This was my 2nd time calling this team, 1st for a barn door install and this most recent time for a ceiling fan install. The technicians are always friendly, knowledgeable, and remain professional throughout. This ceiling fan was complicated but he stayed diligent until it was right. A bit pricey, but I’ve been pleased with the quality of the work. Would definitely recommend.

My old mailbox was held together with bungee cord. Mr Handyman came and took out the old one and put in the new one. They did a great job, came on time and did it much quicker than I would have managed. It would have taken me all day. They even avoided damaging the shrubbery around the post. I gave them a call to do some work at my retail store. I explained the scope of the project so that they understood it and would be prepared. They came out for the job and didn't have any tools needed for the job, even after I had taken the time to explain what needed to be done. I rescheduled a few weeks later and again stated exactly what needs to be done and that this is a two-man job. The first man shows up a few minutes late (that's acceptable -- I'm not a stickler) but the second man shows up ONE HOUR LATE and so the first man and I were just waiting idly on him. He shows up and changes the price quote to a range outside the budget I clearly stated that I wanted to stay within. So after waiting more than one hour, the job had to be canceled and nothing was done. They didn't even apologize or offer an alternative. They just turned around and left. This business came highly recommended for a drywall project but unfortunately after multiple times rescheduling and poor communication, then ghosting, they failed to uphold their verbal agreement they entered into with us to complete our project. Come to find out they have manning issues and they lack technicians who can handle our project, according to the owner, Jeff. I’m sympathetic to manning issues, however they wasted a month of our time when they could’ve simply advised from the start they didn’t have the capacity to do this project. Their website is misleading if they’re unable to handle a drywall project yet boast that their “skilled team of expert handymen (can) take care of all your repairs and improvements so you don’t have to worry any longer!” After getting an estimate for the exact same project at another Mr. Handyman location, which is TRIPLE the quote Marietta gave, it’s apparent they simply don’t want to honor their own quote for this project. Bad business, possibly illegal (and we’ll be looking into options further with respect to that). Don’t trust their misleading website advertisement, quotes or scheduling promises at this time.

The front stairs to my home were falling apart and desperately needed repair. 15 steps and a landing in total. After calling 8 other places, Mr. Handyman was the only place that got back to me promptly and with a reasonable (and affordable price)! Several places just asked me to provide photos and did their estimate “virtually”), quoted double (or 4x) what Mr. Handyman quoted me at, and the majority didn’t even return my calls!They sent Robert over to check the steps, and he was very friendly, had years and years of experience, and explained everything that needed to be done and answered all my questions. I had a perfect idea of what work he was able to do and how long the job would take. He also gave me a few estimates that were reasonable and honored by his office. Jasmine, and the owner Geoff, at Mr. Handyman (both very nice and professional!) even answered several of my questions regarding their insurance coverage and guarantee on work, putting a lot of my concerns to rest.When my 8am appointment for service came, Robert was early, got to work quickly and by 9am the next morning, the entire job was done…and done so well that it exceeds GA building code.Along the way, Robert answered any questions that I had about the work. Now my stairs are sturdy and don’t feel like a death trap!It was my first time looking for a Handyman service and Robert, Jasmine, and Geoff were very helpful in providing me with the information I needed to make an informed decision. The quality of work done by Robert is top notch and I’m planning to use Mr. Handyman for several more projects around the house! I’ve already set my appointment for power washing my front porch to prep the stairs to be stained and painted in November by Mr. Handyman.To folks reading this review, I understand that it helps to do your own research, but I hope this review accurately describes my experience and how grateful I am for the overall quality of my experience.
