He gave us a very fair price to replace our ridge vent and came back to do the work the next day. On time fair, reliable, just wonderful!!!!! Bob was very prompt in returning our call. Only one other roofing company returned our call. Sad. Came out same day to look at needed repairs. Did repair work next day. Replaced boots on all roof vents. Then put covers over them to prevent squirrels from chewing on them. Bob was very professional and neat with his work. Meticulous too. Willingly answered all questions and showed all parts before replacing them. Went above and beyond. Happy with the finished product. Reasonably priced with one year guarantee. I saw Tropical Roofing / Bob recommended on Next door. Gave him a call, received a call back within a couple hours and a time was set for the next day. My repair was larger than expected and Bob recommended another company. He even called them and had them call me back within minutes of him leaving. Short answer...I would highly recommend Tropical Roofing of Hernando County without hesitation.My father passed away in 2018 and I had to take care of all estate issues, including sale of his home in Homosassa, FL in Citrus County. When we finally got a contract in July, the new prospective home owners conducted a home inspection. As a result of the inspection we needed some roof repairs on my father's home and the buyers insisted on having them done by closing end of August 24 rather than a credit to conduct later.I went on Google to research roofers with good reviews. Not everyone takes time to do good reviews. People are more apt to do so when negative or unhappy. This is a POSITIVE review.I contacted 5 roofers; 3 through my research and 2 at friends. Well good thing my research paid off. Tropical roofing was the only company who was professional and courteous to return calls even for just a repair...it is hot and humid in Florida summers and they were in next county of Hernando and very busy.From the beginning Margie and her husband Bob worked with me. Margie would keep me in loop as to status of date for an estimate AND later to conduct work. They worked with me and Bob's very busy schedule to get the work done. And even after work was completed thanked me for choosing them to do work. I was the thankful one.Roofers are very busy... and hard to come by honest and reputable ones. He didnt even try to upsell me and got the work done so our buyers would be content it was done in time.I would recommend them without reservations!!!
