I’ve used them multiple times. The first call was for a new door. I was quoted a price and after install the price increased. The second time was to repair a door. After repair, the door wouldn’t fully shut and we found the latch wasn’t lined up. We fixed it ourselves. The third call we asked for a quote on a garage door repair and were told it needed to be replaced. The price was too high so we did not hire them. The fourth call was to install a toilet. They had the appointment set and called to come early. I told them no because I was at work and had to leave early to make the original appointment. I asked them to keep it at the original time. They still came 45 minutes early. I was not home yet and no one called me. I waited 3hrs with no updates. I finally looked at my camera and realized they had come and gone with no communication. I will not use this company again.

Hired him to remodel my shower. Kept sending inexperienced workers out. Finally after months we got fed up and told him we wanted our money back and to stop all construction. We had to sue him to get our money back.

It is a pleasure to share my experience with this business. I needed to renovate a bathroom and had difficulty finding a contractor to take on the challenge. I contacted Mr. Handyman and met their Technician Valdir. He proved to be a God send and a master craftsman. He did everything from demolition to designing! On the last day he had some help, but oversaw the project "miracle." There are many complimentary words that I could add about his skills and professionalism, but I think you have the picture. His supervisor should be thanked for checking on the work and being friendly with me.

Mr. Handyman started our shower remodeling in January 2022 with a quite of$2678.00 we ended up paying $5k and shower wasnt finished until april. We had nothing but issues with them from day one. The worker did not do a rough in so the plumbing was not correct, the shower was not shimmed so the walls were not square or plum, the drain was installed higher than the floor, the drain was broken so water poured into the ceiling of the first floor and the grout just chipped out the floor leaving holes down to the tile base. Today is Sept 22nd of 2022 and I'm regrouting the shower because the grout is chipping out again. The grout that is popping out has the feel and consistency of chalk. Terrible work do not use this company. If for some reason you end up using them take pictures of everything before and after. The owner will also tell you about how much and how many experience his team has, I'm not sure what the experience is in but it not remodeling or showers.Services: Remodeling, Shower repair

Hired them to install some drywall, mud some ceilings, and on a whim, mount a sink for us. The guy left dust EVERYWHERE (while sitting in his car for 20 minutes waiting for stuff to dry rather than cleaning up after himself)After he left I go to wash my hands and water starts pouring out of the cabinet. I open the cabinet and the pipe is pulled out from the wall. I call them and they say the technician “said he didn’t break it” so they’re not going to fix it. After some back and forth they agree to come out and fix it for free. When they get here the owner says it was already broken before his handyman got here, but they’ll fix it for another $200.Complete rip off, do not use them. Their technicians are lazy and don’t take responsibility for their mistakes, and the owner tried to use his technician’s mistake to get more money from us. Very disappointed

I hired this company based off of their good reviews and quickness that they could come out there sooner than any other company as I needed the job completed ASAP. However, it was one of the worst decisions I EVER made. The first day on the job, Joel was going to put down floor in the bathroom, hook up the plumbing, and put in the kitchen counter top. The work that was done was very poor. Pictures included. First off the floor in the bathroom, had a small section where the water line goes that is pieced together. If water enters in, the whole floor will be damaged. Also where the bathroom sink is, there was a piece of flooring that was not even laid down (Picture included). Lastly, in the bathroom floor there were pieces not even attached. I put a piece of paper underneath to show. (picture included). Next lets move to the kitchen. Countertop was not put on evenly, one side was longer than the other (pictures included). What was worse than that, is the plumbing was not hooked up correctly so there was severe water damage in my brand new cabinets (pictures included). So I called the company, and they said that they would send someone to fix the work. I asked if they were going to charge me to fix the work and Liz the receptionist, said she would ask the owner. I stated to her that I should not have to pay for work that was not done correctly the first time. The owner said that they would come out and fix it for free. The fact that she had to check to see if they were going to charge me again was absolutely ridiculous. Then, Bryan was sent out, he stated that he fixed the water damage in kitchen and floor in bathroom. However, I come to take a look at the work that he did, and there was still a leak in the kitchen sink. (picture included) and also the one spot by the water line and part of the floor in the bathroom was still showing. Also where the sink was installed from the first time, had glue all around it. (picture included). I told company to fix that on the second visit as well. However, they did not. I had to call them a third time. At that point, I requested my money back because, if they cant fix the job after two times, what is the point. The owner refused to give me my money back. Stated that they would come out a third time, to get the job right. They sent Bryan again and he did clean off the glue on the sink, and fix blank spot in the bathroom. However, he did not replace the flooring by the water line in the bathroom so it still looks like the picture included in the review. I gave up at this point. On a side not, my mom had opened up the home for Bryan for that third visit and Bryan is going to make a snippy comment to my mom that he should not even be here right now. He already did what he needed to do. As you can see by the photos, clearly he did not. I do not appreciate this attitude towards my mom. If he wanted to make some comments or complaints they needed to be directed to me, not my 71 year old mother. It took weeks to fix what was wrong the first time. Please take my word of advice and hire another company. Do not waste your time or money like I did.

James Kersey was the handyman who repaired drywall and installed barriers on my back porch. James' work was great quality and he provided excellent suggestions that resulted in a better finished product than my original plans. I would highly recommend James in particular for work that anyone needs.Updating my review to include recent work that was done by Valdir. He was able to get all of my work done (wood siding repair/replacement + painting, interior wall painting) done well and faster than originally estimated. ***WAY overpriced, beware***I was told on the phone there was no job minimum however, there is in fact a $206 job minimum. I was quoted $350 to patch/paint two small quarter size areas on my walls. We had our whole house painted for this price with a different business! Also, the technicians do not carry basic materials on their van so they charge you the time it takes them to go to the store to buy the items (estimated an hour for him to get a paint brush at a store 5 minutes away). You would assume a handyman would have nails and paint brushes on their van. Then, the quote I received to replace 5 baseboards was $860. I have another quote from a different business for $475 to do BOTH painting and baseboard replacements. I highly do not recommend using this overpriced company. They receive $76 per estimate if you choose not to go with their price gouging estimate so they make money no matter what. Please stay away and use someone else who is fairly priced.

This was our first time using Mr. Handyman of Greater Savannah. We were so impressed by the professional manner and work of Valdir. He was on time, evaluated the problem, and gave us an estimate. After agreeing he went and picked up what was needed to do the job. He arrived back, got to work and did not stop until the job was completed. We could not have been better pleased. We had an AC leak in our attic that damaged the ceiling and a portion of a wall in the guest room. After meeting with the insurance adjuster, Mr. Handyman was our first call for the repairs! Jason, our technician, was prompt, communicative, professional, and thorough. We were also pleasantly surprised at the cost, which was conveyed to us and discussed ahead of time.A contractor who shows up when they say they will and stays until the job is complete is rare, and we felt very fortunate to have been able to work with Jason. Do not use this company if you have any problems with your central AC system. The tech that was sent didn't fix the drainage system from the AC, he made it worse. He claim to have unclogged the drain by pouring AC fluid down the drain, then leveled out the AC water pan down to" Normal level".I was charged emergency services fee because it was not a scheduled call. Water was still dripping down from the bathroom vent. He told my that the attic floor should dry within a week, and he could come back to fix the cracked ceiling in my other bathroom. I had to call the next day for an emergency AC service because the water was dripping down worse through the vent in my bathroom and the crack in the other bathroom was worse and water was dripping down from that ceiling as well. Thankfully a professional HVAC company responded and said the drain was extremely backed up water was everywhere in the attic, then the ceiling with the crack collapsed. They cleared the drain and the pan is empty. They're repairing the drain and the restoration company responded and is in the process of repairing my ceiling once the machines dries the ceilings. A mess, but real technicians are fixing it. 436.00 went down the drain😡🤬

The work was ok but is was not professional at all. The technician doing the work did not read and know what he was supposed to be doing while he was on the job. I had to tell him what to do in order to finish all the things he was supposed to do. He would only do one task a day and leave early and not complete any of his work. The job was for three days. He ended up at my house an extra day putting me in a bind to have to put things I needed to do in hold. The owner still wanted to charge me the full amount of material even after I bought most of the materials for the job myself. They did not want to talk about the price or compromise on anything. Do not use this service if you do not want to be over charged for them not completing the work on time and charging you for materials they did not buy.Service: Home maintenance & repairs
