AMAZING!I meet with six different contractors before finding 1st choice remodel ATL on Google. My first project with 1st choice remodel ATL was building a new wall and installing French doors to close off my entry way study in March 2021. I was extremely impressed with their level of professionalism and attention to detail. Fast forward 8 months and they did a great job gutting and renovating my dark and outdated kitchen. Communication with Dell, Gordon and the main office was easy. The work crew were on time everyday, polite and extremely professional. The work area was covered with plastic sheets to keep away dust and the crew cleaned up throughly after every work day. I have renovated 3 kitchens in the past and this was by far my best experience. I can’t wait for 1st choice remodel to start work on my new pergola, out door kitchen, enclosing of my existing breezeway and my master bathroom projects. Construction was done right in the middle of COVID and I appreciate that all the work crew wore masks when working inside my home. I would highly recommend 1st choice remodel. 1st Choice Remodel ATL ROCKS! They are professional and timely. Their quotes are spot on and guaranteed. I highly recommend them and will use them again for some exterior construction we are doing. The owner, Dell, and his team gave us a master bathroom by utilizing closet space. They also expanded our bathroom in the basement with a new layout and the addition of a shower. New tile in both bathrooms. We now have a dedicated guest bedroom downstairs with a full bath. We also had them split the laundry room in two to provide an additional office space. 1st Choice did an amazing job on gutting and remodeling my bathroom. Dell was very responsive and his team were professional, considerate, and provided quality work. The attention to detail and creativity on the tile work in the marble shower resulted in a look that far exceeded my expectations. The team took precautions such as masks in the new covid world. I felt secure both when wfh and when I had to leave the team alone while I was at work. Every day they cleaned up and left my place orderly. I would work with 1st Choice again in a heartbeat. We are extremely happy with our bathroom remodel. First, it's important to mention I sourced quotes from no less than a dozen companies. We chose 1st Choice because they were the only company that would only charge for labor - I was particular with my supplies and really wanted to buy them separately. I was surprised how many companies would only use products they bought, at a ridiculous markup! Needless to say, they were priced the best AND I was using my materials.Our bathroom remodel finished in just four business days (two days ahead of schedule - when does that every happen?) We had daily check-ins with the owner - discussing what was done, what the timeline was looking like, if there were issues (yay for previous homeowners doing stupid things and taking shortcuts!) and what all possible options for fixes would be. I felt very much a part of the process. No decision was made without my approval.The crew was wonderful - cleaning up after themselves every day, including mopping my hallway. They were polite and respectful, sweet with my baby and dogs and just all around hard workers (hence an early finish).I'll let the work speak for itself - it's really beautiful. Bottom line - you won't regret working with Dell and his team.

I could absolutely not be more excited about the work Dell and Juan and team did on my house if I tried. I had some pretty high hopes about what my kitchen and flex room / total laundry room construction would look like at the end, but when I say I was blown away by the result, that is the understatement of the year. Not only did they take my vision, run with it and enhance it in so many ways, they let me take my time and worked through decisions I wanted to make with me. They did new floors, cabinets, brand new island, countertops, flooring everywhere - but the most challenging was building a wall where plumbing could go through so I could have a laundry room. This was a GAME CHANGER for my house. Every single element of this remodel journey was fantastic, from the first consultation, to the extra effort put forth in every single small task. Both Dell and Juan worked extremely closely with me and made sure I felt good about any and all decisions they were asked to make. Professional could not even begin to describe it, but also extremely fun to work with! Beyond reasonably priced as well which is always an added bonus!! I will let the pictures do this more justice but could go on and on about how happy I am - Will ABSOLUTELY be hiring them again for the rest of my remodel projects and recommend them to EVERYONE I know!!

It was great working with Dell and his crew. We had very specific / custom layout for the bathrooms in mind and Dell worked with us to get us what we wanted. Although we had a little bit of an issue with the plumbing crew, the rest of the crew were exceptional - specifically the tiling crew. We get compliments from everyone on the tiles and the bathrooms. We were very pleased with the job that 1st Choice did on our basement renovation project. This was a large scale job that took about a year to complete, and which involved remodeling about 2/3 of our pre-existing basement, including creating an office space, a bedroom, a bathroom, a laundry room, a den, a large media room, as well as a semi-finished prep room for outdoor grilling. It was a major undertaking that involved reworking the plumbing, electrical, and ventilation systems, as well as adding a heat pump in addition to all of the general construction work. Thus, it meant coordinating extended work by multiple teams in such a way that they remained productive, yet did not get in each other's way.Everything was overseen, by Dell Jackson, the company owner, who has a mind like an air traffic controller. It is amazing to see how he fits different parts of the project together. In the beginning, he patiently walked us through every aspect of the project, answering our questions, raising questions that we would have never thought of, and helping us to find solutions to various surprise obstacles as they came along. With a project of this size, it was inevitable that plans had to be altered a few times along the way due to unforeseen complications. Each time, he listened to our needs carefully, presented us with multiple options, and always bent over backwards to accommodate us. On the few occasions that one of his crews made a mistake, or even if we changed our mind on some aspect after it was already done, his calm, thoughtful demeanor gave us confidence, and he was quick to see to it that the problem was resolved to our satisfaction. Because of the size of the project, and the long span of time we spent collaborating over it, this became a decidedly important factor to us. We also like the fact that he maintained the same teams throughout the project, so that the faces coming to our home were familiar and performed at a consistent quality level.And so, we would happily recommend 1st Choice to anyone considering a major renovation on their home, and they will be the first place we look should we decide to take on another project on our home. I will start by stating that the level of professionalism, service, quality, responsiveness, and attention to detail is by far the best I have ever experienced. The owner is a genuine person that lives and breathes the quality of his work.Our home was built in the 1940's and needed more then the average remodel. 1st Choice's team made sure that no stone was left un-turned and repairs/replacements were done of all areas of "issue". As opposed to the typical contractor covering things up. To see the transformation of our home is incredible. We get compliments constantly from neighbors about the transformation.The horror stories you think of when considering a contractor are null and void at 1st Choice. The entire team takes care of you from start to beyond finish. The owner knows his reputation is his work, and his reputation is THE BEST!Thinking back, I'm not sure I have ever done an online review, but this experience compelled me to do so. If I knew I'd be doing another project soon I wouldn't tell anyone about 1st Choice, because I'd want them all to myself. 1st Choice Remodel just completed a basement renovation for us. We have been extremely pleased with this company from start to finish. The project finished in the timeline we were given. When the crew started to get behind they even worked weekends to catch up. One of the best parts of the entire remodel was some suggestions Dell made to our existing plans. His suggestions of moving a closet and making it a walk in and using a glass door on our office were spot on. They were minor details that we had not thought of that greatly increased our satisfaction for the final outcome. We had a project to finish our basement, which we planned to include a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room. We started by reaching out to a lot of different companies, walking through our plan, getting their thoughts and opinions they might offer, and gathering their price information.When we laid out all of the bids, we found 1st Choice to be the most competitively priced, and when we did our research and compared ratings, they also had the most favorable reviews. Now with the project complete, I can say there is definitely a reason behind their strong reputation!Dell and his team were absolutely fantastic. They were very polite and professional to deal with, and fastidious about getting all aspects of the job done right. They helped guide us through the design process, and provided great ideas to maximize the use of our space. When they started building, walls popped up very quickly. I think the longest task was dealing with the delays in permitting and inspections, which was out of their hands and likely from the unfortunate impact of COVID-19.At the end of the project, we had a true basement. Fantastic craftsmanship, and ready for us to start occupying!We would use them again, and would definitely recommend them to all friends and family.

Can't say enough positives about 1st Choice Remodel ATL. Just finished up our second project. The first was in an unoccupied rental we got ready to sell (and the remodel / upgrades led to full list offer the first day). This one was in our home - with the five of us and two dogs - all peacefully coexisting during the project which finished ahead of schedule and on budget. Dell is a terrific project manager (who put in the time to help us make important design choices along the way) with a great crew. The guys worked in an organized and clean fashion - the last day of work when I got home I was amazed at what a great job they did on the clean up side. Working neatly and cleaning as they go is very important for us and these guys hit the mark for sure. The sequence of work (demolition ... installation) was very carefully thought out and carried out (thanks again Dell!) so that the project moved along swiftly and efficiently while minimizing the impact on our every day routines. And the end result looks great, great attention to detail, we love our updated kitchen counters & backsplash and completely redone second full bath. Definitely recommend!!

Dell was so helpful and honest; happy to give his professional opinion but encouraging us to do exactly what we wanted. You always hear about how projects end up taking way longer than expected.... not with 1st Choice! I was amazed at how efficiently they worked. Not to mention, everyday when we came home to check on the progress the workspace was spotless. They kept everything so tidy. Juan and the crew were so considerate and kind. Dell made sure everything was absolutely perfect before closing the job! Saving the best for last... the new bathroom/closet itself is a DREAM! Beyond aesthetics, we had some structural issues and they fixed it all. Never imagined I would want to spend so much time in the bathroom, but it’s just so pretty! We recently had 2 bathrooms completely remodeled, kitchen cabinets painted, and our hardwood floors refinished. This was a major project that was extremely intimidating for my pregnant wife and I. When we decided to downsize and buy a fixer upper we were concerned about the horror stories we hear about contractors and didn't know what to expect when we started getting estimates. Well, first meeting with Dell brought a sense of confidence and thankfully we decided to go with 1st Choice. Dell, Juan and the team did a fantastic job on our remodeling. When issues came up throughout the process, they gave us honest advises and fair prices for unforseen issues outside of the scope - we knew they could come up considering the age of the house. We opened up an old isle kitchen to the main area and completely remodeled the main floor. At the end of the project we were very please with the work that was done and the handling of our project. I would actually rate 4.5 stars but decided to round up. 1st Choice Remodel took care of remodeling my kitchen and a few other small items after some water damage. Dell was very helpful through the process answering lots of my questions and making suggestions on materials. His team did a great job with the kitchen counter tops and cabinets. My only complaint would be it was supposed to take 2 weeks, but after a few delays ended up taking double the amount of time. Dell’s honesty and transparency through the process as well as their competitive price and craftsmanship will have me coming back for any future repairs I might need. Thanks!
