I just started walking after knee surgery and I went in through the nursery. I always enjoy the variety of flowers and veggies. The employees walked me through the store to make sure I was safe and helped me find the product I needed. That's why I keep coming back. I'm very appreciative.

Was looking for a battery powered chainsaw to use around the house. First guy had no idea what selections were available. We almost went with a gas powered one but after the man walked off I found a complete set [saw, battery, charger] for 150 bucks. Went back on a different day for a few more items and had better luck with the guy pictured. He showed me where the items were and helped a lot.Good job sir! Thank you!

Great place to get things for your home. IF YOU CAN FIND WHAT YOU NEED.... Only thing that upsets me with the Home Depot in Rome is you can NEVER hardly find anyone to help you. If you can't find something or if you got a question about a project your working on and they have no idea, with the question pertaining to wood or a tool ect. Most of the time I would rather drive all the way across town to Lowe's so I can actually get first, friendly staff second, someone willing to help me not just pass me on to the next and third, have just a little knowledge of things you work with or around everyday.

I was just going in for my plants fix. I was pleasantly surprised to find their assortment. Their houseplants were looking a wee bit weak but It was a hot day & I'm pretty sure a nice drink of water would have picked them up. The sales associates were very friendly and helpful. I will be back!

Went to the Rome , Ga. Home Depot on July 19 and needed assistance for a new electric hot water heater and was greeted by MR. Steven Bailey ! Steven was very helpful and provided great input on the hot water heaters we looked at and then eventually purchased on this afternoon! Steven was very professional and even provided timely information on the parts we would need that would help install this hot water heater in our house! I been in sales for most my life and Steven sure was one of the best I have ever seen at his job !Great Job Steven !

I recently visited Home Depot (Rome, Ga.). I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Mike/ Mrs. Tera at the Pro- Desk. They went above and beyond to help me find the composite decking I was searching for. I was very impressed with the both of them. Also, they showed a lot of patience with me. Great doing business at the Home Depot (Rome, Ga.).

Had covid-19 and was beyond my quarantine days, but tried the curbside pickup to play it safe anyway. They had my order ready before I could get logged out of my account good! Got a load of deck boards and only one was unusable, which is better than I usually do, so I was impressed. Kinda hurt my sense of shilvary and manhood to have a woman load my truck with lumber and me not help, but it is what it is, and she did a great job!

Don't come here if you're in a hurry and need assistance. It may take time to get noticed and once you do receive help locating items be prepared to walk from one end of the story to another several times. Home Depot is huge and they have everything you could ever need when it comes to repairing or building anything. You can also rent equipment.

Please see Jeanette in Appliances if you have a need. She helped us in so many ways today 3.12.2023. We ended up buying a stove and only went in for a washing machine. She was very friendly and helpful.. she went above and beyond to take care of us. Will definitely be back!

Worked for Home Depot many years ago but, was disappointed when I found Tractor Supply in town to beat them up on prices. Bernie complained awhile back that the employees are not working as hard but, I saw and employee having to log the work he did through a hand held device. When I worked for them we did not even need spotters much less having to log the work preformed. Way to bog your employees down with useless task. Maybe find out what your customers want and keep it in stock with a friendly relationship with them so you can listen to them as you did in the past. My store sales went down 30% when the Arbor Place Mall and Lowes came to town but, the department I worked in only went down 8 % . I listened. Sometimes the latest and greatest technology zapps personal care right out of the market place. By the way Bernie is a very personable man and I loved it when he was the CEO. It felt like family

If you are buying lumber & need it cut, Home Depot will do it without whining or lying by saying their saw is broken like Lowes employees do. Also, Home Depot will load your bags of soil & mulch without cussing & breaking things in your vehicle like Lowes did me. The older man in Gardens is super friendly. I believe he may be the garden manager. Ususally Home Depot has good customer service. The only problem we have ever had was the short-brown haired woman in windows who has no idea what she is doing. She ordered our custom storm windows wrong size and tried to blame us, despite our paperwork from Home Depot having precise measurements. The manager cleared it up for us.

Absolutely awful experience with the rental department. Whoever was working on 3/4/23 was the rudest person ever. The equipment doesn’t work, but when you take it to let them know it doesn’t work, they still charge you. And then charge more for a cleaning fee! We were able to dig 2 feet into our water line until it stopped working, then another $100 for cleaning. How am I supposed to clean it when the water is off?!?!

I am a local carpenter, I build storage buildings the way people want them built. For several years I would always buy my material at Lowes in West Rome because it's close to where I live. Lowes was completely out of some material I was needing, so I went to Home Depot on Hicks Drive. Wow, I now realize that I should have been going to Home Depot all along. They have the very best building material, plywood, lumber, anything I needed. They have better material than Lowes. At Lowes I was always picking through the lumber trying to find some decent wood, most was culls. At Home Depot all of the wood is top notch. At Lowes the guys that work in lumber will run and hide when they see you coming, they hate helping to load the lumber. At Home Depot the guys run over each other trying to help you. I will get all of my material from Home Depot from now on, it's well worth the extra miles.

You can never find anyone to help you and when you do, they tell you they never had the item. Like this past weekend, we went to get a dryer belt. I asked the lady in housewares, she told me they never carried dryer belts. I have bought dryer belts there before.

I always go to Lowes only because it's closer to home but I really like this store. The customer service here is always friendly and willing to help and they don't have to be tracked down. Worth the extra drive for sure. Much cleaner and better organized with more help in each department.

Ok. So, I'm a Home Depot groupie. I love this store. I always find everything I need for my projects at a mostly reasonable price. Although, while the power tools are a bit pricey, they are of good quality and they offer excellent warranties on them. I did a whole-house remodel a bit ago and didn't have to run all over town to fill my supply list. I purchased everything from nails to windows to landscaping and didn't use all of the allotted budget.

I had to get parts to fix a water line. They usually have what I need so it's a no brainer not go there. I also wanted to upgrade some plant beds so I bought some flowers and mulch.

Usually have what I need at a reasonable price. Sometimes cheaper than "Wally". Associates are polite and helpful. Never see any "Special Buys" on the floor like other Home Depot stores. That's the reason for only 3 stars.
