I recently hired Jaco to replace my old roof after we had an unexpected leak, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I found the leak on a Saturday evening, and called Jaco Roofing that following Monday. To my surprise, Hunter, a sales rep with Jaco, was able to come out that same Monday for a quote and by next week Tuesday-I had a new roof! As a first time homebuyer, I have never gone through this process. Hunter was knowledgeable and walked me through the necessary steps to ensure I had all bases covered. Their team was not only skilled and efficient but also very tidy. I was concerned with how many nails I might find in the yard, however, the team used tarps to help keep everything confined to one space and also rolled a magnet around my yard to pick up any nails. I have a dog and continue to check for nails just in case, but I haven’t found one yet! The new roof looks fantastic, and I appreciate their attention to detail. The before and after aerial photos they provided showcase the impressive transformation. I highly recommend Hunter with Jaco Roofing for anyone in need of roofing services.

We just purchased a home in Conyers and less than 60 days after moving in our home insurance said we had to replace our roof within 10 days or we would be canceled 🤬 We immediately started getting quotes and Ryan with Jaco Contracting not only gave us the best price but they were so professional and completed the job in one day and our roof looks amazing! On June 4th a heavy thunderstorm rolled through the area, dumping big hail for 12-15 minutes.Having worked with Landon Harper and JACO contracting before I knew the call to make. The next afternoon I called Landon. In a short time he was at my house, on the roof. He immediately found the storm damage and started the repair process. He even handled the insurance company for me.Landon is very friendly and easy to talk with. He answers any questions you may have along the way. Very responsive to calls and texts. I contacted Jeremy about the damage to my roof, and he arrived in the morning to inspect it. Jeremy was responsive and knowledgeable. I am impressed with his support and communication. He assisted me with the insurance claim process, accompanied us during the adjuster meeting, and managed the coordination of the workers. He provided us with a timeline and was able to deliver everything he promised within that timeframe. The roofing team arrived on time and moved our flowerpots and garden statues to avoid damage. They placed a tarp around the house to collect all roofing materials. Throughout the day they worked hard and went out to purchase additional boards required for our roof. After completing the work, they cleaned up, including picking up stray shingles. They left everything as clean as they found it. Jeremy scheduled the painters to take care of some internal damage and they arrived on schedule and ready to work. They cleared out the laundry room, covered the cabinets, repaired the drywall, painted the walls, and neatly put everything back. If you're in need of contracting services, I strongly suggest checking out Jeremy and Jaco Contracting. I've had a fantastic experience working with them and can't recommend them highly enough!

Jaco did an amazing job and we are loving our new roof. Gene Hernandez handled everything from calling our insurance company, meeting with the insurance adjuster and getting our gutters fixed in addition to the roof replacement. Kyle Boehm and Jaco Contracting did a great job replacing my roof. It was damaged by a hail storm in March. After striking out with a few other lazy contractors, I met Kyle through LinkedIn. Kyle went out of his way to meet my adjuster to make sure my claim was approved. He was here all day while the roof was being replaced to make sure this process was smooth. Talked to Landon Harper in late September he inspected my roof and showed pictures of hail damage and wind damage from August storm. Pretty cool stuff used a drone then from drone video he showed me, decided he should get up on the roof. Entire inspection and initial assessment took 20 minutes. JACO had done such a great job on my next door neighbors home all in one day, I went with JACO.On October 5th JACO came in with 8 man crew. Backed up a trailer into my driveway to remove old roof. Started at 8 o'clock, demo was done by 10:30, entire job plus clean up done before 5 PM. Roof looks great. Speed quality polite and professional crew. Landon was there every step of the way. Three follow up visits to insure all work done to my expectations. Landon helped with the insurance company, just made this a painless experience. Five star company.This is the second roof installation for this house. first company did a good job but took a week. JACO much better overall experience. You can't go wrong with JACO. It was a seamless process from start to finish & everything Robert and the other representatives said that they would do, they did it!! Every step was executed in a very timely manner. We were able to pick out all of our product details from the options they provided and they delivered in record timing. The new roof and gutters look great and we've had some pretty hard rain since the install and not one issue with leaks or any concerns with craftsmanship. I would say that I'd definitely use this company again but... I already am, on another property that we've just acquired that needs a roof replacement. JACO is definitely the way to go!!

Ben from JACO Contracting worked with us from the inception of a hail-damage claim with our homeowners insurance company (Allstate).He made multiple trips to our home to meet the Allstate reps as needed - he even showed up on days when Allstate said they were going to be there but their rep didn't show up.Ben went above and beyond the call of duty with respect to advocating on our behalf with Allstate, collecting photographs, videos, and making attempts to repair the damage (the attempts failed) all in an effort to justify the claim for a full roof replacement.Unfortunately Allstate did not feel there was sufficient damage to warrant the claim and denied it for a variety of reasons - NONE of which were the fault of JACO Contracting.Once my wife and I decided to move forward with the replacement out-of-pocket, Ben continued to work with us on pricing and made it palatable.To be honest - Ben made it such that there was no question we wanted to use JACO Contracting for our roof replacement.They replaced the roof on Monday and completed the job within one day! Do not hire. JACO does not know how to install drip edge, and had to hire a gutter company, who also knows nothing about installing drip edge, to do the job that any reputable roofing company should know how to do!On August 1, 2020 JACO Contracting replaced my roof due to storm damage. My roof needed to be brought up to code to comply with Section R905 of the Requirements for Residential Roof Coverings in Georgia. The new roofing code requires drip edge to be installed at the eaves and gables of shingled roofs. JACO violated this requirement when installing my roof by failing to install the drip edge. The required drip edge was purchased, was on-site, and was included in the work agreement. However, the drip edge was discarded in the throw-away dumpster.On August 4, 2020, I contacted JACO regarding the fact that my roof was not compliant with the new code. I was told multiple reasons why the drip edge was not installed, and ultimately JACO wanted to install gutter guards instead of the required drip edge. I contacted my county and insurance company and was informed that if the drip edge is not installed around the perimeter and rake of my home that the new roof would not be up to code as required by Georgia Law. I also confirmed with Owens Corning that gutter guard is not the same as the required drip edge.On October 20, 2020, Owens Corning sent JACO installation guidelines and instructions. However, on December 17, 2020, JACO was still unable to install the drip edge around the perimeter of my home and attempted to install another substitute for the drip edge. This substitute was folded sheet metal that was too wide to fit above the gutters and did not have the required kicker that is crucial in diverting the rain away from the home and into the gutters. JACO wanted to cut the sheet metal so that it would fit around and above the gutters which results in a path for rain to drain and would result in wood rot and mold of the fascia boards and damage to other wood areas of my home.In March 2021, JACO sent a sub-contractor, Kuhn Gutters, LLC, to my home to install the drip edge that should have been installed in August 2020. The sub-contractor also reinstalled gutters after installing the drip edge. On April 16, 2021, the sub-contractor needed to come back to my home because rain is draining behind the gutters. The draining rain behind the gutters falls to the ground and is splashing rain and mud upon the hardy plank area near the foundation of my home. The hardy plank becomes saturated with the rain and is leading to the deterioration of the hardy plank and to other wood areas on the home. These wet areas are also a breeding ground for mold, termites, and is flooding my home’s foundation.Some are shingles are not lying flat on the roof and are causing the roofing deck to be exposed. The excess water exposure is also damaging the fascia on my home. At this point, the drip edge has become dislodged and is clogging the gutters. None of the drip edge is nailed down or secured to the roof deck, nor is it under the underlayment in which both are required for proper installation. In many places the drip edge is bent, and just placed behind the gutters. There is also a gap between the fascia and the gutters where the shingles do not cover. These issues are causing severe damage to my home and are the result of the negligent workmanship provided by JACO Contracting and the sub-contractor.On the front of the home there is a gutter without a downspout The rain drains into the gutter, but has no way to leave the gutter, other than by flowing backwards and running down the roof and into the home’s foundation. I hired JACO because of its Owens Corning Platinum Installer status. However, it has been 12 months and there are still very serious issues with my roof and gutter system caused by JACO’s negligent work.I even sent JACO a Bob Vila link on how to install drip edge, and still JACO failed to install the drip edge properly. I would highly recommend JACO, especially Landon. Landon went above and beyond what we had expected, to help us. He filed a claim for roof damage with our insurance company and showed up during the inspection and explained to the inspector the hail damage spots and dates of hail damages. Although the inspector recommended a roof replacement, the insurance offered some small amount for patchwork repairs. Landon came back with a technician and tried to repair and videotaped the process to show that the shingles were extremely brittle. When the insurance company refused to pay, Landon suggested various alternatives. He educated us along the way. Finally we inquired with several local companies about the whole roof replacement, and received quotes. Landon’s bid was competitive. In addition JACO uses the top of the line products. Landon advised us on numerous issues from vents to shingles. They cut new vents, installed water guard and brought the roof up to the code. They found several rotted boards and replaced them. The crew was amazing—extremely hardworking and dedicated. Exemplary. The work manager Mike was professional and helpful throughout the entire process.We are very impressed with Landon’s honesty, integrity, and diligence. I called JACO Contracting Solutions for a estimate for a roof replacement.I talked to Ben Wages on the phone he came out a couple days later. He pulled up we talked about my concerns.He went to his suv pulled out his ladder and went on the roof and inspected it he immediately seen it waswind and hail damage.He asked me who was I insured with he filled out the paperwork info and when he got home we called the insurance and they started asking me questions I didn't know the answers and Ben immediately stepped in as my contractor and got me through the process.He was with me from beginning to end. My insurance company sent out an inspector and I work till around 4 o'clock.So Ben as my contractor scheduled to meet him and talk about the facts of the damage the insurance inspector change the time at the last minute. Ben wasn't able to be there with him.They called me and said all I needed was 21 shingles replacedand my roof was only 5 years old and my roof was 15 years old. So they didn't wantto do the right thing.I called Ben and toldhim about what they said. Ben assured menot to worry about it.By the next week they were calling me to deposit the money minus the deductible but I got a new rooffor the price of my insurance deductible and with Owens Corning quality shingles.If you need a roof inspection, estimate or need someone professional to handle a claim. Jaco Contracting did an excellent job for me. I had storm damage in July. My experience was with an excellent team of men. They are professional, responsive, and highly skilled. I never had a call or text that was not answered. Now they are super busy, but that is the type of team that will get things done. Busy companies are busy for a reason, they are Excellent. I will always refer them to my friends and neighbors.I want to thank Mr. Hunter Phillips, Mr. Michael Matthews, and Mr. Stephen Long. My home was damaged around the foyer window and about 8 ft of roof eave (plastic vinyl type material) was twisted and pulled from the house. They will listen but will take the time to check everything because it is what you cannot see sometimes.I did not need a new roof or shingle repair. The cost of my repair was below my deductible. The first day was to repair the leaking window and then they ordered the material to repair the twisted eave.They scheduled the work, kept me updated, called when they were on the way and completed the job as promised. They always social distance.This company has a lot of happy clients. I am one and so is my son. They also repaired a leak at my son's house.
