This company handles all installs of kitchen cabinets and doors for Home Depot’s in Volusia County. I’ve been a Home Depot Customer since Home Depot started now in my 70’s find myself surprised that they have fooled me twice. Over three months to get my new kitchen installed and now living with some of the issues on that install. Do make note this is the second kitchen I purchased from Home Depot. The first went in over a 4 day period and was perfect ( different installer). Fortunately I refused to sign off on Burton’s install and Home Depot would not pay the company till I accepted. After three months believe me, you’re ready to sign off. Must say on that last day the owner and his best crew member showed up spent several hours and we signed off .Currently working with this same company on a sliding door project. Again trying to stay with Home Depot I find Burton handles the install. My wife convinced me she really wants the door at Home Depot and give them a second chance. Almost 6 months now and still working with this door project. Without all the boring details I will share this.1. The custom door arrived at Home Depot.2. Burton Construction called me and doorInstaller calls me states he and theCompany owner are sending the doorBack to the factory because it came inwith a flange.3. 3 weeks later my wife and I call homeDepot to check on the door and learnthat the door was there and had beenthere the whole time. I call BurtonConstruction who now tells me howbusy they are and it will be several weeksBecause they will have to pull men offa kitchen install to help.4. Several weeks later door is installed withdamaged glass, damaged wood workand will not slide properly and no lockwas available to secure the door.5. BIG MISTAKE, I liked and trusted theInstaller and signed off with his promiseRepresenting Burton Construction thatALL would be corrected. WRONG6. Fortunately the manufacture providedA new door and now we are still dealingWith this second install. The manager atNew Symra Beach has been cooperatingthough her employee informed me lastweek that that she could not help meany further and for me to work directlywith the vendorSo———here we are almost 6 months afterStarting this journey with Home Depot,whom I continue to believe in, without aCompleted project. Must admit wouldThings have gone differently if BurtonConstruction had just brought that firstDoor on down and did the install insteadof spinning me the lie that the door wasbeing sent back to the factory.Service: Remodeling
