The Moore team came out and replaced a roof for us yesterday. While stripping the roof they noticed significant damage and their team immediately went to work at pulling up damaged wood and replacing everything. They did a beautiful and thorough job and they worked so hard to get it all done before the sun went down. They went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t be happier that we chose them and they made the whole process so easy. The price was fair and the service was excellent!! I will refer them to anyone I know that needs roofing.

Mike Moore is a professional in the best sense of the word. From his quick, personal response to my first online inquiry to the day he drove away upon completion of our renovation, he highly impressed my wife and me. He was very attentive and obviously knowledgeable concerning every renovation issue we wanted to address when he analyzed our situation. Following his on-site analysis, he promptly emailed us a formal proposal, which was clear, concise, and quite reasonable in price.There was one major issue that both Mike and I understood could not be fully assessed and, therefore, priced until well into the project. When we reached that point, my wife and I were again very impressed with Mike’s construction options and fair prices to address the situation.Mike’s work included removing and replacing our roof, replacing all siding on the entire house, installing gutters, replacing wall studs and insulation as needed, reworking window frames as needed, replacing and finishing Sheetrock and trim on the interior of some perimeter walls, and replacing steps and rails to a porch. We are thrilled with the quality of the work.At every point, Mike and Tyler kept us informed and responded to any questions quickly. They and the their crew members arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and always left the work site impressively neat. Contacted several local companies to see about replacing the roof and getting an estimate for windows! Some didn’t even respond!These guys responded, provided a estimate quickly and completed the work fast and did it right! You may be able to find someone to do your roof cheaper but I have neighbors who did that and their home flooded after a big rain from roof leaks!! If you are contemplating roof replacement, I cannot recommend this company more strongly. I worked with Tyler who guided me through the process. He was professional, patient, respectful and understanding. I did my research and I chose the best. Tyler was diligent in overseeing the job completed. He worked right along with the roofers to assure that all was done well. He came afterwards and made sure that everything had been completed and cleanup was done well. I am not sure what happened to my relatively new roof, but when a friend pointed out I had a small section of shingles missing I was very concerned. I had no idea how long my roof had been like that, nor could I tell any damage because I have a very tall, steep roof. Just so lucky for me, I saw Mike Moore’s ad on faceboook, along with comments speaking to his workmanship. I messaged immediately and with a quick response, Mike agreed to have someone come out. Within a matter of a week, the roof was checked on, quoted, and repaired. I cannot speak to the quality because I have a tall and steep roof, but I can speak 100% to say from the ground the roof looks spot on and I can’t even tell where the missing shingles were. Mike eased my mind quickly, and professionally. I plan to use him for a new roof on a rental later this year. I first met Mr. Moore in 2020 after hurricane Sally and he told me my roof would last a couple more years. It lasted a couple more years but what he didn't tell me is my roof was already in trouble in 2020. He had recommended a private adjuster but I didn't understand what they were and he didn't take the time to explain it to me. I wish he hadn't been in such a hurry.By the time 2022 rolled around I was in trouble. I contracted him to do the roof and he was very abrupt. Someone I knew had recommended him. What a mistake. While my roof was being done I saw large pieces of plywood being removed that had large holes in them. They had been rotting for a while. I had not budgeted for this many pieces of plywood and called Mike very upset. He said he came to my house and called he. I never got a call. He said he knocked on the door. No one ever knocked on the door.The people who did the roof didn't speak English so talking to them was useless. Even Mike couldn't speak to them and he had to use Google translate. Who hires people they can't speak to? I thought I was getting people he knew and worked with but it seemed like they were contracted by Mike. The woman I spoke to on the phone had a Maryland phone number. Mike did adjust the price some but I still paid more.Then I found out Mike had never got a building permit for my roof which was required to be posted at my home. I confronted about this because he should have put it on my house. I guess bringing in money is just more important than getting a building permit. I questioned his conduct and he cussed me via text.I don't recommend to any women.My response to Mike's. The fact remains there was no building permit on site for my roof. I called the building permit office and they told me no permit had been applied for the work on my roof. Building permits must be on your site before any construction takes place.
