I’m very satisfied with my new roof by SEC Renovations and Repairs.The customer service and communication leading up to the installation, including delivery of the materials and dumpster, was prompt and courteous. Work crew was amazing, showing up on time and went right to work.Upon removal of old shingles, we found the old sheeting was much in need of replacing. The supervisor was though and fair, informing me about the increased costs and time to complete the job right. Moreover, although he originally estimated the job may take an additional day to complete—thanks to expediting the ordering/delivery of additional materials, along with the amazing teamwork of the OUTSTANDING work crew, the whole roof was completed in one day by 5pm! That also included the crew doing many passes around the perimeter of the house ensuring all the nails and waste materials were cleaned up.I selected SEC due to seeing their work re-roofing a friend’s home (who was satisfied with her roof too)…I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends & family. It feels good to be able to highly recommend a locally owned business here in Navarre.

If you are in need of a reputable company to replace your roof, I can recommend SEC Renovations and Repair without any hesitation. I called for an estimate for a complete roof replacement, provided my address and had a detailed proposal in a couple of days. The proposal was the best of the two I obtained. The whole process was easy and I had a new roof within two weeks of accepting proposal. Communication was great, they notified my at least two days in advance of delivering material and starting the job. Emails and phone calls were answered same day. Paul was a great on-site supervisor and made sure we were informed and satisfied with all the work. A big plus is SEC is an authorized My Safe Florida Home contractor and which will help you with a wind mitigation report and and mysafeflorida home grant application. I needed a roof repair for an older rental propery on the Florida Panhandle. The original roof was still in place and approximately 20 years old, but was showing signs of damage and severe wear. With hurricane season entering the worst part of the year, getting the roof repaired was critical to avoid serious damage to the home.I was referred to SEC by a neighbor who has been a trusty handyman for us in the past and I contacted them immediately. The owner responded almost immediately and some repairmen showed up later that week to provide an estimate. The estimate was very thorough and confirmed what I expected - a full roof replacement was necessary.Given the building boom going on in our area, my next big concern was how long it would take for a crew to do the work. I was surprised when the office manager called and said it could be completed within 7-10 days!The work was started early in the morning on the day SEC said it would, and was fully completed by the end of day. The new roof looks excellent, and SEC hauled away all debris and provided the final billing the next day.Although this was not my primary residence and is an average size home, I would not hesitate to contact or recommend SEC for any size home! In a day and time when builders of all kinds are overbooked and being careful who to select for a job is extremely important, I am very happy I was lucky enough to connect with SEC!Services: Roof inspection, Roof installation

SEC roofing is excellent to work with. Office support was great, talked me through getting out of a "free" roofing inspection scam with APEX Roofing, that obligated me to have them represent me with my insurance company. Then APEX over charge me 100% for the roof installation from what SEC quoted. SEC worked with my solar company schedule to remove the existing solar panels and get the work done quickly and have the solar panels reinstalled with minimum downtime. The install them, led by Junior and Paul did a great job. They got the job done in 12 hours, on a very hot 98 degree day. Junior and Paul did a custom metal flashing over my existing screen room to correct a leak issue when the sun room was built. Clean up was exceptional after the work was completed. All in all I would highly recommend SEC Renovations and Repairs.Service: Roof installation

Steve and his team did a great job installing my new roof. I got 4 quotes from different companies around town and SEC had the best price by far. The crew worked fast and was able to complete the install in 1 1/2 days. They also were careful and laid down protection so there would be minimal damage to my plants and yard. We chose to get 3 bids after our insurance company said we had to get a roof. No being in the area for very long we wanted to make sure we chose wisely. I personally called each company and received bids. SEC was not the cheapest but they were the most friendly, professional and willing to answer all my questions. It was a couple of months before we actually called to set a date for the roof. The entire owner group showed up to go over roof color choice and to measure our home.We enjoyed getting to know them. Once the work started we had the supervisor here nearly the entire time and within 2 days we had our roof. They were very professional and cleaned up well. I would just say to make sure if you have delicate plants cover with a hard type cover, when singles come off it can damage some plants next to your home.Now this is the best recommendation I can give. 5 days after our roof was put on hurricane Sally hit...we could see during the storm a few of our shingles came off, we had no water damage. I emailed and left voice message the next day with winds still whipping. I knew we would not be priority due to many others with such severe damage. But to our surprise the next day they showed up evaluated our roof and the next day repairs made. I highly recommend this company.Great owners and definitely great service.Service: Roof installation

A terrific roofing company ! I can not say enough. I was under pressure from my insurance company, who had threatened to cancel my homeowner's policy during hurricane season. I had only 20 days to find a roofer and re-roof my home. Michelle at SEC reassured me they could fit me in quickly and get my home roofed in time, to keep me from being cancelled. They came in a week or so later, with a large crew and did a fantastic job. Steve made sure my driveway pavers were protected and his crew would clean up thoroughly each evening. They use one of the three top roofing products picks that Consumer Report suggests. My roof looks terrific and it was completed a week before hurricane Sally arrived. My roof held up great during this hurricane. I sit on the sound facing East and my roof took a beating from all the high winds. I like the weblink that was sent to select shingles and how it was interactive. I asked a lot of questions and they were always helpful and responsive. A very professional operation--I will use them again and highly recommend their services. We needed a new roof due to damage incurred from Hurricane Sally. SEC came in with the lowest estimate and they had great reviews so we went with them. That was a mistake. Crew showed up and tore old roof off including ridge caps over center of house and garage. When the new roof was put on they only put a ridge cap over the center of the house. They also put two holes in the soffit. My husband watched as they applied tar to one area of the new roof. My husband placed a call to the owner to point out problems. The next day the same crew was back and got in my husband's face with an attitude. Eventually the problems were corrected by the end of the second day except for one of the holes in the soffit because they didn't have the materials to fix it. Fast forward six months and we had a lot of rain over a two day period. Walk out the back door to the patio and there's a big puddle. After pulling the vinyl away to look up into the roof, a huge gush of water came flooding out and the water was coming in through a hole in the roof that had delaminated the OSB board. All the wood in that area was saturated. The owner again was contacted and sent two guys out immediately. They applied several tubes of silicone on our new roof. Still not satisfied with this temporary fix, we again called the owner who came over himself later that day and applied more silicone. One band-aid on top of the other. Oh, we still have the one hole in the soffit. It has been quite a frustrating ordeal. We had to call another roofing company to come do a roofing repair job.Service: Roof installation

I just want to let you know how pleased we are with the efficiency, thoroughness and thoughtfulness of your crew. When Sally made the roofing job necessary, I had envisioned a nightmare of difficulties. My landscape lighting is one of my pet projects and I had decided that it would be a casualty of the roofing job. I must say that, to my astonishment, the lights and wiring are still in place and functioning. On the occasion of one of them being accidentally knocked out of place, I saw your cleanup crew carefully place it back into position.
