We inherited a small house formerly occupied by a horader and heavy smoker. After clearing out everything and leaving the windows open for weeks, the house still had a heavy odor. Everything was covered with cigarette residue. I contacted PuroClean of Wellington and spoke directly to Antonio, the owner. I explained the situation and he took the time to explain what his crew would do to eliminate the problem. He came the following day and immediately started the process. Two days later, the job was complete and the house was clean and odorless. I was totally impressed by Antonio's knowledge, courtesy, attitude and professionalism. PuroClean gets rave reviews. Antonio Medina came the next day after I called and gave me an estimate for the water and mold damage in my garage. The following week he and his team finished the job. The garage looks like new. The crew did an excellent job. The price was fair. Antonio is mild mannered, polite, and kind. He explained everything. They had to take down half of my garage ceiling. They had to do detailed, precision work around the AC unit. I highly recommend PuroClean of Wellington, due to its professional job to remediate mold in two bathrooms and the garage in my house in West Palm Beach. My physical therapist highly recommended owner, Jose Antonio Medina, and his team who had done mold remediation in his house. Antonio presented me with a detailed work order and patiently explained how the remediation would be done. He kept me informed of the progress of the work and sent me a progress report and photos. Antonio was kind and compassionate when I expressed feelings of overwhelm due to the extent of the mold damage and the need to demolish several walls. He and his team did a highly professional and meticulous job of covering and protecting the furniture in the house, cordoning off the affected areas, removing and protecting bathroom fixtures, demolishing wall boards and tiles and cleaning and disinfecting the mold-affected areas. They did a great job cleaning up dust and debris at the end of the work before turning over the house back over to me. Antonio went above and beyond all my expectations by generously keeping his dehumidifiers running in my house for weeks after the completion of his work until my build-back contractors could get my air handler closet re-built and the air handler reinstalled and running again in my house. Last week he generously offered to clean and disinfect another bathroom wall that my build-back contractors demolished in preparation to retile. I walked in to a flood at my office - a pipe broke in the ceiling, soaking an entire wall and everything on it. I knew about PuroClean and I called them right away. Antonio and his crew were here an hour later. They were able to control the leak in a way that it stopped causing damage and they started drying the walls immediately. Stopping the leak was a huge ordeal that took 2 days, involving many plumbers, AC specialist, property management, neighbors and so on. When they finally stopped the leak, hours later the wall was entirely dry. Even my cheap IKEA shelf was salvaged! PuroClean repaired the drywall, painted it, replaced the damaged ceiling tiles, and left everything looking spotless. But what impressed me the most was how humble and attentive they were. While the AC guy was stomping around leaving tracks of dirt everywhere and never cleaning after himself, the PuroClean guys always treated my property with the utmost respect. They also kept to themselves and respected my privacy, cleaned even after the other sloppy contractors, and gave me the peace of mind that all will be well. Mr. Medina was very knowledgeable on the phone and when he arrived assured me that his company was going to take care of everything at a reasonable price. Wow. Phenomenal in every way. My tenant abandoned my condo. She was up to date in payment. Refused to turn over keys until the end of the month, but turned off electricity and left three weeks before her lease was up. I ended up having a pipe between the two condo walls that burst. There was water everywhere, and end stage mold was found. What a mess. Puro Clean came on a Saturday with a mega dehumidifier. Began remediating on Sunday, and they really did their best to control the damage. The damage was huge. Antonio has spoken to me whenever needed and sometimes every day. He was incredibly patient with all of my ‘lack of knowledge’ questions, sent pictures of the major steps, and has guided me on dealing with my insurance. I am so lucky to have found them. Did I tell you he was the only one to take my call on a Saturday. I got return calls a day or two later from everyone else.Addendum: due to Covid I did not get to see in person the finished product until 6 to 7 months later. It far exceeded my expectations., and I had plenty of pictures. It was unbelievable the attention to detail. I can’t believe how perfect everything looks. I have never seen such quality work. The place actually looks better than before if you can imagine that. It was expensive to remediate, but my insurance covered most of (almost all) of it. You will never find harder working, more honest people. And a pleasure to deal with.
