I normally don't write reviews but I had such a good experience with Kennedy Roofing that I needed to write this one. I called Kennedy on the recommendation of my friend who has used them 2 times on 2 separate buildings and had super high praise for them.So I gave them a call and they did not disappoint. They gave me a good price. The girl I talked to the first time I think her name was Christina and she was so pleasant and patient with me and all my questions. They replaced my roof and were in and out before I knew it. Their employees were pleasant, and seemed to really know what they were doing. I am very happy. About 6 years ago, my sister had her roof replaced by Kennedy Roofing and she was really happy with the job that they did. Fast forward to last month and I needed my roof replaced and my sister said to call Kennedy and no one else. I did and I am very happy with my new roof. I can now see why my sister was so happy and referred them so strongly. Now I am happy customer too!

I needed my roof replaced and didn't know where to go. I happened to be at the store talking to a friend and someone overheard us talking about it and she told me to call Kennedy Roofing. I figured that if someone overhead me talking and took their time out to tell me that I might as well give their referral a call.Well I'm so glad that I did. Kennedy Roofing did a great job repairing my roof. I thought I was going to have to replace the whole thing and the representative from Kennedy came out and told me they could fix it. I dont know anything about a roof so he could have told me anything but they were extremely honest and that meant the world to me. More businesses should be as honest as Kennedy. Thank you so much. Very professional no pressure great quality roof Roberts crew arrived at 7:00AM worked steadily had to replace some plywood and had a beautiful new roof installed everything cleaned up magnet search for nails and finished by 4:00PM unbelievable. I recommend Kennedy Construction for a roof replacement. They were courteous, and the workers seemed to be highly skilled and efficient. The process went pretty smoothly and didn't disrupt my life at all. They all worked very hard and the roof looks beautiful. The office was responsive and worked well with me, despite all the issues with delays in materials delivery and scheduling, which I believe was due to the supply chain and labor problems, and other things outside their control. I had some issues with clean-up, but in general, I am very satisfied with my beautiful new roof.Service: Roof installation

I will highly recommend Kennedy Construction for a roof replacement. We live in PA and I used references and Internet reviews to narrow down to 6 contractors. I settled with Kennedy because they were 10% cheaper than the closest competitor and the sales person seemed less like a car salesman than the competitor. They are an Owens Corning Platinum installer, and I opted for the Platinum warranty from OC.We got the deed from the attorney on November 27th. The building permit was on the door on the 28th. Robert, the PM, came over on 29th and placed the dumpster. The crew showed up on 30th early morning and had the shingles off by 10.I watched them replace every bit of suspect wood that they found. By end of day the roof was ready for "dry in" inspection.I watched that crew work and they were excellent. They didn't cut corners and took pride in their work.Unfortunately the county was backed up and the dry-in inspection couldn't be done until the 5th of December.On the 5th the crew showed up and had to wait till mid day for the inspection. They completed the work the same day.They had the job completed in 2 days, without cutting corners.During the whole process from my first call, Brooke from the home office was my point of contact and she owned the project all the way to having the wind mitigation inspection done.I am a professional who does not suffer laziness or incompetence lightly and takes great pleasure in working with good professionals.Kennedy Construction was a pleasure to work with.Subho

Kennedy Construction was hired by me David Calvano and they are a stand up family ran biz. That I personally trust in them all roofing ( 3 years ago) and repair work (After Ian hit), I don't normally give A 5 star rating to anybody. But I had no idea they would repair my within my warranty on a new roof. Even after a Cat 4 Major hurricane at no cost to me. I had Kennedy out to replace a flat roof on mile and Eye in 2016 and they came out and did it right away. It leaked four times over the years and it was always my fault. I’m too old to get on the roof. Finally six years later, it leaked again and I had to have the roof replaced. Their first excuse was that they had it installer out that they fired. Don’t use this company.

We are very happy with the service we recieved from Kennedy Rooding. They replaced our roof ar a fraction of the cost compared to the other quotes we received and did a great job.When we look at our new roof it makes our house look so new and streamed lined.We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a roof repaired or replaced.

Good afternoon Christina,We realize everyone is busy, but when issues like ours go unanswered with no follow up we kind of wonder what's going on! I'm retired local LEO, & when things go like they are I question everyone's motives!So, let me start by saying we are not looking for anything FREE (we aren't those kind of people!). That said, we understand that the flashing costs weren't included in the estimate, if there's a problem found "supervisors" will advise & complete an estimate (we get that also) as the contract states.Our main question here is why didn't your "qualified" roofers & or supervisors bring the flashing age & condition issues to us for us to decide and APPROVE replacement of the flashing around, after all it would have been paid for by our home owners insurance company...Hurricane Ian damage)? Now it's going to cost much more than if it were replaced while putting on a NEW (but now leaky roof).......how embarrassing! Your salesman who sold us the job & I were talking about classic vehicles, he advised of the vehicles the owner has (which I would like to see if possible, I have a pretty nice 1965 Corvair Monza 2 Dr.) .& about the metal/aluminum fabricators that are employed with the company. Knowing that, we put the trust in your company to do the job we NEEDED done!I hope I don't have to go & speak with the Charlotte DeSoto Builders Association about the flawed process in replacement of our roof, write a negative review on your website & Facebook page, etc. This could be rectified with positive communication!UPDATE: As of today (November 7, 2023), no follow up from the owner of Kennedy Roofing as promised by Christina about the chimney flashing & soft/spongy roof decking issues found by us & a private Home Inspection. Apparently there is no customer service after the sale/installation. We will follow up by requesting a reinspection by Charlotte County Building Department, inquire how much further the Charlotte DeSoto Builders Association can assist us, maybe a builders license inquiry & complaint to the licensing board, etc.I would suggest all potential customers of Kennedy Roofing to look elsewhere for a thorough leak proof roof installation! If you had them replace your roof already, have a private Roof Inspection to ensure that your roof decking isn't soft/spongy feeling under your feet (we were advised by a Kennedy employee/supervisor that the decking is fine, just moving as it was potentially miss nailed between the joists?). We now DON'T TRUST anything Kennedy Roofing tells us.Kennedy Roofing could AVOID any & all of this potential negative business issue by communicating (owner of the company & us) with us & not hiding behind what Christina tells us. Mr. Kennedy, we would really appreciate your contact & your company's involvement in correcting our roofing issues (after all the insurance will pay as this was Hurricane Ian damage, just get the work corrected) we WILL change our review once contact is made with a plan to correct the issues is made!Service: Roof installation

they not worth a penny i advice any body thinking to install a new roof to stay a way from this company i installed a new roof in 2020 and now i have leaks in 3 different places ,i called them few times of course they keep ignoring the calls and finally they let me talk to very rude guy name eddy and he said we cannot guarantee any thing because of hurricanes ,so what is the warranty means for 20 years against any leaks.i am giving this issue to an attorney to deal with them.pure scam companyService: Roof installation

The whole experience was exceptional. First they came when they said they would. What a nice surprise. 2nd, the job was completed 2 days a head of time, unbelievable service. 3rd, the crew never stopped working. On the final day they stayed till almost dark just to make sure we didn’t have to put up with another day of nail pounding. Nice treat. Lastly, the crew boss, Jose.
