I hired DGS to do remodel my master bathroom. They completed the job but as a result of them improperly installing my tub, there was a leak into the level below which damaged the ceiling and our air hockey table. They came back and corrected the error and fixed the ceiling below the table but refuse to replace the air hockey table that was damaged in the process. At first they were responsive but after a while they stopped replying to emails as well as my phone calls. There is also section of the floor in the bathroom where the grout keeps coming up. They've come by to address it 2 times before but the issue keeps reoccurring and they've not addressed the source of the issue. Since they're not returning my phone calls, they've not returned to fix the floor in the bathroom either.

We hired DGS Contractors after receiving several quotes to have our failing deck built and house painted. No other company was as professional and comprehensive as DGS. Luis Fernandez came out and assessed everything and gave us several quotes involving different materials to build our deck. We chose the composite deck material and the deck is just beautiful!We also needed rotted fascia boards and rotted wood siding replaced on various sections of the house including the chimney as part of the painting job. Our chimney is now a statement piece on the back of the house! Just amazing! They did such a thorough job words cannot express the level of craftsman ship this crew brings to a job. They work on your house like it belongs to them!The level of honesty and transparency and overall concern this company has for its customers is amazing! During the process of replacing the rotted fascia they discovered a roof leak. They brought it to ours and Luis’ attention to address the problem. Luis got a roofing guy to come out and fix the problem and the cost was reasonable and affordable.When Luis quotes a job, he knows what he is talking about! Oh, and let me also mention they got the entire job done including the roof issue before the time allotted. We will be using this company for everything we need to have done in the future because they are truly the best!We believe that these guys are angles that were sent to us to help us with a big job that no one else would have done properly. Shout out to Paul, Diane and the whole crew for your amazing service! Thank you DGS!

Tried to purchase a home from their home reselling company (DGS residential) and after initial inspection we realized to took shortcuts in remodeling the house they invested in. After asking them to fix what they deemed to be “minor” problems (Electrical, HVAC, and water drainage), they continued to take shortcuts to fix things. The reinspection showed they tried to do a bootleg grounding of the electrical wiring and did an incomplete job with the water heater. I wasted $2000 on this whole process and had to terminate my contract with them. Don’t bother buying from people like this. They are out to make money and leave problems for the people that buy from them. They have no morals.

I spent weeks looking for contractors to do some remodeling at my home. I eventually was recommended to DGS Contractors. Not only did they communicate and did more than requested, but they also offered the BEST price! The house came out looking AMAZING and their customer service was incredible. We worked with Kirt at DGS to take on a large project, remodeling 3 bathrooms, opening up the living area with a french door, installation of a bar and new hardwood, carpets and a full repaint.Kirt and his team went above and beyond in terms of providing design inputs, pushing back on where some of our ideas would drive cost and were flexible in managing changes that come as part of a large project such as this.We are extremely happy with the results, and that the full project came in around the planned budget given DGS's flexibility in us sourcing some of our materials to help with budgets.

BEWARE : DO NOT BUY ANY HOME FROM DGS Contractors and DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANY CONTRACTING WORK. They almost cost our family our lives. After purchasing a “renovated” home from DGS in April of 2023, everything began to fall apart. Mold left behind the walls, painted floor in the master bathroom that released paint onto our feet whenever water touched the floor, painted cabinets were not primed or sanded and all the paint began to come off during the first week in the house, multiple cabinet doors fell off during the first week and beyond. The WORST part is that their negligence and recklessness caused our entire electrical box to set on fire in our garage, which could have killed our entire family and pets. Two separate electricians have come out and told us it is the worst work they have ever seen in their entire careers and that it was no where near up to code. Our entire house now needs to be rewired and our entire electrical box needs to be replaced. We have had to make other living arrangements as our home is not habitable. We cannot reenter the home until everything is replaced and once the city comes out and signs off that it is safe to live in. I hope none of you make the same mistake we did working with this company. If you’re looking for a good contractor, you need to run as far as you can from DGS Contractors. My daughter and son in law bought a remodeled house from these people. It has been one problem after another. They were give ample opportunity to repair the problems. All they did was put a bandaid over every issue in the home, then saying they were “nice enough” to make repairs. The last straw was when the electrical panel caught fire, risking the lives of my family. They once again neglected to respond in a sensible and compassionate manner. Two independent electricians confirmed they rigged the panel to last at least through sale. They have stolen the excitement of their first home purchase and this will weigh on their conscience, if they have one.Beware of these scammers they belong in prison.Service: Home renovations

I highly recommend DGS Contractors. They installed a covered deck and stairs in 2018 (no issues) and I recently hired them to finish our basement. This project included full plumbing for a below grade bathroom including a tile walk-in shower, electrical, HVAC, framing, drywall, can lights, LVL flooring and carpet install, painting and staining. They completed the project ahead of schedule and on budget. Juan helped us make decisions and provided on-going coordination; he was always available. The team, led by Edgar, was hardworking, efficient and a talented. We had all the 1990s stucco removed from the front of our house and had DGS replace with Hardie Board. They also painted our whole house, put new gutters And round downspouts on the whole house and finished a back screen porch. They were always on time and always professional. They cleaned up well every day. They went over and beyond what we asked for, especially the painters. These two guys always went the extra mile! The communication was the best-all managers and project managers were great at communicating immediately. I HIGHLY recommend them and we will be calling them back for any other job we need done. We had a great experience with DGS Contractors on our deck replacement. Juan came out to give us an estimate and he made a lot of great recommendations to improve the functionality and style of the deck. We were able to meet with the deck crew and their supervisor prior to the install and everyone was very professional and went over all details. The office provided us with regular updates about the project. In addition, Juan was very hands on by dropping by the job site regularly to make sure everything was in order. The job was finished within the time frame they estimated, and the site was neat and clean for the final walk through. It’s been about a month since the project was completed and we are very happy.I also want to add that we had one minor thing that needed to be fixed a few weeks after the project was completed. They came right out wrote up a punch out list and have taken care of everything.It’s very hard to find a good contractor, but we hit a home run with this project. I’ll be reaching out to them for future renovations.

DGS contractors did an outstanding job for us. They were courteous, professional, prompt, and kept my home neat and tidy as they worked. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. We felt that we received a fair price for the work done. The best part is that they were able to match my new hard wood floor to the original perfectly! The installation was seamless. I would recommend them highly!!

I would highly recommend DGS! I have hired DGS for a variety of construction, repair, painting and other projects and I am never disappointed. I love working with Bicet and his crew. I have a high end glass conservatory on my house that needed repair and DGS was the only firm that was willing to identify and resolve the issues out of 10 companies I had look at it. Their prices are in line and they also see life through my eyes as the homeowner and point out and suggest improvements or needed repairs which I appreciate. The last job has been to paint my home exterior. They helped and provided feedback on color selections and samples. Not rushing me but truly wanted us delighted in the finished job. Since our homes are a reflection of who we are its great to know DGS is there and works with us to make them all we want them to be. Simply beautiful! Thank you DGS!

DGS Contractors agreed to renovate our fallen ceiling and paint our living room last month. We set a date after a trip we had planned. There was some confusion about when they would start, but once confirmed for the next day, a crew of two brothers arrived ready to work. It took 3 days and the results are beautiful! Kevin got us started with a reasonable bid, introduced us to Israel and Daniel and left them to their good work. All three were respectful, competent and fast. We will call them again for other work needed on our old house.

DGS did quite an extensive renovation for me. Let me just say, it took me more than a year to write this review because I would get so mad, I could not continue. Let's just leave it at I would not trust them to fix the crack in the wall at the junction of the room extendion they did for me.

Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience with DGS. They came highly recommended but after a gentleman came out to assess the project and provide an estimate I never again heard from them. Three weeks later and multiple phone calls and I have yet to receive a call back or email with an estimate. I'm sure they would have done a great job though. Better luck next time.

We hired this company to replace our roof after a couple of neighbors employed them to construct rear-screened in porches. I have no experience with roofing and now know I should have hired a roofing specialist. After the roof was complete I had another company spot the fact that DGS had not installed a drip-edge, a state code item. I also had my insurance company come out to inspect the roof. The insurance rep said that for the amount of money they provided, DGS should have used a hight quality shingle. I know this is true because many of my neighbors replaced their roofs around the same time because of a major hail storm, and they received the higher grade of shingle. Every one of them. I had to force them to come back and bring the job up to code. More recently, after a major rain event from residual hurricane weather, we had a wet upstairs bathroom floor with water dripping slowly after the rain. Juan the DGS rep I always deal with went up into the attic and declared there is no evidence of a leek because the attic framework was dry. I pointed out that it was now a few days ago and the hot attic would of-course be dry. I insisted that they send someone to check the outside of the roof and seal any vent outlets. That was a month ago, and I have not seen or heard from them. They simply refused to even check the outside. They might be fine for other things but DO NOT use them or roofing!!

We started a large renovation project in October with DGS. Kirt was professional through the entire experience giving us a quote, talking through what we had in mind while giving us recommendations and estimated date of completion. We had a 6’H x 100’L retaining wall built, our old porch and concrete patio removed. They poured a new patio and rebuilt our porch to double its original size while screening in half of it.They met all permit requirements and worked with the county to get everything approved. The cost of the project was fair and what I expected for a project this size. The crews worked through the cold and rain and did a great job. Kirt was in contact with me the entire time during the project. It was completed in the time originally stated and we couldn’t be happier. My wife has stated that the screened in porch was her new favorite room in our house. We will be using DGS for future projects

Juan and his team are top notch. We had a big job and many contractors wouldn't touch it. New windows, new siding, paint, wood rot repair, etc. They had to repair an odd overhang on the back that most contractors wouldn't consider. Just excellent quality work. Thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship. They showed up on time, every day and worked late. Communication with Juan and the crew was fantastic. I can't say enough nice things about them. I'll hire them again any day.

DGS took down our old pergola and deck and rebuilt a beautiful screened-in porch in its place in Midtown. It was about an eight week process. Kirt Cahill and his entire crew was 100% professional. We had a representative come out for a appointment to give us a quote on some projects we were looking to complete on the interior and exterior of our property. It has been two weeks since the representative left and we have not received a quote or even a follow up call/email. I’ve tried calling the company several times and no one picks up or has called me back. Pretty frustrating considering they are supposed to be highly rated. I guess they do not want my business.
