Gary came out and did roof maintenance and removed two old satellite dishes and sealed the roof. He was so great to work with. I was concerned after recent storms and he came right out and checked out my roof.He is courteous, reasonably priced and just a really great guy who does a great job and takes care of his customers. Gary Smith Roofing just put a new metal roof on our house, and I love it! The whole experience couldn't have been better. They were very professional, accurate with measurements, careful with everything around the house, kept us informed of their progress, made sure we were happy with what they were doing at all times, & cleaned up all the debris before leaving. They were very friendly & honest. On top of all that, they are a local business. We need to use our local people whenever possible. These people will make you proud that you chose them. Gary did a wonderful job on my roof. He was very professional and punctual, when he said he would be at my house at 7:30 he was there on time and ready to work. He had the materials delivered the day before just as he said he would. He kept me updated on what he was doing through the whole process. My entire experience was positive, easy and seamless. From the initial call to the completion of the work, I did not have to worry. Gary works fast and is very good at what he does. Our roof has steep pitches and some complex intersections so I was very impressed. Ten out of ten would recommend.

Gary Smith Roofing saved the day at our house. They come out and give an estimate on our roof, the estimate was $3,000 less than the other estimates. Gary came and gave me some information about what I needed to fix a couple of leaks that the previous roofer caused. The roof will eventually need replacement, but for now, getting these leaks stopped is most important. Best price of 3 separate quotes. Started first thing in the morning. Tore off old roofing, laid synthetic felt, and roofed the house. Had everything cleaned up like they’d never been there and were done before 2:00. I would highly recommend Gary Smith Roofing!

Terrible job. Didn't finish. Roof not screwed down so panels flap in the wind and insulation blows out of the attic. Smith must use Reputation Defenders to have this many positive reviews. I've had to hire a real roofer to finish his work.

We just had a roof repair on one property that stopped a complicated leaking issue that has been attempted by 3 contractors over past 8 years! Rain last week- no Leak!!!He just did another complete roof replacement for us this week. Gary Smith has done jobs for us for 20 years because he’s easy to work with and gets back to you immediately. We get quality shingles and have never had to call him back for a repair on any of those he’s installed. He makes repairs quickly when we’ve had tree limb damage, etc. I like the fact that he doesn’t leave us waiting and our property is protected! Highly recommend his Roofing Company! Gary came to my house with shingles that I picked out but the color wasn't good when he laid out a few on the roof for me to look at. He wanted me to be happy so he returned those shingles and let me pick out another color. He later returned and installed the new shingles and did a wonderful job. Cleanup was very well done and he said he would come back if I needed any changes or any other things done to the roof. He was very nice and professional. Gary Smith Roofing put a new roof on my house in early January 2023. My old roof had defective, discontinued shingles and it leaked around my chimney stack. The new roof that Gary built is sound, beautiful, and the leaking problem is gone. The major wind and rain storm a week after roof installation was a great test of the integrity of the new roof, and it passed with flying colors.

I called Gary on a thursday with a leak in my roof and he came the same day to help me. As he looked at my roof he saw several issues and informed me that a new roof was needed. Gary took the time to meet with my insurance adjuster and worked with my insurance company accepting the payment they allowed. My new roof was installed just few days later and I couldn't be happier. My new roof looks amazing!! Gary and his crew showed up each day on time, they were so clean by cleaning up each day, my flowers and exterior decor was handled professionally and put back in place with no damage or debri left anywhere. I am a contractor, and have was looking to get a new roof on my home. Being the industry and knowing what to avoid, actually made the choice very clear. I could definitely find a company to do the work cheaper, but quality and cost has a balance. I knew that I needed a company that could give me the peace of mind that the work was done right. I wouldn't have to manage the project myself climb on the roof to ensure it was installed properly. Gary Smith Roofing provided the value that I needed. Their pricing is very competitive, but the peace of mind and installation was superior.After everything was coordinated the timing for the installation, the communication remained continuous. We had a couple of rain delays, but I was kept informed the entire time. On the morning of the installation, the crew showed up around 7AM and started prepping the site. The crew chief asked if I had any questions regarding the work, and let me he would be available for any questions during the install. Tarps were laid neatly around the entire yard, and the guys started the tear-off.I had informed my wife that she should expect a significant number of the plants to be crushed due to the amount of weight that would be coming off of the house. I was sure the crew would be cautious, but I new thousands of pounds of shingles were getting ready to drop from the roof. It was during this portion of the work, where I witnessed something that I had never experienced before during a roof replacement. I don't recall a single plant surround my home being crushed during the removal. I couldn't even see indications that any shingles had landed in the flower beds. 5000 square feet of shingles were removed from my home and yard in less than four hours, and no plants were destroyed. I know there is no way to guarantee that on every install, nor was that an expectation that I had coming into the project.As I walked around the home a couple of times during the day, I remained impressed with the craftsmanship, accuracy, and professionalism of the entire crew. I found myself just watching and listening to the rhythm of the installation. The crew was as efficient as I had ever seen. Growing up in roofing and continuing in the construction industry, I have a tough time relaxing when it comes to construction on my own home. Gary Smith roofing allowed me to do that, and the peace of mind that gained during the installation was invaluable. I would recommend this company to anyone.And for my last note: It has been several months since the installation, and I have only been able to find 4 nails on the property. This includes the debris that typically is washed through the downspouts after the first rain. Great work to the entire crew. My house is waterproof, my pets and children are safe to play in our yard, and I have the peace of mind knowing I received the right value for our project.Service: Roof installation

I have had great service with Gary Smith Roofing. I have used them on several projects of mine and I am always pleased with their work. They provide free estimates and go over project details of what will be needed to complete the job. I had them come out for an emergency job on one of my projects. These guys actually worked in the rain putting up tarps across the roof to keep the water from flooding that house. When the storm passed, they came back out to perform the permanent repair. I had to hire a real roofing company to do the job I paid Gary to do. He told me he had to repair part of the roof and charged me $1,000. When the real roofers looked at the area that was supposed to be repaired they said that it was all original wood and that there was no need to replace it. It was just a scam to steal money from me. There were a lot of negative reviews on Yelp about Smith Roofing. Looks like Gary paid a company to remove negative comments and write fake positive ones.
