Your five star experience starts with your call to the office. Pam answers the call and is very pleasant and engaging. She understood my somewhat unique install need and told me that the owner Jeremy was expected back shortly and would get back to me. Within an hour I received a call back. Jeremy was very accommodating, he had a person come out the next day to look at my install and the work was completed within a week. The technician was very competent, providing me with explanations of what he was doing along the way. Jeremy has recently taken over the Done-Right business and based on my experience is continuing the high quality, honest and fair practices. I highly recommend.

Eric and his crew are superb. We had them install air conditioning in our fairly large, nine-year-old home. Eric took the time to thoroughly evaluate our needs, submitted a proposal and timeline and answered the multitude of questions we directed to him. He started and ended the job on time. Throughout the process he kept us fully informed. His crew were friendly and efficient. Any of our requests or questions were dealt with immediately. Eric was on-site working on the project, then followed-up at its conclusion to assure everything was done fully and completely. Having a company's owner actually that involved is a tremendous plus. Impressive from start to finish. Eric and his crew showed up promptly on time when they would. They treated my home as if it was there own. There was one unexpected problem that arose during the installation, and his crew handled it and did not charge me a penny extra, even though I offered to pay extra as the problem fell outside their scope of work.The new system works fantastic. I could not be happier with it. I am confident my indoor air will be cleaner and I am confident that Eric and his crew will stand by their work and come back if necessary. Done-Right just completed replacing my 21 year old central AC. A friend recommend using this company. I decided to call after already receiving 2 estimates. I left a message for Joe to call me to schedule an estimate appointment. He called me back in a timely response. Maui is a small community and I ended up knowing Joe. Ben and Joe came to my house to provide an estimate. They were very thorough on the scope of work and provided details on the brand/model of AC unit. Unlike the other two companies, I was provided a lot of information to make a decision. Although the cost estimate was higher, I felt comfortable with the highly rated AC unit they installed and the professional install Ben, Colton, Kaleo, and their team performed. The Daikin central AC unit they installed is even quieter than a split AC unit. It's much more energy efficient and I look forward to lowering my electric bill drastically. I was always updated with the scheduling of the install and was scheduled and completed sooner than the other companies would have scheduled. I highly recommend Done-Right Air Conditioning.

We’ve had issues with our A/C system for months and a friend recommended “Done Right.” Three amazing things happened with the first call, someone answered by the second ring, they quickly scheduled a service technician, and they emailed us a confirmation and service agreement within minutes.We had a super old system and major work was needed. Had Daikin mini split installed in my condo in Wailuku. I had bids from two other name major companies here on island and not only was Done Right the cheapest they did a great job! Colton and Kaleo were very professional and courteous. The install was smooth with no issues. Would recommend Done Right to others and would use again for sure.

When I decided to upgrade my AC, I tried to contact the AC company that had been servicing my AC for a number of years but they did not respond for months. They finally responded and met me at my place, and proceeded to tell me how he he would have to cut openings in the internal and external walls to run new lines and drains, etc., etc., and a lot of what ifs, maybe this, or that. He never sent me a quote!My AOAO GM recommended a call to Eric Roberts at DoneRight. There was a heatwave going on last summer, and he was extremely busy, but somehow made time to talk to me. Needless to say, that led to me getting a new AC installed by DoneRight a few months later. This is a long list of why he and his team are awesome, and I would recommend him without hesitation:1. Made time to meet with me despite having a very busy schedule.2. Showed up on time, every time.3. Responds to my email or phone calls.4. Looked at my unit with a lot of prior experience because he had done similar installations before, and knew exactly where all of the coolant lines and power cables were. He was also knew about the problems that were common to my building, and how to solve them. We went into the basement and looked at where all of the existing lines were, and how it would be replaced without cutting holes in walls, etc. Very knowledgeable about my building, and it showed when he did the installation.5. He is very knowledgeable about the new AC units, pros/cons etc. We talked about the problems that I had with my old system and how the new systems, as well as how they are installed would fix the problems. He spent about 2 hours talking to me about my building, the new equipment, the installation process, and other concerns that I had.6. He is the only AC person on Maui that has given me what I consider the straight scoop. I feel that the others weren't very credible, but Eric and his team seem very knowledgeable and puts customer satisfaction first.7. Eric sent me the quote, we spoke a few times to clarify a few things, and I moved ahead to schedule the install.The installation went exactly as described, no surprises:1. Eric's team showed up on Monday at 9am sharp, as communicated previously. By noon the old equipment was out and they were starting to prep for the installation. They were clean, very clean!2. First they ran the coolant lines from the outside pad, under the building and into the basement, and from there up into my home to be later connected.3. Next, they hand crafted the insulated ducts. I have not seen this level of workmanship and attention to detail on the islands before. Everything was crafted to be serviceable at a future time. Drain lines could be purged, air handlers could be serviced, even replaced without tearing open the ceilings again. (My old system had drain lines that clogged frequently, could not be cleaned easily, and the air handlers were not even accessible through the service doors.)4. The split system, the ducts, the lines and the controllers were then hooked up and the system charged up with refrigerant. The system was running by Wednesday night.5. Thursday, the sheetrock ceilings were replaced.6. Friday, the doorswitches were installed and tested out. Job completed.Post installation:Eric is great about following up with things. He came back the next week to gecko proof the electronics in the compressor, which is a good thing for Maui. He also spent some additional time with me to answer questions that I had, now that I had some time to live with the new system. Most AC people in Maui never follow up and will disappear.Included is a really solid warranty from Eric, and the equipment manufacturer, inspection visits, and detailed maintenance checks.Recommendation:Before going with someone else, you must talk to Eric and compare the difference.

We needed to replace our broken, irreparable by 2 different companies, Kapalua Bay unit air conditioning units (3). This was in July, the middle of the high rental season and we needed to get this done quickly. We interviewed 3 companies 1 refused to even work in the Bay because of issues with the AOAO. Dennis meet with us, his price was in line and he was able to arrange his schedule, and fit us in a reasonable amount of Hawaiian time. The installation was done neatly especially considering the difficulty in and with the Bay units and their construction.Dennis was especially helpful with integrating door switches with the new unit. Renters seem to like to turn the thermostats to 64, open the doors and windows and go out for the day. The new 3 zone unit has lowered my energy bills and I would recommend talking to Dennis before you proceed with any HVAC project.

we recently puchased a bay villa at kapalua with no air conditioning. met with several of the local highly recommened hvac companies but eric and done-rite wereby far the most professional and easy to deal with of them all. they did an amazingjob installing 2 zone central air in the villa and we were amazed to find the villa looked as though no one had been in the villa when the work was completed.... super clean, done on time and without and issues whatsoever to complain or discuss. would recommend done-rite without reservation .... first class company from top to bottom, thanks for a great experience.

Done Right was hired to "do it right, to diagnose & repair a long standing issue with water leaking from one of my A/C Unit inside. After thorough inspection by the owner, Eric Roberts, he determined (wrongfully) that the A/C coil needed to be replaced. Not only did he unnecessarily charge $800 to replace the coil (after continued leakage I discovered later than the true source of the problem was an improperly installed drain line attached to the unit. Ironically the correct diagnosis was done by one of his other employees 2 years after the fact. Not only did they improperly diagnosis the original problem & charge $816 to repair something that was not the source of the problem, they didn't discover their own error for 2 years. Unfortunately, as occurs with many companies, Done Right refused to accept responsibility for the incorrect original diagnosis & refused to both refund the original cost of the repair as well as properly repair the unit. In fact, in their defensiveness, error & arrogance, they not only refused to accept responsibility & rectify their original improper diagnosis, they actually breached their contractual obligation to perform regular ongoing maintenance for which they had been hired & paid
