Sharpe Roofing was very responsive and professional after we had a a tree fall on our home. We had an inspection done and our roof was at the end of its life. Sharpe was quick to schedule a date for the roof replacement and brought in a crew of guys on that day. We also had to have a portion of our gutters replaced and I wish I went with them originally 8 years ago when I had my gutters done! I couldn't be happier with the quality product and installation that we received on our March 2023 replacement. A lot of the roofing estimates were overpriced as a result of the tight competitive roofing market and high shingle prices. Jackson's meticulous and fair bid, along with the high-tech personal review of our roof condition sealed the deal for us. The installation team was in & out in a day and 1/2 on our large roof, and the final product looks great! My son's father in law recommended Sharpe to me. We wanted to redo our roof before a big solar install. The old barrel tile roof was ugly and had problems with leaks since we bought the home in 2019. Sharpe was recommended by my GC who was doing a garage addition on the house, and I am grateful for their guidance.I was impressed with the professionalism throughout the process. The project itself was complicated because of the garage being added as well as the solar panels. Sharpe worked with the solar company to get "feet' attached before tiles went up and coordinated with the garage GC to rule the roof when it was ready.My new roof is gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier with my experience with Sharpe Roofing.(Note: house is still under construction, so the walls/gutters are in rough shape)

This is a lengthy review, but I wanted it to be comprehensive because purchasing a roof is a big deal and a big expense. Plus, we’ve all heard the horror stories of Florida contractors and I wanted to share none of those stories apply to Sharpe Roofing.Sales Process – how can you tell if the salesperson is blowing smoke? When they pressure you and when they don’t fully answer your questions. Mike was very knowledgeable, personable, low key, professional, and patient with all our questions. He was armed with all the pros and cons of installation methods and products to help us make the best choice for our financial and long-term needs. He was quick to respond to inquiries and even provided addresses where we could see a particular style/color roof in person versus from a brochure. And to top it off he followed up during the installation.Operations – Josh was our project manager and stayed in contact with us. He visited the site to assess progress and he was patient with all my questions. The crew chief and on-site crew were friendly and professional and left the job site clean at the end of each day. Our last roof contractor used subs and Sharpe uses employees. A big difference in the quality and accountability of the work. It is not uncommon for contractors to not pay or short pay their subs. And depending on the contract the sub can get a lien on your house for the balance, and you may not realize it until you go to sell.Administrative/Scheduling – Abbey was great to work with. Kept us informed with the schedule and made the process from scheduling to payment easy and seamless.I believe Sharper Roofing really cares about their work, their reputation, and in delivering a quality product and experience. We had a new roof in one day! It looks really beautiful. One thing I would tell anyone getting a roof is to make sure of the color flashing you get. I mistakenly said white and it should have been a color to match the brown roof. There were a couple of minor things that I noticed around the house after it was done, hence the 4 stars, but no problem at all with the roof itself.

I needed to have my tile roof replaced (about 80 squares). I spoke to my friend and neighbor (call him Bill) who had recently selected Sharpe Roofing to do his tile roof. He had observed a third neighbor who had recently had Sharpe install their new roof. Bill had observed Sharpe installing this third neighbor's roof, and concluded that Sharpe had done a good job. Bill signed a contract with Sharpe.Bill's roof was loaded (tiles placed onto the roof ready for installation) but not yet installed when hurricane Ian came through. Sharpe's crew came and made sure the tiles were secure and would not blow off in the storm. The tiles all stayed on the roof during the storm.I spoke with more than one roof company before I selected Sharpe. I found Sharpe's sales rep very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. Sharpe's price was competitive. The office installation manager kept me informed of progress of the project, including estimated production date of the tile, date if shipment, and expected installation phases.The crew that removed the roof, and again the crew that installed the new roof were both very skillful. They worked very hard. The supervisor spoke to us about issues and steps with the work, and worked with us to be sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Everyone worked quickly. They had a large enough crew that they could do our large roof in about 3 or 4 days to take off the old roof, and about 3 days to install the new one. As you can imagine, the less disruption the better.I certainly recommend Sharpe Roofing. They did a great job for us. I own a 5,000 sq ft commercial building and being in commercial insurance we needed a reputable company that was fully insured. Not only did Sharp Roofing supply all insurance documentation needed they gave us the most competitive quote with more replacement boards and better cutting edge materials (West thank for explaining the differences). After the work was done there was no evidence that they were even on our property except for our new roof and the follow up on the work that was done. For the record: our re-roof was original installed incorrectly shorting us 10 years of lifespan (don’t make the same mistake we did). I was so nervous to get my roof done. I had put it off for years and finally had to have it done because my insurance was going to drop me. My roof was original from 1997 so it was 26 years old. I was so worried that I'd have a lot of rotten wood etc. and that the roofer would use that to jack up the final price. Was I surprised. Sharpe Roofing is so honest. They did not charge me extra for anything but the absolute minimum extra material. The crew found ways to do an excellent job and not waste material that would have cost me more. I was so impressed. And they were so respectful and professional. One day they were working and it started raining. I went out and they were leaving and soaked to the bone. I offered them some of my pool towels. The next day they returned them to me freshly washed. Very classy. This is a first-class operation. And they really cleaned up the nails. I was very worried about flat tires. It's been one pleasant surprise after another. And the office staff made my day each time I called. I wish there were more companies like this one, life would be so much better. We had to replace our original clay tile roof on our villa in June 2022. We called a few contractors who were slow to return calls or did not return them at all. However Sharpe was prompt and gave us a good price and also they were interested in doing the job! As we had a leak, they came out and fixed that first and rather quickly. We did have to wait for tiles (about 2-3 months) due to pandemic shortages. The best part was that we live in Connecticut and worked with them without being on site at all. The process was seamless and Abbey was more than helpful along the way as we were trying to co-schedule gutters/downspouts and painting of the villa. It all worked out and the roof looks great!
