I needed my roof replaced and Joel made everything easy from navigating me through the insurance proceedings to guiding me with my decision for materials which led to a beautiful roof. The roofing crew was fast and efficient along with being kind and respectful to me and my family. Overall fast and friendly service and very easy to get ahold of. Being a northern Virginian and having no idea who to choose, I first checked Lewis Roofing's Better Business Bureau rating, which was excellent. The experience has been very stress-free and pleasant.Joel and his team at Lewis Roofing are first-rate and first-class. A very positive experience, which included an in- person consultation, another meeting to discuss more details, prompt answers via text messaging, and overall fantastic service. Joel's team delivered, and the job was done a few days before the schedule. They worked very hard and quickly with a large team. What was once a very sorry and sad looking roof was transformed into a great addition to our new future retirement home, thanks to Joel and his team.I'd like to add that Joel also recommended a fantastic tree trimming service to us.We are also having gutters installed soon from Lewis Roofing.

Joel was an absolute subject matter expert. He definitely made the entire process seamless after Hurricane Ian and knew exactly how to deal with the insurance companies because of his previous job working as an insurance adjuster. They replaced all of the flashing and took photos of all of the rotten wood. He’s now done quite a few houses up and down our block and there’s a reason why!

For me, the thought and nonetheless the process to get a reroof was stressful at first. I had several leaks in my flat, metal patio roof where it meets the eaves of the house. I had a friend try and seal it for me but it didn't work at all. I called a few different places around town to try and get a quote on what it would cost to have it fixed properly and Lewis Roofing was the only place that returned my call.They did an OUTSTANDING job, I got up on a ladder and took a look at what they'd done and I was actually pretty impressed. I had to wait to write this review because it's been weeks since we've had any rain and I wanted to be 100% sure that there weren't any leaks; I'm happy to report that my patio stays dry even in a heavy downpour.Lewis Roofing sent out a guy named Joel Higgenbothem and I would recommend him highly. He was courtesy, punctual, and forthright. He told me that I had a 3 year guarantee and if any leaks sprang up in that time to give him a call and he would take care of it.Lewis Roofing was great.

Joel with Lewis Roofing responded to my message about a leaking sunroom in rapid time. He came out, inspected my sunroom roof and immediately identified it as needing sealant. He told me exactly what to purchase and returned about a week later to apply the sealant—free of charge! He was friendly, amazingly helpful, and efficient.Bonus—we discovered that Lewis Roofing did the roof of my main house (sunroom is a different area) last year prior to my home purchase! I hired Lewis roofing because a friend told me they helped them out in a similar situation to mine where the insurance only paid for a repair on my roof that was done back in Ivan. I met with Jasper, he inspected my roof and confirmed that a repair was not a good idea on such an old roof. He communicated with my insurance company and sent them the information they needed and they paid for everything! I just got my roof put on a couple weeks ago and I love it!!! I met Chad at a Subway Restaurant. He gave me his card. I held on to it and after receiving about 7 roof estimates I reached out to Chad. I was hesitant at first because the company hadn't been in business very long compared to the others I contacted first. I told Chad that I was getting discouraged by the process because the quotes I was receiving from roofing companies seemed very high for my small house. He explained to me how companies came up with their rates and that it was based on the size and slope of your roof. He was very transparent with me. I advised him of my budget and I gave him the measurements of the roof that my insurance gave me. He came out, looked at my roof and gave me an even better price than he originally quoted me. It was fair and much better than the competition. I was unsure of what exact shingle color would look good on my roof and he picked the perfect color to go with my shutters.
