The Website shows open, No one picks up the phone. They depend on out of state Money to buy up here but in Big cities "We Work All the time" that's how we have MONEY to buy up here. If we worked 9-5 and lied about being open we couldn't afford to buy up here. That's the difference. People in this area need their Biscuits and fried chicken but don't put in the man hours to achieve what we've achieved in Big Cities to have the Money to buy here. Let's find better places. Mark Congdon is by far THE best realtor we have ever encountered. He is always available, friendly and in good spirits. He knows everything about the area, trust me I tried. If it wasn't a good property or priced well, he knew as soon as I mentioned the address. Normally I am my own realtor, I find what I want to see and the true realtor is just there to get me in. But not Mark, I gave him full control and he didn't disappoint.

Terrible customer service / relations. Would never recommend Susan McVey an associate broker at this office. I have owned a vacation log cabin rental in the area and had success with it. I inquired about additional property to purchase for building additional cabins. I spoke with Susan McVey 2 weeks prior to planning my trip to the Blue Ridge area to purchase a lot. Looking at 4 lots. 1 was forwarded to me by Susan and 3 I emailed to Susan. She confirmed the date and time and would be available. I notified her that I could be there the evening before and she stated that would be better. So i cut my hunting trip short and proceeded to her Ellijay office. She was fully aware I was coming in. Approx 1 hour before i was to arrive, she called and notified me that she would not be available, something came up. She told me she referred my info to another agent and they had the time to help me. Once i arrived at the Remax office and met the other agent, i was informed by her that she knew nothing about any of the lots or where they were located and did not have the time to take me anywhere. She also informed me that the lot that Susan had recommended would not work, it does not allow seasonal rentals and the homes there in the community are not log cabins. I wasted one day of my hunting trip and another day trying to locate a lot and the driving time back to Florida. You would think a professional agent would understand its a long distance trip and it was set weeks in advance so that it would not waste their time...but my time was not an issue to her. I would NEVER give her or this office a recommendation to sell a tent.She would get a 5 star rating for being unprofessional. If her name is on a property in the future i would walk away if she had anything to do with receiving a commission on the sale. TOTALLY DISGUSTED AND DISSAPOINTED. IF she should try to dispute this complaint..i have copies of the texts and communications to back up the complaint.John / Potential Buyer and investor.

Stopped by their office this morning and was greeted by two females in the office that had NO clue how to take care of my inquiry. And evidently the agent back in the office was just to busy to even come out and greet me and help me on my inquiry about a certain property I might have an interest in! Oh....and the office girls didn't have any idea what a HUD Home was. So I'll find another firm that has 5 min. to talk to me, theirs plenty of them in the Ellijay area.
