We are extremely pleased with Daniel Almanza and his crew with RRCA Roofing in Pensacola. Daniel stopped by our house early this year and talked with my husband. He left his card and we called and made an appointment for an evaluation! He has taken care of everything, including talking with our insurance company after Hurricane Sally damaged our roof among other things on our property. His crew showed up early on the morning of July 22 and got started working diligently removing our old roofing, preparing it for the new upgraded roofing and new roof vents and completed it all by the next evening! They’re workmanship is high quality, even cleaning up afterwards! They covered everything with tarps including our swimming pool and patio! We had very little to do ourselves! The good:They came out quickly and were able to get the work done quickly (about two weeks from initial reaching out to job completion). Our garage ceiling had mold and it looks good now. Our roof needed a small repair and it looks good now.The not so good:- There was drywall debris left on our driveway as well as our yard- There are paint stains on the floor of the garage as well as on the new sidewalk border we had installed along the side of our house just a few days prior- There are paint stains on our front yard- One of the workers left one of their tools in our front yard- We had a new garage door opener installed just a couple weeks before this and after the crew left our house, the garage door could no longer be opened remotely. After having a technician come out to inspect, it was found that one of the wires above the ceiling was cut by the workers who removed and replaced the drywall. This ended up costing us an additional $139.90 to have this wire replaced. And because the garage door repairman is not able to go in the attic, we now have the wire stapled to the ceiling to run from the motor to the sensor, whereas before this it was hidden above the ceiling in the attic.- The crew left the job a mess and they left without notifying us that they were done and leaving, presumably because of the state in which they left everything.I am happy to have the repair done, but the way they left the job site and the damage they did is enough to where if I need similar work done again I will be sure to look elsewhere.Service: Roof repair

RRCA - horrible service. I have never been as disgusted with a business as with RRCA. We, like many people, had damage to our house and property due to Hurricane Sally. I spoke to a RRCA rep in October 2020 after having met with several other roofing companies that just didn't cut it. All we needed replaced were our roof and fence. We saw the scope that our insurance company agreed to pay and we were 100% okay with it. Our only requirement was to make sure RRCA agreed and understood that we did not want to come out of pocket for any additional fees over what the insurance company agreed to pay. We made sure of this because there was a non-recoverable amount listed. I personally spoke to several people, sometimes the same person, sometimes a different person, from front office personnel to CEOs. All confirmed we did not need to worry about coming out of pocket, all work and costs would be the amount the insurance company agreed to pay and no more. Over the next 7 months, representatives of RRCA lied to us, lied on us, tried to pit one spouse over the other that would give them what they wanted when they couldn't get it from the other, tried to cancel part of the contract from the deal so payment could be collected for partial work, told us what was agreed upon and discussed is not part of the contract, told us our agreements were null and void and are not part of the contract, told us conversions with their employees working on their behalf meant nothing, tried to convince us that we'll be better off "pocketing the money" and lied by telling other reps that we said we no longer wanted the work done. We NEVER received a call from anyone unless we called them first or unless RRCA was trying to collect money. When we did get a callback, everyone passed us off to the next person. According to the "higher up representative" from RRCA that came to our house the very last time, we have talked to a Main GM, a Regional GM, a Pensacola GM, a CFO of the corporate office, a production manager, a pastor of a church that works for them, a fence guy and several corporate office personnel who are taught to be aggressive but don't know much of anything; that those same people are idiots, don't know anything and that no one we've spoken to or who has contacted us from RRCA, whether CEO or CFO, held any authority to tell us anything let alone confirm that we wouldn't have to pay out of pocket and there was no way they would let that happen. Even him when he told us we wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. WOW! What a huge mistake!

My insurer indicated roof damage insufficient for replacement following Hurricane Sally. Project Managers Peter Engebretson and Willy Baires for RRCA, began a dialog with insurer that resulted in a major change. Complete new roof, less my deductible of course. Installation team was incredible as well. Arrived on time and very nearly completed the following in one day: removal of the old roof (two layers of shingles), removed and installed new decking in two areas and, installed ice and water shield underlayment over the entire roof, bringing the roof up to current code. Peter and the installers returned to my home very early the following day to finish minor matters on the roof and complete the clean up process.
