They built a beautiful new house for me. They were very responsive to budgetary issues and to any other concern I raised. They always took my phone calls and answered all my questions. I can’t imagine having built my house with anyone else.I saw a recent unfavorable review of Eric Edwards Construction that was completely inconsistent with my experience and I want to add a comment to my review. When I was looking for a contractor to build my home, I contacted about 15 different contractors looking for someone to build my house. Of all the contractors I contacted, Chrisi Edwards was the only one who called me back, took my inquiry seriously, and was willing to review my plans and move forward with my project. Without her diligence, I might still be waiting for my home to be built.Services: New construction services, Home building

Called Eric out to give me an Estimate after he came recommended by a developer in the local area. He came out looked around and did some measurements. He left the property and told me he would get back with me in about a week. This was is April of 2023. After many attempts to contact him again about the estimate I kept getting the runaround from the lady in the office. The last couple of times I was told Eric was on vacation and he would get my estimate to me when he returned. 4 weeks later I got the same message from the lady in the office. I called today August 14, 2023 and got an answer like this. “ we can’t give you an estimate right now so we will have to turn the job down” I was told I would have an estimate by the end of April of this year. This home Builder isn’t as dependable as he has been recommended. I would stay clear of this company. This shows me that this builder isn’t reliable and highly likely to take advantage of his potential Clients. Hope this helps the next individual that looks to use this company. Watch out and not use someone that you can’t trust.The budget I gave you could easily build another house on another property. If your prices are higher than that then I wouldn’t have called you in the first place. The contractor that came out said that he would get me a quote within a 2 week time slot. Which I never received. I asked for a current quote at the time not for a future time. The guy you sent out never delivered or even returned a call. I was put off several times after calling 4-5 times each month. My mother in law was with me and she has been following this status as well. That is a bad reflection in your company that you didn’t follow through or have common courtesy to even return a call. Is that what a customer can expect, to be ghosted?.I was NEVER told that you couldn’t do it, that is why I kept calling. Common courtesy of returning a call or even letting us know you couldn’t give a quote, or didn’t want the job- for whatever reason would have been the professional norm and expected. I wasn’t told until my last phone call that you wouldn’t give me a quote and you refused the job. I’m not sure why I would have continued to call and ask about the status of a quote if I had already been told you wouldn’t be able to do the job. I am not upset that you can’t do or don’t want the job. That’s ok. I completely understand from a business stand point, but I was kept on the line for in excess of 2 months. That is the part that is frustrating. Maybe you are more customer oriented with clients that follow through with, but those like myself that you leave hanging are left with a bad impression.

I’m a sales rep for one of the biggest construction equipment manufacturers in the world and his company happens to be in my territory. Every time I am visiting one of my clients in the area, they always have some of my gear on a Eric Edwards Construction site. I’m so impressed with their attention to detail and craftsmanship that I have asked them to give me an estimate on building my next home. Eric is talented and down earth. You can’t go wrong. Whether a your project is big or small I’d recommend EEC. It’s a no brainer.
