I have been in this store several times now. Very clean and the staff is always welcoming. Their pricing is actually pretty fair given the fact it is in island park. I do recommend a visit if you are in need of tools, hardware, or lumber in the area.

The service is very good. Great family owned business. I would rather buy from here than drive to West or I.F. for supplies. Always very helpful if I have a question. They also work great with contractors like myself. I have been remodeling cabins and building new ones for almost 20 years in Island Park and I have bought from them a ton of times over the years.

We have been going there for 4 years now, since we bought our fixer-upper cabin at Henry's Lake. They have a good supply of everything we need. Mr. Gunnell and his helpers are great. Their return policy is posted clearly by the register. But Mrs. Gunnell is mean-spirited about taking returns and makes the whole shopping experience regrettable. It's too bad because it's the only part of the business I don't like.

You guys need to fix your hours on line. It says you’re open today - Saturday - until 5. So I drove in only to find a sign on the door that says you close Saturdays at 1. You need to be more professional.

This place is small but has a great selection for construction contractors; building and roofing. Prices are reasonable. Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Definately be doing business here in the future.

We have never had worse customer service. Don’t try to return anything for any reason because they will be rude and condescending. Their exact words are were “ How am I supposed to sell this again” and “ you have to make this look brand new or I won’t even look at it” followed by much more. We were only trying to return an extension cord that was not correctly labeled. They make the people of island park look really bad. We will never be returning here again.

This is such a friendly and well supplied hardware store! Upon entering, I was immediately greeted with "How may I help you". I said that I needed several boards and the gentleman asked about my vehicle and he loaded the boards into my truck before I finished shopping. IP Builders Supply had the hole saw and saw-z-all blades along with the various screws which were required to complete my project. It is an amazing & cheerful quick stop in a beautiful "resort" area.

Just a larger better version of the old store. The operators are very helpful - they may be able to solve a problem or find something that isn't on the shelf. Don't forget to go upstairs and look at the decor, the prices up there are really good.

Cortney Morris review - 1 star review??? Are you serious? We were standing right next to you when you returned a $20+ used extension cord insisting that the UL tag was mislabeled. It was all I could do to stand back and listen to your inexplicable reasoning for returning a used extension cord. Island Park Builders Supply is NOT a “borrow, use and return an item for full refund” when you’re either done using it, it wasn’t the right length or whatever. You should drive 90 miles to a Walmart if that’s your game. I’m an Island Park property owner for many years (although not a full time resident) and I just can’t say enough good things about how critical, helpful, friendly and unique this long time, family owned and operated business has been to our entire family. IPBS is an extraordinary asset to the entire Island Park community and clearly not as you’ve stated in your 1 star review. It seems you should be happy to get your $20 back.
