I bought material, got the run around from a bad hire that didn't even start the job. So, the material I paid for set for over a year (my bad). They then sold the material I paid for, and refuse to give me any sort of credit. I would have been happy with 50% of a credit. I will never use this place again. I'll drive over an hour to avoid them. I called them before the 1 year time period was up, and never got a call back. I don't know the name of the lady I spoke with the first time, but she was rude, and made it obvious she didn't want to deal with me. Avoid this place if you can! I honestly hate to leave a bad review for a local business, but this one is deserved. Not a good way to run a business. I'll be building a house this year, or early next. I will definitely not be using this place for any material.

I have used Hemphill for small run metal roofing projects a few times, they are always ahead of schedule with my order, they call when the order is ready, and their Warehouse folks are always ready and waiting to help load things up.All that and competitive pricing!

I made the mistake of assuming that giving the dimensions would ensure me with what I needed. Now Im stuck w $600 worth of metal roofing channeled in the wrong direction. Its ultimately my fault, but a little common sense and better communication by a company that does this everyday would have helped. The delivery driver was very professional and polite but nobody else seemed to give a hoot in making this right for me. Apparently this is a common problem. This was my second large purchase from them and I will not be sending my money back there next time.
