I’m sorry” responses from his manager.I will absolutely not use them again or make the mistake my family member made in recommending them.They aren’t any different than the 20-30 other roofing companies in the area and are more expensive. Incredibly frustrating we could have saved money and gotten the exact same work and same (or better) service elsewhere.

I met up with Travis. He was nice and helpful and he looked over my roof. He was thorough and found the problems with my roof. He helped me with the cycle with my insurance and set everything up with the roofing crew. He was friendly and helpful and got the job done. I got a beautiful new professionally done roof . It is even helping with my electric bill bibg lower.

When you live in FL, and your roof is 10+ years old, you may experience leaks or small repairs. Magnum Roofing has been great to work with, they are honest and very professional from assessment to repair. We’ve had great experiences with Matt, and will reach out to Magnum if/when we need a full replacement in the future. Give Magnum a call, ask for Matt!

Our experience with Magnum Roofing and Restoration was definitely 5 star. We were very satisfied with all areas from shopping for our new roof to final completion once we started working with Magnum. Russell was our point person throughout the entire process- he was always available and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. I cannot say enough about the Magnum team. I live in Chicago and was helping my aunt (who lives in FL) coordinate a roofing inspection. Matt Frey, licensed roofer, came out to inspect the roof within 2 days. He delivered a quality inspection and gave reasonable recommendations for minor fixes. When the hurricane was over we were so worried about our roof and the possibility of more damage that could happen with future weather conditions.Magnum was there for us and tarped our roof so no further damage could happen. They replaced my roof damaged by Hurricane Ian and I have no complaints about the work. The problem that I have is that the salesman who we signed a contract with told us we would be charged for the roof what the insurance company gave us on the claim. The insurance company balked at their price and we got left paying the extremely high price for our new roof. The insurance company warned us that the price they were charging was outrageous and that we should shop around but we didn’t listen stupidly. We have been speaking to our neighbors and have found that we spent between $10,000 and $12,000 more than any of them for our new roof. Like I said there work was fine but I just recommend that you shop and get more quotes before contacting with Magnum.Service: Roof installation

Travis helped us tremendously in getting the best deal for material and cost for a new roof, even if we are out of town, he is really dependable! I’d give Jeremy Duerksen more than 5 stars if that was an option. He went above and beyond helping me with the replacement of my roof after hurricane Ian. Prior to him I had another roofing company come out and let’s just say they were not professional. It was hard to get roofing companies that were fair and honest. It was by chance that I met Jeremy, but right from the beginning he was courteous and professional. He did everything including working directly with my insurance company. He was on site every step and came back twice to check and make sure it met my expectations. If you ever need a roofing company this is the one for you. Edward was awesome and came out to my home with very short notice. I had a leak due to the wind/rainstorm on 4/11 called Edward on Monday and he was out on Tuesday. He managed to fit me in and was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to find the leak and reassured me if I had any issues he would be back out as many times as it took. His company will definitely be called for any and all my roof issues and I’ll be sure to refer him to anyone needing a roofer. Thanks again Edward
