I initially contacted Salesman Jake from Nelson for other projects. But settled for Nelson Exteriors to rebuild our front steps. On project day, the team arrived on time, along with materials, and demo was quick. Project Manager, Jorge arrived and we discussed the process/design of the steps and the team got to work. Throughout the build over 2 days Jorge and myself kept in touch communicating clearly on next steps. I have to say the build went really well. Yes! there was minor rework in a couple areas. However, the Nelson team did a great job correcting those areas. Prior to exterior painting taking place, we received several compliments on the stairs. I also have to thank the Nelson team for hitting our timing milestone. It was key that the stairs were completed that week, as our home was being painted the following week.

Nelson Exteriors were great to work with on replacing the siding, trim, paint, and gutters on our house. The entire process from having the sales person come out to the house, to install and painting went smooth. Their price was extremely competitive with other contractors. Selecting the right contractor to work on our home was very important. After meeting with several we chose Nelson Exteriors. The 'BEST' decision we could have made! Our sales rep. Chris was very professional and understood exactly our goal. Offered some great suggestions that we included in our window replacement project. Installation began exactly as scheduled. Our project manager Alexis expertly coordinated the project from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable and was awesome to work with. The installation team removed the old windows and installed the new ones with precision, care and meticulous attention to detail! They were followed by the painting team who laid a perfect finish to the windows' trim inside and out. Nelson Exteriors made this the BEST experience anyone could ask for!

We had our house done from roof to siding. Carpenters that removed the old siding and stucco front were an amazing group of men. Efficient and pleasant. Removed 2 back windows and a door to put in a sliding door. It's awesome. It took me until the last day to pick the paint color. It looks perfect. New garage lights were installed and the highlight of the project, beautiful stone front entrance. Salesman Chris Ray and Project manager Jorge were extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and Jorge was very understanding. Great job to all involved! Next is to to some landscaping.

My family and I hired Nelson exteriors to redo our deck. It's a basic rectangle deck with two sets of stairs at each end. It was a simple project that Chris, the sales guy pitched to us that would be absolutely no problem. We were shown pictures and we were sold. He also stated that our deck would be complete by the end of july 2023. That was not the case. We chose Nelson exteriors because we were wanting to use their services for other exterior work for our house but unfortunately we will not be using their services in the future. I do want to mention that service was great in the beginning. The ladies(I can't remember their names) I spoke with in the office were great at keeping me updated on when the crew would actually come out to start the project. Things were going good but then one of the builders brought their wife and kid to play in my back yard. My mother in law works from home and informed me she saw the kid almost fall in the pool via our security camera. When the project was "complete" the first time, it looked good from far away but there were a lot of misaligned boards, boards not cut straight, the railings had gaps in between them, nothing was flush, there were screws sticking out of the wood railings, and also chunks of wood missing and part of my actual house exterior missing. This was not anything like the decks in the pictures we were shown. It was a shock to me when they told me the project was complete because it still looked unfinished. Because we chose composite, we were told that they had to leave the gaps because the composite expands. I'm not sure if this is true but nothing ever came together like they said it would. They eventually came out two more times to try and make it right but after the 3rd time, my husband and I were so disappointed with the craftsmanship, that we just paid them and left it at that. We're not confrontational people and we are well aware that we got ripped off. Their people did the work, although they lacked pride in their work, they still should get paid. Unfortunately for us, we now have to find someone else to complete this project and spend thousands more. Overall they are nice people and may be good at exterior work, but if you are looking for a nice quality, good craftsmanship deck, find someone else.

As a result, I have since engaged them on 2 more repair & maintenance projects at the residence. Nelson Exteriors carried out 3 projects for us and did not bill us until all three jobs were finished to our satisfaction. Their workers were highly skilled, efficient and responsive to our needs. Our neighbors are full of compliments!First, they replaced our rotting siding with Hardie Board siding (30 year warranty). They replaced 4 old windows with quality new vinyl windows. To give us light in our dining room the salesman, Ryan O'Connor, ordered 3 vinyl windows made in one unit with a half round window on top. The crew expertly cut a new space in our exterior wall for this beautiful new natural light source!Second, Nelson's painting crew used 4 professionally chosen colors that we agreed on to make our house look new again!Third, their gutter crew put up new bronze gutters with leaf guards to coordinate with our bronze doors and shutters. They carefully evaluated exactly what we needed for new downspouts. The result is an attractive, functional gutter system.We now look forward to many enjoyable years of living in our home with less stress over maintenance. Thank you Nelson Exteriors! They did a fantastic job replacing the rotting cedar siding with Hardie Plank. They also reframed the chimney where rot had set in. The did a great job with installing shingles and flashing where there should have been in the first place. Very good attention to detail on the painting and finishing work.

Beginning with Ryan who delinquently worked within my budget, we came in underbudget. Jorge de Angel, the contractor, was on site, easy to reach by phone, and took care of every concern throughout the project. Alex, the on-site lead painter, and his crew took care of painting the house, trim, shutters garage doors, deck screened porch and 16x20 art studio. They were on time and worked through the day until 6pm. Totally satisfied with our experience using Nelson Exteriors for our home renovation. We replaced our siding with Hardiplank, and had a roof installed over half of our deck, and a double door to our basement replaced. It took a couple of weeks to get some of the building supplies , which caused the project to coincide with a previously planned cruise. No problem for Nelson, they scheduled work around us. Later, we had to go to California for a week for a family medical reason. They gladly scheduled around us once again. EVERYONE we had contact with was incredible. We interviewed 3 companies- Jake Mifsud came to visit us, and we felt at ease immediately. He supplied us with detailed scope of the work that we wanted done. My husband and I were very pleased with our experience with Nelson Exteriors. We needed new doors, new gutters/leaf guards, and fresh exterior paint. Rob’s price quote was extremely reasonable in comparison to other quotes we obtained. He was also very professional, kind, and hard working. In terms of execution, the crew did an excellent job, as did the project manager (Andrew). The job was finished very well and in a timely fashion. The process was not stressful for us at all, and the house looks beautiful. We had a few minor issues that needed to be handled at the very end (like one of our porch lights didn’t work and a weather strip needed to be reattached). I had a project that included siding and trim repairs, new roof, gutters, decking, exterior door replacement, and paint. Everything was completed to my satisfaction. Every item I nitpicked and pointed out was addressed. It's exceedingly difficult for me to get out of work without taking an entire day off, but they worked around my schedule and still communicated with me regularly. The one gripe i did have I let the project manager know, and he went above and beyond to address it. Like most people, I have a few home repair war stories, but not with these guys. My house looks great. I would recommend this company to friends and family and will definitely give them a call if and when I need work done in the future.

Nelson Exteriors did a partial re-siding and a full exterior paint job to my old, full cedar shake sided house. I couldn't be happier with the results and service everyone on their team provided! It was a large job with multiple moving parts and they were able to keep everything in-order and pay attention to the small details.
