I am so happy with my project which Thomas made a reality. This was a blank area with nothing but “grass”. Thomas is a knowledgeable, patient Landscaper, he listened to my wishes and made great suggestions to make this work out. It’s hard to tell from this photo because a lot of things are deciduous, but there will Interest all year long. In three years this will be lush. The air-conditioning unit will be a little bit hidden and the gas meter as well.

I am a neighbor of this fine company. Recently, I got some work done on my yard and needed a new fence installed. I spoke to another company that gave me a quote that was $5000 more than what Grantlanta quoted. my new fence looks immaculate and my backyard feels three times bigger. The main Carpenter is a perfectionist which translates to having my fence look extremely level and street despite my yard not being that. we’re spending a lot more time outside now. My dogs are loving the new yard! You can really tell. They run around so fast that I think one of my dogs maybe sprained her leg. I guess she’s not used to running around such a large yard. Even my indoor cat is loving the backyard. He would always yell at us when we went outside without him so for the first time, we brought him outside to show him the new fence, and he immediately wanted to go back outside when we brought him in. We used Grantlanta 10 months ago to clear out the yard at our new house, lay sod, mulch, pine straw and plants. We are overall very happy with how our yard is looking now after we put in the work after to water, etc! Brandon was pleasant and efficient in giving us a quote and scheduling the job. The price seemed reasonable, we also did not shop around as we wanted to get everything done before winter. I was clear from the beginning that we wanted to hire a local company to create our new yard and help with upkeep after. I never heard back from him on a quote for yard maintenance after multiple requests, they seemed very busy at the time. My husband and I ended up doing the upkeep along with hiring another company for weed control and we think our yard and plants look great! Would recommend. Grant was phenomenal to work with! I had a food forest that was out of hand and growing wild due to demand on my time elsewhere. I loved that Grant was appreciative of my sweat equity investment in my passion project and was interested to understand my desires for the space. Additionally Grant rad very receptive to my wanting to stay chemical free as possible and even offer up his own eco friendly weed killing solution! The work was outstanding and I love that they’re in the neighborhood!!! I’ll certainly be using Grantlanta for my future maintenance plan!

I really wanted to give this company 5 stars and to continue to do business with them.My lawnmower had broken so I was just trying to find help quickly because my grass was becoming a nuisance. I attempted to go along with 3-4 other companies to have my grass cut. Just a simple lawn mowing, no landscaping, and nothing over the top (I didn’t even care about edging or anything crazy in depth). I have a larger than average yard but I don’t live on an acre or anything. I usually can cut my entire lawn myself within about 90 minutes, but like I said, broken lawnmower and everything. After much frustration with the other companies not showing up, cancelling, and constant rescheduling, I found Grantlanta. I was able to meet with one of the contractors. He seemed reasonable and helpful at the time. He told me the basic quote and then said it could fluctuate since it was my first time using the company and with the length of grass since it was longer than average. Okay, fine. I was ready to take anyone at that point not thinking much into the situation since it wasn’t that complicated.They arrived while I was at work and began around 11 am. 40 minutes later the contractor called me and said the grass was too high, the price I agreed upon was 240$ AND they would have to raise the price to 300$ for cutting my lawn.I wish this was explained a little better to me in the initial visit and quote. I don’t remember agreeing to 240$ for grass being mowed nor was I comfortable with the price of service being RAISED TO 300$. I remember 120$ was the basic agreed upon rate for first timers. The contractor explained to me that because the grass was so high, they had to charge double! I’m sorry but 120$ to mow a lawn is already high enough. It wasn’t until the quote for 300$ was made that I had an issue.There were 3 people at my home for over two hours cutting my grass. The original contractor was not at my home. Not sure what was transpiring, but I had enough at that point.I called the contractor and asked them to finish cutting my grass and that I was going to attempt to find a different solution.The contractor was still very cool and kind in this so I can’t be too hard on him or Grant. Grant contacted me and apologized for the situation. Miscommunications occurred and grant along with his contractor were doing their best to amend the situation despite them working at another locations and coordinating with other teams to run their business. I understand that it takes a lot to run a business and work outside for long periods of time while dealing with people like me.However, when I arrived home, I was shocked to see less than half of my lawn mowed. Grass clippings all over my driveway. I would have at least thought they would finish my front yard with 3 men over 2 hours! (Back yard I didn’t really care about too much at the time). I hate that I’m being this person and leaving a long negative review like this but this is egregious.I hope this doesn’t happen with anyone else in the future who utilizes Grantlanta. I don’t believe they enjoy negative reviews, no local business would. I’m not sure how this will be amended. They seem like great people, but unfortunately based off of this first experience utilizing them, I’m not sure I’ll be using them again.Services: Lawn care, Lawn mowing & maintenance

Last year we had to replace our sewer line, leaving us with a massive crater in the center of our lawn. Half of our grass was ripped out, and the other half was barely there in the first place. Muhammad from Grantlanta came by for a quote and we knew immediately that he was the guy for the job. Muhammed was not only punctual and professional, he was by the far the most knowledgeable landscaping professional we have encountered (we met with 3 other notable companies in the area). He advised us on bushes we had growing and explained a new landscape design that would maximize space and create a revamped look. We were a little scared to get the quote after being so impressed by his knowledge… it ended up being in line with all of the other quotes we received! He came out promptly (days later starting at 7:30am) and removed a ton of ivy from a concrete wall lining our driveway, ripped out some existing bushes that were dying, seeded and plowed our yard after ripping out the grass, and then laid sod. I cried when I pulled up to see the yard for the first time. Muhammad and his team transformed our home and we are beyond grateful. We will never stop referring this incredible team to friends and neighbors!! Thanks, Muhammad!!

Initially, we made a bad decision to go with someone who was inexperienced and did a horrible job on landscaping the backyard. But once we learned about Grantlanta and did more research into their company, it was a no brainer!Brandon was amazing! He came out and helped us with envisioning the whole backyard. He even threw some knowledge on the old pipe that the previous company placed in and offered to correct it. Brandon started out the whole process.Then came Muhammad and his team which included the incredibly skilled Julio who graded, tilled the soil, and added the compost. He did an amazing job! I had a horrible experience and hours wasted, trying to plan a project with Spencer and Howard. Very difficult to get them to reply to messages. Ultimately agreed to pay them thousands of dollars to come do weeds and leaves in my yard and still can’t get them to put a date on the calendar to show up. after 12 days of back-and-forth for a basic job, I’m now having to move on to a different company altogether. I reached out directly to Grant, and never heard back.

Meh. 60% additional cost versus other comparable local teams for 50% less work - and never once hit their commitment agreed to at the start. As a landlord I wanted this to be as set and forget as possible for both me and my tenants, but with an unfortunate series of misses from the beginning (missed part of the lawn on day 1 - should have been a glaring sign, weeding was an afterthought and blamed several times on not enough time (lack of team time management should never be used as an excuse), shrub care was ignored until pressed). For $100 per visit for a relatively easy property the service was incredibly overpriced. After reading the reviews here, perhaps I just got a subpar lackey team. But would not recommend to anyone based on my experience. First impressions are hard to change :-/
