I have used Cooling Hawaii twice in the past few months. First time for a line repair and second for maintenance. Diego repaired / serviced my system efficiently. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and made recommendations for future. They were able to accommodate me on short notice. Cody who schedules the appointments is very friendly as well and really made it happen for my repair to get done right away. Highly Recommend this company.

Cooling Hawaii are true professionals who respond to my units' service needs on a timely basis. They are also very transparent with their pricing and do not surprise you with hidden costs. I also love that they document everything they do with photos and have a dispatcher for urgent/emergency needs. They utilize modern tools (e.g. automatic text messages) to keep us owners apprised on the status of their jobs at all times. I work for a company where our refrigeration and ice production is critical to our everyday operations.We recently had one of the ice machines go down and Cooling Hawaii’s Jenna and Victor did a fantastic job helping us get the machine back into service. They were able to send a technician the same day. he was very nice and knowledgeable. I was in desperate need of AC repair and Cooling Hawaii came to the rescue when another company cancelled on me. Victor arrived on time, was kind, courteous, professional, and he got to work right away figuring out what the issue was and fixing it. He also did a great job of explaining everything to me and showed me pictures of what was causing the problem, in the attic portion of the AC unit. Cooling Hawaii so very responsive at all levels of service, from the person who answered the phone to the technician to the follow up all along the way. My commercial AC unit at my business started leaking. I called Cooling Hawaii. They scheduled me within days at a time of my choosing, and then they were able to actually come a day earlier to complete the service, which helped me a lot as a business owner. They texted and emailed me a confirmation, which I appreciated. They sent me a text of the technician so I would know who was coming to service my unit, which gave me peace of mind. My technician, Victor, was kind and professional from minute one until the last minute, and gave me good information about scheduling further service to keep the unit maintained. He also cleaned up my area so nicely after he was done, which I greatly appreciated. Cooling Hawaii provided an online payable invoice which was quick and easy and I received my receipt immediately, which keeps my bookkeeping up to date. I've recommended Cooling Hawaii to my clients over the years for installation of new AC systems, but haven't had the opportunity to personally use their maintenance services up until this past year. Just like with the installs, the regular maintenance service has been outstanding! Victor went above and beyond to troubleshoot a filter issue on my central AC unit, resolving it by building a custom filter himself and coming back to install it free of charge. On time for every maintenance appointment and I love the text notifications that my technician is on the way. I’ve changed my review score from 1 to 3 after Cooling Hawaii sent one of their chief technicians to my property who immediately resolved the issue.It would be 5, if it they didn’t make me boil for months in my new house with new ACs that didn’t work.My initial review dated 1.5 years ago was:——I paid them $30,000+ for installing several ACs at my home. It’s been almost a year and they still haven’t completed the job!If they owe you a job, prepare:1. They will never pick up your calls.2. They rarely reply to anything.3. They can send a guy to you, but he won’t fix anything. And then they will just postpone the solution to the next week. And then to the next week, and so on!Their business works like that:- They take the advance payments from you and promise you a warranty- They put ACs- If those ACs start leaking or blowing hot air, they abandon you and focus on getting money from the new clients. Forget about the warranty and client service.“We can’t make everyone happy” - that’s what their technician said when I asked him why our AC is still not working in almost a year after we paid for it!
