If I say that Ken and his team went above and beyond to help my mama and I with a new roof, that would be an understatement. We are so pleased with the work that they did. When I called him, he dropped by that day and did everything that he could to get us in as soon as possible. His team was courteous and professional and worked extremely hard from the time that they arrived until the time that they left for two days. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day. Ken is a very honest and gracious man. I would gladly recommend Rain Proof Roofing to anyone who needed help. BEWARE!!! Gave these criminals $3000 down payment for soffit replacements that were blown away by Hurricane Ian. Ken kept giving excuses and then eventually stopped returning our phone calls. We are now taking legal action. How horrible and evil can you be to rip off Hurricane victims?

Ken Miller was recommended to us by a family member for a roof installation. Our roof has a steep pitch that has made other companies avoid us in the past but Ken and Luis didn't hesitate. They brought an extraordinary crew and had our roof on in two days, including new skylights. Their price was competitive, communication was great and they cleaned up so well you'd never known they were there. An all-around positive experience. I am very disappointed in this company. We paid 785 for a roof tune up. After all the rains we've had over the summer, we started to see black mold around our windows. Turns out that the roof was not sealed at the edges and the flashing was not properly secured and water was just pouring in soaking our drywall and rotted the roof in Several places. All of this could have been avoided if the job was done correctly. We called and had Ken come out to look. He said he "would have noticed that" however he contracted out the job. We tried to be more than reasonable, even offering to pay half of what he quoted us to repair, just thinking it's the nice, Christian thing to do. He contracted out to crumby workers, yes he should have checked their work, but we know that you can't catch em all and we're trying to be nice. Ken said he'd "think about it" and never returned our call. It's really a shame and should be a lesson to all contractors. We were going to replace the whole roof in a years time(going to air bnb and I was going to use the proceeds of the first year for that). If he would have owned up and acquiesced, I was going to give him that job and many others as we are investors and need a good roofing team. Unfortunately for him, this job will go to some one else and all future jobs. And since he has not deemed us worthy if a response, I need to let others know exactly what they are getting when hiring this company. We had no rotten wood and no mold before the tune up, but due to 2 major oversights, we now are just going to bite the bullet and get a new roof. But this company won't get the work and we are now 800 in the hole. Do your homework and hire upstanding and responsive workers. And co tractors, don't cut off your nose to spite your face. If you hire workers and they do a bad job, just fix it and not fight. You can miss out on a lot of revenue if you want to nickel and dime potential frequent customers. Beware! I paid over $3k months ago as a deposit for gutter and soffit replacement. Initially there were continual delays and "we'll get it done in the next two weeks" type answers. Now, Ken will not return my calls for close to a month. So, I have to go the route of FL department complaints and legal action to try to recover my money.

Ken was so helpful! My roof started leaking after a bad rain storm and he came out and looked at it the same day we called and it was all fixed the very next day! He was awesome! My roof no longer leaks! He was very professional and obviously very good at his job! We will be keeping his contact and will be sending anyone we know who is in need of roof repairs!
