Bret is the owner of Summit Construction and Restoration and was recommended by my local window provider. His crew of three removed and installed seven windows and one slider in my condo in THREE days including painting and exterior trim.I did not have them install the interior trim because I’m doing some more remodeling on the inside, though they can do that too.The crew was professional, diligent, quiet and clean, and they were amenable to my requests for extra care and prep during the project.The interior was vacuumed and/or swept daily, where needed and the trash was removed daily (no piles to remain until the lat day).They took all steps to install the windows according to manufacturers instructions and in a workmanship like manner.I would highly recommend Summit Construction and Restoration for any window installation project and I will use them again in the future for my other condo remodeling projects.

During a very stressful water leak situation Summit Restoration came to the rescue.Justin and Nick patiently answered my numerous questions and cleaned up beautifully after removing drywall and insulation. Shawn is great to work with. Stayed on top of project from the beginning and explained everything. The company he hired to do the siding Big T's siding and construction Tony did a great job. They did a better job than the original contractor. I will be using Summit again for a project we want done in the future. Thanks. Rain gutters a different story. Not impressed with product or damage done to the roof during installation. I would not recommend the company that did the gutters.

This is in regards to Bob McDonald in Kimberly. He badly needed hand rails at his front, back and garage door steps. He was lie to by super on the project. Bob was told they were going to custom design them and build them, themselves. Bob’s brother Jim asked that those be installed first. They came almost at the end of up grades on the house. They arrived in a box from Franklin Building supply and they were a straight handrail not made at an angle for stairs. They were installed straight across a step. Talk about shoddy construction. A new walk in shower was installed. After several days one panel was pulling loose from the wall. When asked what would be done to repair this, they used screws with washers and squirted more glue behind the panel. When asked about all the screw holes in the panel, Bob’s brother Jim was told, they would fill them with caulk.Had to wait on the shower doors. And when they arrived and were installed there is no top rail to secure the top of the doors. Contractor, said that’s the way they are made. Lies, improper installation and improper hand rails. Not to mention the grab bars were to be the scored type for better grip with soapy wet hands. Installed were the brushed silver with no grab scoring.I could go on, but I’m so angry that they have shoved improper products onto my friend. Taking advantage of the elderly….

My house flooded when on vacation and I had to call Summit at 10:30pm. They were at my house within 15 minutes and the crew worked hard they were able to pull up my flooring and get it drying within an hour! I was so impressed. We woke up to a flood in our basement the day before we were scheduled to leave for vacation. I frantically called and left messages for so many different places for help as I did not know where the water was coming from. I called Summit Restoration & Construction and a wonderful woman answered the phone. She assured me that she would dispatch someone immediately. Within 5 minutes, I received a call from Clint and he told me he would be at my house in an hour. He showed up even before the hour was over and went down in the basement and diagnosed the problem immediately and professionally! This company really knows what they are doing! He found the leak and capped off the pipe and then started the procedure to get the walls and carpet dried. His team was at our house in the next hour setting up drying machines and humidifiers. They pulled up the carpet and dried that too. They laid down paper over our hardwood floors so they wouldn't get scratched with their equipment. They brought in a plumber the next morning and the pipe was replaced. They cut out some wet drywall and replaced it and painted too. When they were finished (less than two weeks) you couldn't even tell that there was a problem at all. We were able to go on vacation as planned and they made sure all the repairs were done, even working with our pet/house sitter. I was so impressed with their entire team that worked in our house. Every single person that came to our house was professional, knowledgably and courteous. I would give them 10 stars if that was allowed. Summit was a great company to work with. The employees were all super professional, friendly and great to work with. The process took longer than expected but most of those hiccups were not not the fault of Summit. It's a time when patience is required because there are longer wait times on receiving appliances, fireplaces, light fixtures etc. This is our first time doing a remodel and I must say that communication is key. June 2023Summit Restoration did a major remodel/update on our house this past year. We could not be happier with the completed work, and would recommend Clint, Brett, and their competent crew to anyone, without reservation.Our 26 year old home is in good shape, but it was dated. Our goal was to get different kitchen appliances and cabinets, put new counters and islands in the kitchen, enlarge the great room off of the kitchen, and revamp the master bathroom. We also had the original carpet in much of the house. It is a larger home with a full basement and a partial second story, but we have a large family and lots of grandkids. It needs to have the capacity to entertain this group and to lure them for frequent family visits.My wife and I got out the old floor plan, and with Clint and Brett, we did an overlay of walls we wanted moved and doorways and archways we wanted added. Our 1990 style home had a formal living room with a piano and couches that were seldom used. Our formal dining room had chairs no one wanted to sit on and a large china cabinet that housed dishes used exactly two times a year...Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have attached some Before and After pics.Summit told us of limitations we needed to consider (bearing walls) and we came up with an awesome design that incorporated two large arches in hallway walls that enabled us to make most of the main floor a great room/kitchen with two islands, a breakfast nook with a smaller table, and we put our less formal family kitchen table in the old dining room, which was now a side feature in this new great room.As a result, we now have a large room with a dinner table that seats 10, an eating island that has 8 bar stools around three sides of it, an expandable breakfast and game table that seats 6, and a large food prep island with a small sink and small refrigerator. The new kitchen features darker wood cabinets that go to the top of a 9' ceiling, and a set of side by side Frigidaire refrigerator and freezer that took away the need for the two in the garage. We also turned an extra staircase to the full finished basement into a large pantry on the main floor, and a large storage room downstairs. With the new large windows looking out to the back porch and yard, it is absolutely perfect. We wouldn't change a thing.I know that there are other Baby Boomers out there who love their houses, their location and neighborhood, and their gardens/yards, but they need an update. Summit Restoration is the place to get this done. They know all the best sub-contractors and professionals, and they kept them all coordinated and as 'on-schedule' as is possible in this material and labor shortage building environment we now know.We were particularly fond of Rudy and Alberto (carpenters), Adrian and his crew (painters), Rick and Todd (finish work craftsmen), Eric (Tile and bathroom), and the constant communication we received from Clint and Summit's administrative coordinator, Randi. We will absolutely call them for any other repairs, damages, remodels, and midnight disasters. Summit has been around for almost two decades, and the new owners are leaders of an incredible crew. Bret and his crew were Johnnie on the spot when our shop/garage burned down and took control of all the moving parts associated with the aftermath demo, and how to best navigate the insurance adjuster nightmare. Then he bid for the rebuild. Even when it became clear that insurance was not going to cover the whole rebuild, Bret hooked us up with trusted contractors and draftsman who could help us rebuild it ourselves. And he continues to point us in the right direction with a multitude of questions asked. Summit gets 5 Stars from us. Bret gets 7 stars.

Summit Restoration is Wonderful! We had a pipe break in the kitchen & bath wall just before Christmas, with a house full of family! Luckily we were referred to Summit....What a blessing!All the tiling and flooring had to be removed in the bath as well as the Sheetrock. And our cabinets had to be removed and all the backsplash and upper Sheetrock in the Kitchen. It was a mess!Even with the holiday delays Summit was there for us...the clean up crew came and they quickly removed the damage, then they dried everything out and got to work.Bret came out personally and walked us through the whole process. He came to our home several times to make sure everything was perfect! He was always available when we needed to reach out to him.Justin was meticulous as he repaired the damage to the Sheetrock making it beautiful. We can’t say enough about him, he was always on time and really went the extra mile for us.After the plumber did the pipe repair, Aric replaced all the tile in both rooms.
