Very clean store. There's lots of displays, which i like. They could tell that i was in a hurry and helped me find everything quickly. It's easy to find, and easy to get in and out quickly if you're pressed for time. The staff is very knowledgeable, which to me, is crucial at a hardware store. I've had nothing but good experience s everywhere I've been to in Blackshear so far. We don't get over that way much, but that may be changing. It was an all around good experience at the Ace Hardware in Blackshear GA. Good job guys. Thumbs up!

If you need it, Ace has it - from plants to sunglasses to tools, decorative items for your yard or your home, and, of course, hardware. I'm in the store at least once a week.They have a wonderful handyman service available also.If you've ever tried to get a tradesman to come to your house for a small job and bend disappointed whenever one was too busy, you need to contact Amy at Ace.She has lined me up with qualified craftsmen that have fixed doors, taken care of plumbing issues and more.And tell Amy I sent you. :-)P.S. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and friendly, too.

I was looking for pool hose's and looks other places and they didn't have any. But Ace has many different sizes of hose's for your pool or other projects. Love this store.

Farmers and Builders is our favorite store in Blackshear. My husband and I both love it. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. It's fun shopping there! It's our go to store for home and garden needs as well as some of my crafting needs. I even noticed the owner in a work vest working right along side her employees the other day, when's the last time you saw that? I simply can't speak highly enough of Farmers and Builders in Blackshear.

I think you can get pretty much anything you need here for household chores and repairs. Very good selection of items for the home and garden. The employees here are very helpful and friendly. Prices on most of their items are actually not bad either.

They always seem to have something your looking for but this time they fell short. I was looking for a bamboo fanrake they had the rubber made one's only. Everything else I needed they had so I left happy because nobody else had a bamboo fanrake so either they don't make them anymore or have to special order them on line. Happy day's to ya.

I said it was extremely important that the keys I was having made worked because my daughter was due to have a baby any day and we needed to be able to get in the house in case of an emergency. The guy who cut them didn't act like he knew what he was doing and even asked someone for help at one point. I asked again was he sure they would work and he smirked to me and said "if they don't bring them back" The whole point of having them made was that i needed them now. I was not surprised when neither of them worked and I tried to take them back but they were closed. Today I got a refund and then went down the street. I got keys made that actually open the door and for half the price. So three trips to get what I needed. Great job guys. You just lost a customer. Not that you care anyway.

On this day I was shopping for water softener salt. This is more than just hardware it's also a great gift shop. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Stop in, I'll bet you like this store too.

Very poor experience!Went there for a specific product advertised on their website and in and out of store, and nothing in Stock! Called in advance to ensure they had the product. Will never go to this store again. Just advertising for foot traffic.

This is our local hardware store and I love to shop local. I consider the owner to be a personal friend and I like to support my friends in their industry when I can. I typically know what I need when I go in but the staff always greet me and offer assistance---and then avoid harrassing and hounding me! I wonder sometimes if they don't place bets on how quick I'll be back. I don't think I've ever made just one trip in a day. I've rarely gotten the wrong item, it was my fault if I did, but I always forget something or maybe didn't realize I needed one certain item, so back I go. So far I haven't caught them laughing or high-fiving the winner of the bet, but I'm sure its a riot when I leave after the second (or third!) trip.

I had to call to see if they had an item I was looking for and they had it in back made the extra effort to get it to the front for me enjoy the friendly people there the two girls up at the counter the store was very clean and I do a lot of shopping there

Went in there today and there was a rack of garden seeders. Ticket said 49.99. Get up to register and it rings up 99.99 so i had the girl go back and look. She comes back with a tiny box with a bag seeder and says " thus is the one that is 49.99". I told her there was more of the ones I got over there and she didn't deny it. My sister who was in the store too then saw them moving the seeders like I got. So I left all of my items. After spending thousands of dollars at ACE, I will NEVER spent another cent there. I will drive Lowes where they don't pull that kind of tactics. Of course she asked me if I still wanted it at 99.99. Took everything I had not to tell her what to do with it.
