I had my roof done last summer, and it was overall a great experience. The crew took extra care and concern about my dogs, (super important to me) cleaned up as they went, communicated thoroughly about the entire process. Alicia, the sales rep took extra time to find a specific shingle color that I was looking for. The office made sure to inform me of material delivery, start dates and inspection schedules. 10 months later, my roof looks amazing, No more leaking after hurricane Ian. Highly recommend!!

DRI Restoration was a great company to work with. Even though their workload increased significantly from Hurricane Ian, they did a great job at keeping the process moving forward, communicating expectations, and keeping themselves accountable. Will was my main point of contact, he was very enthusiastic, always answered the phone or responded within a few hours. The feature of having access to pictures of the progress provided comfort in knowing the job was being done, especially since I was not living at the property during the restoration. What a great experience. They took care of everything and were extremely patient with my bank and insurance company to get paid. Fixed everything, Robyn in the office was always great to deal with and very prompt. William was just awesome in being there when I had questions and he addressed everything within a timely manner. I highly recommend Douglas Restoration for your roof replacement. It is a local business and I met personally with the owner of the company. As you all know, Floridians suffered major losses due to Hurricane Ian. Unfortunately, we did not recieve any help or assistance from the Florida Government or any federal entity. I was left as a victim to my mortgage company who held all the monetary help that i received after negotiating a deal with my insurance company. The mortgage company gave me Hell for the release of the funds until i did all repairs and paid all my contractors in Full out of my own pocket. I am not sure how they expected us to do our own repairs from our own savings prior to releasing any funds. At the end, Mr.Douglas assisted me to the best of his capabilities so that we were able to do all repairs and get the funds released. I am grateful for his compassion understanding and cooperation. I cannot highly recommend him enough. He definitely is a man with a great conscience. Thank you again for All you have done. God Bless and may you prosper more in your business.

After dealing with an unscrupulous Roofing Contractor after Hurricane Charley it has been our pleasure to work with Douglass Restoration and Roofing. Mr. Douglass and his entire staff stayed in contact with us and everyone did their Job at a Professional level. Our project manager J.P. was especially valuable.Our Home is a Mid Century Modern design and Mr. Douglass even helped with bringing the Entrance back to it's period correct original Look. We're very pleased with our new "up to Code" Roof and would recommend DRI Inc. to anyone requiring Roofing services.

I Would Not Recommend this place to do your roof at all!! The initial sales part was excellent, up to getting the work done. The work was slow to start and once started was at a snails pace! Half day start, full day next, week between, and only after our asking did they send someone out again. Metal sitting on our driveway, scratches on every sheet from the installers negligence. The owner (Steven) came out, once I made him aware of the scratches, contacted the manufacturer, and said he wanted them to come out and look before they continued. Two days later they are continuing to install. (Manufacturer was not made aware at this point) The owner said he wanted to get it all on and then have the manufacturer out to look. He sent the manufacturer pictures once installed and their response was it should have never been installed scratched. They should have been called and they would have replaced them. The manufacturer said the scratched panels all needed to be replaced. DRI then sent one of their own to look at the roof to see how many panels needed to be replaced, and their own inspector told me that it was the worse he had ever seen! He was going to recommend a total reroof! DRI, then had a meeting with the manufacturer at the residence to try to get the Manufacturer accept some responsibility, to only find out that it was 100% the installers fault. NOW DRI will not stand behind the workmanship, and will not replace the panels. They want to repaint them. 43,000 spent and the absolute worse looking metal roof I have seen! A completely different color Ridge Vent, and paint that they tried to cover up some of the scratches with. Horrible! Buyers Beware!Service: Roof repair for storm & wind damage

The ALL~TIME WORST company to hire.Hired for two reroofs! Over the course of 3 months, I learned more than I wanted to as to the inner workings of this detrimental, twisted, not as advertised company!The work they did is subpar and jeopardous to the quality and life of roofs.They cannot be trusted!The friction in the office and work staff is off the charts!They hired and fired and rehired 4 foremen over 1 month, and they have been heard and seen belittling and bullying their office staff and customers in front of office staff and customers!Among many missteps, they left rotten wood fascia on one of my roofs. I had to call them out on it while waiting for the inspection!They damaged my plaster ceilings due to unreasonable roughness, removing a rolled roof and dropping the heavy scrapers continuously.I called out Steven, who screamed like a whiny girl, calling me "mean to him" in a sissy, whiny voice because I request he come and address these matters.He ran away from our appointment without checking the roof, or even stepping in my property!They left bags of granules on my roof so much that they still rain down all round 3 yrs later! There are pounds of granules that have continually ended up in my gutters that broke from the load!They recked soffit and never came back to replace it, leaving a hole for critters to enter and damage the home!There's more where this came from, however, I'll spare you.Never have they accounted for any this.Run from the mess that is Douglass Restoration Inc, Douglass Roofing or other, theyve changed their name a few times...wonder why...!

Douglass Restoration has been a Godsend!  Their staff from Alisha, to Gina, to Steve, to Joe, and to everyone I didn't name ...  Everyone has been top notch, very personable and attentive.  I've never felt like anyone was trying to "get one over" on us. Getting us connected with the law firm without us knowing that was even an option was the beginning of our world turning around for the very best that God has for us. And other than a little pip of miscommunication early on with the scheduling of when workers would be at the house and the fascia board getting mortar dripped on it (which we hadn't gotten to see anyone to point it out, so ... lack of communication on our part), we've been nothing but impressed and very appreciative. The customer service and care have brought tears of joy, especially with the first heavy rain and no leaks!  I just remember sitting in the mortgage office with Steve and him impressing upon the agent to please expedite things so the project could get started promptly and before hurricane season was in full force. Thank God!!  I also recall Joe coming by daily to check on the delivery of some supplies that were delayed and keeping us in the loop throughout. And recently they re-sealed the back room roof, seeing how it can't be replaced unless the entire room is redone. And our man Joe did a great job of that!! God put it to the test with some steady heavy rain yesterday. We had some minor damage on the interior ceiling from the roof work done. In no time they came to restore everything to even a better condition than it was originally. Douglass Restoration has very knowledge associates assisting through each step of roof replacement. Alicia was very responsive and helpful working through insurance approval. Ashley and others in the office provided updates regarding scheduling and were very helpful detailing the steps to expect once on the schedule. The roofing crew did a fabulous job on installation. They were very careful to put tarps down to catch roof debris and were very thorough with cleanup. They walked the yard numerous times with the magnetic rake to pick up nails. They were not the most expensive by far and not the cheapest either. They were the most professional, polite and sincere about what they can and can’t offer. The work is excellent and we LOVE our new roof and the savings it brings that almost parallels the facelift that it has brought to our home. I used this company 2 years ago to install the roof and do some interior work. I had an awful experience to the point I wrote a scathing review and only then did the owner call me to "work" it out. He promised to have everything corrected. Now, two years later, my interior is still not done and I have been asking for a Certificate of Completion for a year and they don't seem to be able to supply me with a correct one. I did receive one 6 months ago but it has my address and someone else's name on it. I have requested it again but seeing how almost 2 years has gone by and they still haven't completed my interior...this may never come.DO NO USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE RUDE AND DO NOT FOLLOW UP AFTER THE SALE!!!

Where to start.... I called Douglas Restoration mid to late February about coming to take a look at my roof after I heard a big branch land on my roof in the middle of a windy night. In the beginning, they were extremely motivated and quick to respond. Cameron came out, promised me there was sufficient damage, "easy claim" and "we deal with your insurance company all the time." I filed a claim. There and on the spot in front of him. Because this company is there "every step of the way." After the phone call, Cameron informs me that when the insurance adjuster calls and makes an appt, that he 100% wanted to be there and make sure he pointed out everything needed to get my claim approved. Guess what? Cameron never came. He agreed to be there via text and just proceeded to never respond to me again. The adjuster told me there was not sufficient damage (big surprise), and that a test on the tiles or whatever could be done immediately to show otherwise. Called Cameron. Nothing. 2 weeks go by.... I call the number here on a google. "We are so sorry, this is not okay, I will contact the supervisor of the area and they will deal with you directly." Another 4 weeks later.... nothing from anyone. Today, I get a call and text from an employee named Bonnie. Promising all the same stuff as Cameron who is no longer with the company. Saying how completely normal it is to go up to 90 days without hearing from anyone. Really? It was your companies job to initiate the next step to counter the adjuster. Since then I lost 2 different friends who has interest in having their roofs inspected (they promise you 500 dollars off your roof per person). For obvious reasons they have no interest after asking me for weeks how my experience is going. To follow all that up, my insurance company sent a letter saying they won't be renewing me once the contract is up. Big shock. Overall this was a foolish and wasteful experience. Just another victim of seeing a facebook advertisement.

After hurricane Ian destroy my home. I need a new roof. I called Douglas restorations and right from the beginning they were very helpful. Once my retail manager came out( Omar Rodriguez) He also explained the process from the expectations to installing the the new roof. During the process the office ladies were very helpful whenever I called. Mr. Rodriguez sometimes twice a week and he always returned my call and took time to listen and explained. My experience although was rough due to all the damages he always took time to answer my calls and emails. The roof came out beautiful and it was done professionaly and great quality . Update: it has been almost 2 months since this review and there is new developments. Finally gutters replacement got scheduled un August and crew showed up but they found out problem with drip edge and roofers had installed the drip edge wiiut removing old gutters. Now we are back in the waiting game for the roofers to fix drip edge before gutters can be installed. I reached out to Stephen right after hurricane Ian to obtain a roof inspection. He was thorough and took time to listen to us and areas of our home that were conerns. He was detailed in showing us areas of special concern and helped walk is through the insurance maze. He took several photos to provide the insurance company with all the proof needed to obtain a satisfactory claim settlement. Once our insurance company made their decision, after our original desk adjuster was replaced and we had to have another field adjuster inspection, we were able to start the process of roof replacement. Stephen and his team were supportive and coordinated every step in a timely and professional manner. I signed a contract in December of 2022 and was told my roof would be done in 8 weeks. It wasn’t completed until April, I understand many people need their roof done right now but I felt that I was given a date that they knew they couldn’t make, and I was not updated by the company when they realized they wouldn’t make the date they gave me. I only found out after calling several times to follow up. After my roof was done the soffit was supposed to be replaced too and I called several times to follow up on the soffit being repaired only to hear that they would get to it when they can. It is now 8 months after initial contract signing and they still have not completed the soffit, I ended up having to hire another company to finish the job that Douglass did not.Service: Roof installation
