AVOID this business at all costs. Worst experience in my lifetime. To be clear, we are nice, normal residents of Maui and appreciate beyond words anyone who works on our home - we did nothing to earn the kind of abuse we went through from this company.We were referred to Ikaika by a prior customer and friend of ours who raved about Pacific Roofing and Repair. All went well until we signed the contract back in April. A few weeks later in May, we paid half of the cost upfront - it is now August and Lani, Ikaika and Lambert will not answer our phone calls or reply to any of our emails. For 3 months we have kindly been reaching out and have gotten no response. We finally called to try and get our deposit checks back and were told by admin they would not release our checks to us. We also made the request in writing via email to Ikaika, cc’ing Lambert and Lani. Zero response. We had to pay to get stops put on the checks and to date, have received no return call from anyone about what happened to our project. If they couldn’t do the project or didn’t want to, they should have had the courtesy and professionalism to tell us. Instead, we have lost 4 months of the dry season to get our leaking roof replaced. The fact that it’s not just one person but a group of people in this business who would treat anyone like this is awful and has really been a huge setback for us. I’m leaving this review so no one else has to go through what we did.

Someone came out in December 2022, i was very impressed with Lambert - he said they were about 4-6wks out for scheduling and the price is what I expected it to be for a leak-which would involve re-roofing the flat part of my roof and moving the water heater panels. I need to put down half the estimate for a deposit so I can be on the schedule. SO, I gave them a check and was told someone will be reach out to schedule. Come the 3-week mark no one reached out to me. So, I email Lambert who then added Lani and Ikaika to the email saying someone will reach out. Still nothing! Long story cut short it went from March to April/May pushed back to July and pushed back to August. They already cashed the check and have been holding on to it for 8 months now. Then they were diverted to Lahaina for emergent repairs to the schools. Told Ikaika that I would like a refund, I finally get an agreement from Ikaika to being reimbursed of my deposit on 8/25/23. ITS NOW 9/14 and I still have not received the check! I texted him few days before wanting an update and no response. Only when I threaten to put in a formal complaint with BBB and RICO is when I get a response that is so vague.'Check sent to bank for processing, and I have to sign for it, so they have a copy." Ok. I asked him what that meant and nothing. I am left thinking a cashier's check will be mailed to me certified.DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE! Too many excuses and lack of communication.

They are the best! I had an issue with my exhaust fan on a Friday and was leaving to have surgery off island on Sunday. They went above and beyond and came out on Saturday to fix the exhaust fan so that I may have peace of mind and could concentrate on my recovery! I would highly recommend them!!! Very disappointing and frustrating experience. I called on 1/5 to get a quote on a leaking roof. I was told to expect a call back. 3 weeks goes by without a call. They say the person that originally was assigned to work with me is currently not working. If that’s the case why wasn’t i assigned to another worker instead of being forgotten about until I had to call back? They tell me that I am being assigned to another worker now and i will get a call back before the end of the week. Week goes by still no call back. Today (2/6) i call them and all I’m told is that they will put me on the list to receive a call back and they don’t know when that will be. I can understand if you are too busy or don’t want my business but I just wish you would be honest and say so. That way I could have searched for help elsewhere instead having to wait over a month for a simple phone call.

Do not do business with this company! They took money from a non-profit and never did the job- and never paid back the deposit. All calls and emails have been unanswered and mailboxes are full. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, and fraudulent.

We needed to reroof ASAP and Pacific Roofing made it happen. Very pleasant and hardworking crew. Really happy with the new roof. I especially like the way they did the valleys. I have a couple of friends whose roof leaked from the valley "joint". I would definitely use Pacific Roofing again.Service: Roof installation

Due to the pandemic, we had a little rocky start on the reroofing job, but once the project date was set, Ikaika and his crew were very professional, respectful and expedient. The demo required a large crew, yet they each knew what needed to be done and worked together as a team! I was especially impressed with the clean-up! I will not have to worry about a leaky roof nor leaky skylights for the rest of my life! Pacific Roofing is locally owned and operated. They hire locally, have their own lift and dumpsters. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and clean. Considering the constantly howling wind and the extensive wood rot that needed to be repaired, they kept to the estimate even though it took longer than expected to get the job done right.
