Very clean, The owner very accommodating and personable made recommendations for sites to see and they were excellent. The room was clean smell of bleach. You can tell that they've updated the rooms And even though the rooms are somewhat small they are still cozy comfortable and the location is excellent you are walking distance from downtown Ellijay.Rooms: Bathroom and room Small but clean and comfortable. USB ports on desk outlet station did not work.Nearby activities: Downtown Is 2 min walk many places to eat and entertain yourself.Safety: They have the standard hotel lock updated card key access but there is no deadbolt something they may want to consider.Walkability: Many places to walk to for a good meal breakfast lunch and dinner also excellent kaffehaus.Food & drinks: Great breakfast at Corner Stone Cafeexcellent kKaffehaus. Had a Maple Vanilla latte it was excellent.Noteworthy details: Owners very nice and take pride in the Inn.

Great little place to stay . Reminds me of days gone by. Just a small little place ,rooms with a nostalgic feel. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to the downtown area and places to eat .Nearby activities: Great food at the Cajun depot near by. 😋

NOPE, GO TO THE BEST WESTERN A FEW MILES AWAY ITS WORTH IT!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ELLIJAY INN AT ALL TO ANYONE, EVER...NOT EVEN AN ENEMY! If it were possible to leave a review and LEAVE A NEGATIVE AMOUNT OF STARS this would be the place I'd do that for!! The old lady that was at the counter for check in has no business being in a position where she is allowed to interact with other humans! She even tried degrading and belittling me and my husband because she didn't know how to explain herself and made it sound like I hadn't paid already thru online reservation, she didnt even want to see the proof of it, just continued to tell me that I hadn't paid and that instead of the amount I had already paid online and had proof of, not only on the Expedia app but email and my credit card account info showing the payment of $97 had already been paid but she was trying to charge me $100 extra and when I tried showing her that I had proof and then tried telling me it was extra for a deposit but that was not what she initially said. She said it showed it had not been paid yet and that I had to pay the extra or no room. My husband tried explaining the situation again and became extremely frustrated that he told her nevermind we were cancelling the reservation and wanted our money back but then she said "Do u not speak English?!" Really woman, u really have the nerve to ask us if we speak English and she isn't even able to properly explain stuff to customers but gets I'll and nasty with the customers! On top of that she had some man in the back room fussing and raising heck at her and her back at him...not professional at all! I RECOMMEND U GOT JUST A FEW MILES UP THE ROAD AND SHARON AT THE BEST WESTERN ON THE HILL WILL BE EXTREMELY PROFFESSIONAL WITH YOU AND HAS A NICE AND PLEASING PERSONALITY PLUS ITS MUCH NICER AT THE BEST WESTERN TOO!Noteworthy details: Old lady has a disgusting attitude and the driveway will tear the front end of ur car up!!

The owner barged in and complained about empty bottles I left on the desk, demanding I immediately throw them out. Then this lady insisted I WASNT LAYING ON THE CORRECT SHEET ON THE BED. This led to a confrontation . I began laughing out of utter disbelief. Then her husband tried prying me out of the room so they could clean. I was working on my computer and I requested that they leave me and the room alone. This presumably led to them not giving my deposit back. I’m still in shock on how these people run their business. Don’t make the same mistake I did and stay somewhere else.

The rooms were very clean and very rooming. The inn is in a good location so you can walk to the downtown area. My only issue is the beds are about three feet off the floor. I'm short and old so it was hard getting on the bed. They need to have a step stool in the rooms.Nearby activities: Close to downtown.Walkability: Downtown was in walking distanceFood & drinks: Restaurant across the street

The bed was comfortable. That was it. I read reviews that were bad but it was the only hotel. I spoke with manager on arrival. She was nice esp. as we discussed bed bugs. They do not have bed bugs. This hotel is for sleeping only. It says there is room service. Not hardly. This hotel is very old but they do their best and it is pretty clean. But our cost was ridiculous. $244 for one night. 2 adults and 1 child. If my son’s girlfriend had not already paid I would have tried to negotiate a better price. Their room was $190 for 2 adults.
