We got three estimates for our window project. This company was the cheapest and proved the saying true. "You get what you pay for." The only good thing about them was their customer service. The receptionist, Kim was amazing at answering questions in a timely manner and helping me when needed. The owner, Larry was also very good at communicating with me. But the laborers were horrible. They left trash and pieces of glass on our roof. They didn't clean the windows they installed, so they're all dirty from the outside. They used the wrong size trim after they specifically told me they had the right size to match our association guidelines. They were lazy and I could tell they didn't want to be bothered doing the job in one day. They didn't even finish the job. I had to call the company and they sent out someone else the next day to finish.

Installers were very professional in doing their job. All my concerns were addressed to my satisfaction. The windows were of good quality and looked great after installation and trim. We purchased this prestatehood house over 30 years ago and finally have been able to start doing windows. Sunburst was the perfect choice. The job included rebuilding prestatehood framing, a small wall and making sure even the new sliding door worked in our kapakahi house. The crew were very understanding that they were being supervised and advised by our grandchildren ages 5, 3, 2 and 1 on a constant basis. We will definitely go with Sunburst when we are able to do more windows.

The team that installed the 15 windows and 2 patio doors were awesome! Very professional and easy to work with. The job foreman Kawika was very well organized, and at the end of the day he would go over what happened, and would make a plan with me for the next day. The Milgard windows and patio doors are beautiful and clear, and operate really easy, and have enhanced my view. The neighbor next door is so impressed he wants to get a quote as well. I would highly recommend Sunburst Windows to anyone who is looking to replace their windows!

I read an advertisement about Windows by Milgard and inquired online. Then I got call from Kim, office manager from Sunburst Windows. saying that the company Milgard had refer Sunburst Windows to me and a salesman will contact me soon. Kim was friendly and knowledgeable in our conversation. The salesman. Larry call the same day to make appointment for tomorrow at 10:30am. He wasknowledgeable and to the point. Since I am Veteran, they gave me a discount .The installations went smoothly and finished in three days for eleven windows including taking out the old windows and hauling them away. The crew were professional and mindful of the contents close to the windows.

They were both friendly and professional and made sure the job was done right from ordering, measuring, design to installation. The window installation crew, of Afa, Kekoa and Will were fantastic. They were on the job for five consecutive days and were personable, and caring. They would consult with me while they were installing to make sure I was satisfied with the fit and look of the windows. I truly felt that they cared about their work that they were concerned that I would be satisfied with the work. We are about a quarter way through my whole house window and patio door replacement project with Renewal by Andersen Hawaii. Wanted to provide a quick update.We have renovated many homes over 40 years and worked with many crews. This installation crew is highly professional craftsmen who are the best we ever dealt with. They are finished carpenters not window installers. Their work is truly amazing. We got lots of quotes before selected Andersen. We selected Andersen for several reasons; quality of product and warranty. Their warranty (been in business selling windows forever and will be here in the future if there is a problem.) In my last house, when I had an issue, the company was out of business and so was the warranty. Won’t be case with Andersen. The price was fair, the windows/doors were superior to vinyl or typical replacement windows, the installation crew is phenomenal, great support staff and a warranty I can count on. I highly recommend them for your next window/door project. You will not be disappointed.

So we live on the Big Island. To make sure our measurements were right and our requests would work--staff came over from Oahu more than once and provided a loan for our Marvin Window package with new siding, sheetrock and even craftsman window trim to match our existing. My husband and I are blown away with the excellence of this company. And by providing the loan--they made our dreams possible on this 70 year old house in Hilo.We are so grateful to Sunburst Windows. Everything went as expected. We knew our glass door was going to break anytime so we order with advance. Took the time it was supposed to, and when it arrived, they came and did it very professionally. Did not even noticed it happened OTHER that we finally had a NICE AND AMAZING DOOR (and window). They even came back to paint the trim to make it amazing. We are very pleased with the entire experience dealing with Larry and the exceptionally professional installation team. Although the job start was delayed a bit because of shipping from Mainland, that's something we come to expect in Hawaii. We were kept informed every step of the way and the team worked diligently to make up for the delay. The new doors and windows are exquisite. The team was consistently prompt, professional, courteous, cleaned up inside and out each day, and very attentive to even the smallest details. Everything in each room was covered with plastic; if you hadn't seen the work being done you would never know a major project was underway! This was the best home improvement experience we've had over several decades and several homes, both in Hawaii and Mainland. I've been asked to write a 5 star review, but cannot, because the work is not done. We have paid in full. In fact, I'm sitting here at 1130am waiting for contractors who should have arrived at 9am to finish trimwork on one of the two sliding doors they installed. The big picture timeline for this project was estimated at 6 months, most of that being the time for the doors to be produced and shipped. That turned into 8 months, then scheduling for installation took almost 2 months. One screen door arrived bent in multiple spots. That is estimated to take another 2 months for replacement. Not the place to go if you value timeliness or dependability. So far, since I was asked for a review, I would say it looks ok. Perhaps the company should not ask for reviews, let alone 5 stars, before the work is done.Service: Sliding glass door installation & replacement

I replaced 17 aluminum glass louvre windows in my home- original to the home in 1982. I am very happy with the new slider windows and Larry provided all the answers to my questions about the product and price.
