We highly recommend Eric and Coastal View Construction. His attention to detail and expertise results in very high quality work. He is reliable, always getting done what he said he would do, and doing it on schedule. He worked really well with all the stakeholders- the subcontractors, HOA management and property managers, and we received great feedback about him from the HOA and property manager. As noted in a review below, it's a challenge to be remote owners, but Eric made that really manageable as he is trustworthy, honest and kept us updated regularly, also reaching out whenever anything needed discussion. We would work with him again anytime.

Coastalview handled a full remodel of my two bedroom condo in Kapalua. Eric worked very well with the condo board to manage approval of the remodel and stayed in touch with me during the process. He has excellent contacts on Maui for building materials such as tile, cabinets, and lighting. Eric is easy to work with and is great at creative problem solving. The project stayed on track for completion, even during the pandemic. Doing a remodel project when you are not present can be a huge challenge.Eric (Coastal View Construction) helped us navigate all the details. He gave us all the contacts we would need for tile, cabinets and other materials. Eric kept us informed with regular communications via texts, email and phone calls. We also received progress pictures. Eric is a problem solver with attention to detail. He repeatedly stated he wanted us to be happy with the finished product. Coastal View Construction came very highly recommended by our real estate agent and the manager of our complex, and he knocked it out of the park! I have been in the real estate business for over 40 years managing, building, and leasing commercial and residential properties. As well as being a highly skilled contractor, Eric also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering which I can tell you over my years of employing contractors is an invaluable asset when when building or remodeling. I have never undertaken a project 2,500 miles away before and was very apprehensive in doing so, but with Eric’s credentials, attention to detail, and excellent communication I knew we picked the right contractor. The project which was a complete remodel of a two bedroom two bath condo, was beautifully constructed and finished well within our timeframe. It was only supply chain issues that everyone has to deal with these days, that delayed the project by only a few weeks. I would highly recommend Eric and Costal View Construction to anyone and will use Eric again in the future.

Eric and crew did high quality work, with special attention to details and finishes.Eric took care of the tile, carpeting, new appliances, new air conditioning duct work and last minute issues that sprung up including washer/dryer wiring and an outdated hot water heater.Eric also managed the appliance deliveries and carpeting. His estimates for the jobs were reasonable, and he had great ideas to improve overall function and appearance of the remodels. Eric was so kind to me. I called and he picked up at 6pm. Even though he said he was busy until February 2023, he was so kind and caring to hear my desperation to finish 2 bathrooms that an unlicensed contractor took 20k and walked off the job not finishing his agreement.Eric told me to take photos and send him an email and he will try to help me out. We had Eric Ernisse of Coastal View Construction install new flooring in our Papakea two bedroom two bath condo. We also had him replace three sets of sliding glass mirror doors. Workmanship throughout was top-notch. Although there were some delays becuase of other projects, this was during Covid-related shutdown so we let Eric know we were completely flexible on timing.
