My family used recently EHS Construction Services that provided excellent service supporting the home inspection report and an individual analysis with estimation of costs and potential services for the purchased home. Gerald was a great service and expert in home services and repairs. Worked well and very friendly.

Do not under any circumstances ever hire EHS Construction Services out of Mulberry, Florida. We have never had so many problems with a company before. They promise you everything that you want and then deliver nothing but headaches and frustration. The company has horrible communication and time management skills, and they don’t care at all about the quality of work that they perform. They didn’t just give us a horrible paint job that had to be completely repainted (the entire house and shed both), but they also damaged our property. The exterior of our house and shed are stucco, they were originally pale yellow, and we had them painted a light gray. We could still see the original yellow color sporadically all over the house and shed because EHS only did one coat and would not put on a second coat. Due to their lazy don’t care attitude about the job we have paint all over our pavers, large overhead garage door, our soffits, and our brand new (four months old) pool cage and screen. They used a paint sprayer on part of our house and taped NOTHING off and used zero drop cloths. We are still trying to figure out how to get exterior paint off our soffits and pavers. We are going to have to pay to have part of our pool screens replaced because of the paint drips and runs they left on our screens. ALL of this could have been avoided if they had properly taped off the area and had used drop cloths. I have nothing positive to say about our experience with EHS. We have been dealing with EHS since April, it is now eight months later, and the job still isn’t finished. At this point unfortunately, we are going to have to finish this job ourselves. Hopefully, we can save someone else from going through all the headaches that we had to deal with.UPDATE: Gerald called us immediately after the Better Business Bureau contacted him about our complaint with them. Gerald had never been informed about all of the times that we contacted his office and complained about the problems that we were having with the painters assigned to work on our home. Gerald was at our home immediately walking around our entire property and discussing our concerns with the lack of quality and care that we had received from the other members of his crew.Within two days he had a young man at our house totally focused on cleaning up and resolving every issue that we had addresssed with Gerald. This young man worked on our home part-time (which was 100% appropriate because of the weather) until we were completely satisfied with the paint job on our home. EHS allowed us to use the same company that installed our pool cage to replace the sections of screen that had paint on them. We wanted to be sure that the new screen was a complete match to the damaged screen that was being replaced. Gerald has done an excellent job of staying in touch with us while resolving our complaint. We are waiting on final payment from EHS (totally on us, we just had the screen replaced because the company that we wanted to use was extremely busy), but we are 100% satisfied with the way that Gerald has handled our complaint!#ehsconstruction #expertroofers

Please run away from this company.My sister and I hired them to do a septic at her house and mine. Gerald, manager/Owner, asked each of us for a 50% deposit and so we did.After 2 weeks he left 8 truckloads of dirt and on the fourth week a plumber arrived who said he had not arrived earlier because he was on vacation. Gerald told us that the plumber had not arrived because he was sick. From then on every day was a lie.They went to work 2 days less than 2 hours each day and disappeared.An inspector from the Health Department arrived at the property and upon checking the land and the work they had started, EVERYTHING was wrong. They gave us the list of the problem we hadThe land was not suitable and the work was a disaster.My husband called Gerald to ask him to return the deposit because he had already hurt us and he didn't know how to do the job.Gerald arrived at the property to pick up a small excavator that he had left behind.He promised to fix everything, but we no longer believed a single word of him. He is a LIAR, UNPROFESSIONAL.I want our money back because we already did the work with another company that had to fix the mess that EHS did plus the septic work from scratch.The new company did the septics for both houses in one week.

They are unfair and dishonest and they are quick to give you work but are not good in paying you for all the work you do they pay you what they want when ever they want and sometimes not all all , if you want to work for free that's a place to go .. worst place ever

Never hire this company. They were subcontractors working on a rehab of our bathroom. The workers never spoke to us about the times they would work each day or what days they would work. This may have been because they said they spoke very little English. They never cleaned the work location at the end of the day. There was little or no coordination between Gerald (the EHS project mgr) & the project mgr from our construction company. We were told not to talk to the workers only talk to Gerald. He was very insulting when we raised questions about work progress. He said we should be happy because they "fit us in" their tight schedule. The kicker is the workers "borrowed" a dust pan & 40 foot extension cord & looked at us blankly when we asked where they went. Again. they did not understand our English. Project went from a four day job to one that took three weeks.Service: Refurbishment

We have used EHS Construction Services to do various jobs at our different homes here in Florida for the past ten years and the most recent one was installing slab in our backyard for our new shed - all jobs were completed professionally and on time. Bad experience!! While doing the roof they burn the grass all over the patio the entry plants were smashed and never even care about replacing them . On the contract stated to pressure wash the house prior to paint and they didn’t do it . He agrees to paint the house with Behr paint and he was using PPG paint instead and to make it even worse they paint half of the house of with a color that was not the one approved for neither us or the HOA . It took 3 months to do the roof and paint the house when he says he will give priority to this house and that once the roof was done it will take around a week for paint to start which it never happened I that time frame . When we start calling the company to see why the job was half way the secretary really rude and when we contact him directly it was worst as he keep cutting our conversation because other clients were calling him like if we were not clients anymore knowing that the job was half way . We comply with all the specifications in the contract specially with the full amount of payment of the roof work when it pass the inspection nothing was for free or discounted ! Overall I will not recommend this company to anyone !!
