Given the plethora of positive reviews, we were very surprised that the quality of the food and especially the drinks was so poor. The fish of the day (red snapper) was excellent. The poke was possibly the worst I've ever had. There's no question that THE MAI TAI AND MARGARITA WERE DEFINITELY THE WORST I'VE EVER HAD. I'm not sure they even remembered to put tequila in the margarita. And what's with a menu that sneakily says "starting at" before listing the price of drinks? The lava cake was tasty but a bit chalky. The musician was awful, although I give her credit for trying. The sunset was great, otherwise I might struggle to give even two stars.Parking: The spaces were very narrow.

We were fortunate that the restaurant squeezed us in (after our reservation message was missed). The atmosphere was delightful & right on the ocean as the sun was setting (especially with the Hawaiian live music in the background), the food delicious (and plentiful...no tiny portions) and the service exceptional. Honestly a wonderful, wonderful experience. Would highly recommend:)

Quick SummaryLocated in Hotel Molokai, this is the nice restaurant on the island and one of the few establishments that open on weekends. Food was fantastic. Service is pretty solid. And the sunset views are spectacular. Highly recommend to book a reservation, especially on weekendsFood- 4 starsDined here twice. Really enjoyed their hamachi collar appetizer special, kalbi ribs, and catch of the day. Wasn't a big fan of their saimin dish on their special. Would stick with kalbi or the fresh seafood if I were to come backService- 5 starsServers were fantastic both times I dined here. They can be a bit short-staffed but luckily the beautiful views make the time go by fastViews- 5 starsFantastic sunset views and able to see plenty of whales breach during the winter. Definitely a romantic and exciting venue with the ocean backdropBottom LineGood food, excellent service, and beautiful views. Definitely worth trying once while you're on Molokai

I came from out of town to visit my parents, but I am no tourist to Moloka'i. The atmosphere here is more than beautiful, it's breathtaking. The food is exceptional. The list of "5-star quality" dining experiences on this island is almost null, so if that's what you're looking for, this is the place to go. Price point is $$-$$$ (comparatively). You can't go wrong though - it could be fun & social, or intimate (depending on the day of the week), has live music, and is right on the water?! I wish I had more pictures to add, but here are a few.

We visited this restaurant on our first day visiting Molokai. It is oceanfront and has a great view. We had lunch and we enjoyed our meal. The prices were reasonable and there was one server/bartender Paulette for the entire place. She was friendly and had to hustle to keep all of her tables happy. She did a great job! We will be back.

This is truely a family owned and operated restaurant. Most of the staff are related. Menu could use a few new options or daily specials. but the food is very good. Actually met the cooking staff. Really cool folks. It's a bit pricey for some of the menu items , but most hotel restaurants are. Try the eggrolls and garlic chicken, they were delicious.Vegetarian options: Salads and tofu substitute options availableParking: Parking is available in the hotel parking lot.

Great restaurant to visit for dinner near Kaunakakai. Good selection of food available. The view is unbeatable from the dining area. It's right on the water on the ocean and you can spot maui in the distance. There was live music playing hawaiian songs. Definitely worth a stop for a unique dining experience while in molokai.

Make reservations, place is jammed for sunset. After that it clears out. Wonderful two person entertainment. Hawaiian and some contemporary with an island flavor. Beautiful voices and ukulele.Mango margarita was perfect ( both of them). Tempura mahi- mahi (sp) was perfect if not overlarge. Luckily we'll be having it again as leftovers, there appears to be a wedding tonight.Really, the place is as romantic as the pictures 🤙Slow down, sit back, enjoy 😉

My linguini was far too spicy, but the presentation was great! Location was nice, live music done by local talent was amazing. Customer service was on point 😁

Amazing view and delicious food with live music. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Must have garlic bread and pasta, be mindful that if you are a vegetarian then salad and the garlic bread are possibly your only option.

Great menu, excellent service. Entrees are a little on the pricier side. But other than that we've gone back multiple times because the servers are always lovely.

The staff is so friendly and takes covid prevails very seriously. A temperature check, hand sanitizer, and mask are all required for entry. The French toast and garlic chicken are amazing!

Best and only real dining out option on Moloka’i. We came for the Hawaiian music on Sunday night and weren’t disappointed. Loved the duo of Pa’a pono. The food was good, our server was gracious and conscientious and we loved eating on the shoreline with sunset. Moloka’i is a special place to visit and so is this restaurant. Also appreciated the bartender!
