Brian SanPedro did a fantastic job explaining all of our options and giving us all the information we needed to make our decision. He was extremely flexible and accommodating and was able to meet with me same day. He was able to work within our budget and helped us so much!They were able to start working super quick and were able to work around the rain safely to ensure the project was done right. Shane Emery was fantastic, he always responded right away and was super knowledgeable, understanding and kind. I got estimates from BFARR Contracting to replace the roof on my house for $29,175 and I signed a contract for that amount.After they started they informed me that there was some damaged wood around the roof and they advised me to let them replace it. I asked them to present me with estimates and a new contract for that part but they never gave me a new contract for the additional work. Also, I never gave my consent for them to do any additional work beyond the original contract. They started working on the roof. I am 77 years old and had just lost my son and husband 2 months earlier so I didn’t go out that much to check on what they were doing. After a period, when I didn’t hear them working any more I went out to check on their progress and I found out that they had removed wood panels from under the 2nd floor balcony (my house is a 2-story wood house) as well as from the first floor which was not related to the roof at all. Further, they hadn’t replaced all of it so part of my house was open and exposed to the rain and animals. When I called them to ask the reason for removing the wood from that part of the house without my permission they couldn’t answer. When I then asked them to come and replace the wood they had wrongly removed they informed me that they couldn’t because the supporting column to which the wood was attached was damaged. They told me I needed to get an engineer to repair it. They then sent me invoice for $67,821.00 and threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn’t pay it. I had to pay $9,000 to a different contractor to repair the column they exposed and $6,000 to repaint the house as a result of the damage they incurred. It was not my original intention to do any repair to my house other than replacing the roof as I intended to put it on the market “as is.” The damage they caused to my house also resulted in significant delays to my listing of the house on the market.and I had to hire a lawyer.

Before getting a new roof for my home, a few friends suggested I check the My Safe Florida Home Program (MSFHP). Once I applied and the program approved my grant, I was given a list of over 20 contractors that I could use. After extensive research on all the contractors listed, I decided to go with BFARR Contracting. And I am so glad I chose them!From the very beginning, and throughout the project, Mathew Mink was great to work with. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and went over my options in much detail. He also helped guide me through the reimbursement process with the MSFHP.As for the actual roof replacement, the process was very professional. The work was organized and completed in a timely manner. I was kept up to date continually through the entire process, and the cleanup was very detailed.If you want a professional roof replacement done right, then I highly recommend BFARR Contracting!

I rarely leave ratings for products and services but I’d have to say that BFARR Roofing went above and beyond my expectations. Starting with Brian SanPedro, who provided helpful details prior to contracting and then ensured continuous communication before, during and after completion. Robert and team did a great job with the roof installation and even the painter I hired later to do trim work gave a great endorsement on the quality of the install. BFARR is BY FAR one of the best, if not the best, roofing companies out there. I needed a new roof and was referred to Brian S by a coworker. She had her roof done with this company as well and was very happy too. Brian was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, responsive , quick to schedule, finish , and just an overall good person to deal with. Jason was great as well. The roofers worked their tails off and cleaned up each day. BFARR was my first of 7 quotes. Their pricing was competitive for sure. The reason I got so many quotes is I had No idea how much a roof cost so I wanted to be sure I wasn’t getting taken advantage of ( single woman syndrome lol) I wish I didn’t waste my time. seriously……don’t waste your time getting other quotes. We are satisfied customers! After researching several roofing companies, Shane Emery is who sold us on contracting with BFarr. Shane went out of his way, so we didn’t have to, bringing us shingle samples, going over all our questions and concerns, and just reassuring us he would take care of any issues that might arise. We had one hiccup that was quickly addressed, and that’s the way to do business and earn our recommendation to anyone looking for a new roof. Shane even came by after clean up was complete and ran his magnet through our property like it was his own. With small grandchildren who play outside, we are thankful for his attention to those details. Our existing roof was overdue for replacement. I interviewed and took bids with four different roofing companies. The prices from these bids ranged from 29,000 -$34,000. I chose BFARR contracting for the following reasons.Mr. Shane Emery (Project Manager) arrived at our home and we went over what I was looking for to replace existing roof. Out of all the roofing companies that I interviewed Mr. Emily took the most time with his customer and explained , and answered all questions, pertaining to our roofing needs.I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and expertise towards Roofing materials, and the requirements to meet the revised building codes set forth by the State of Florida.Secondly, BFARR was the only company thatoffered the GAF timberline HDZ architectural shingles.Once the job began the roofing crews arrived at the noted time as scheduled by MatthewHuggins (superintendent) Matthew was super helpful during my experience with Bfarr contracting he was able to answer any and all questions during the three days that this project was being completedThe on-site roofing crews were led by Robert This gentleman was on site each day that the job was being completed. I recommend Bfarr Contractors for my roof replacement. Charles Denave was my contact for my new roof and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this contractor for new roof as they were reliable and did an excellent job. My roof was replaced in just two days. They let me know of any issues even before the work was done, as I had rot around the base of my chimney. So there were no surprises and I was informed of any extra charge. They even cleaned up as they did the construction.

This review is long overdue, but absolutely deserved. Our roof was in baaaaad shape, mostly due to a poor prior roof installation coupled with age/storm damage. Blake Bernstein and Brian San Pedro were absolutely top tier in making sure our roof replacement was exceptional. They met with my wife and I multiple times to discuss the work to be done, the process, timelines, and materials to be installed, while giving us constant updates and photos about the status of the work through phone calls and text messages. I had a ton of decking that needed replacement, and they absolutely were on top of making sure the support system for my shingles was perfect. (Like I said, our roof was in BAD shape.) During the initial roof consult, it was also found that our exterior chimney body was also completely in need of replacement. We never would have known had it not been for their commitment to provide outstanding service, as other roofers we had come to give estimates never considered checking the chimney for damage. Let’s just say a few 2x4s had dwindled to 1/2x0s… as they were no longer connected to the support frame. Pretty much the stucco seemed to be the only thing keeping it from collapsing.Overall, BFARR replaced our roof, gutters, chimney body, fixed our drywall/ceiling damage, and installed our AWESOME argon-filled skylights that now allows us the ability to have a conversation in the living room during a heavy rainstorm. (Previously they were polycarbonate domes, which were basically giant drums, if you can imagine.) Their crew was always on time, very professional, and left zero trash behind as they were very adamant about cleanliness around the job site. It was really awesome to have basically a one-stop solution with BFARR for all of our construction needs for this project, especially since it was much larger than we had anticipated, and reassuring to know we were in great hands throughout the entire process.I am very satisfied regarding the professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction and plan on using BFARR for future projects. Blake and Brian are absolutely great liaisons for the company and emanate customer satisfaction and interaction. My roof and chimney are in a better-than-new state, and we couldn’t be happier.
