TruGreen has good quality products that work. The issue is they have terrible customer service and you definitely can not trust that the service techs will show up and do what you are paying for. I signed up for a year of prepaid services. I had to call multiple times because they would only do the front yard, when I paid for both front and back. Also had to call because they were supposed to aerate the yard and never did. If you like to babysit, they’re the company for you! I also was charged for a service that I never agreed to and they would not give me a refund.

They did a good job this time. However, I was charged with $100 + amount in July for a service that I did not receive. I called about it and was told they accidently went to the wrong address. We canceled our service spring of 2022. They said we had a credit and would still be doing the lawn and tree service until it ran out. They then came 1 more time for each and then gave us a charge for $8.00 and $9.00 on our credit card. Didn't figure it was worth the fight since the people you have to talk to are in KY.Last week they showed up for a treatment on the trees and said we had a credit that covered the charge. Today I get a bill for 83.94 for the tree service. Seems like you can't ever get rid of these people once you start with them. I wont say never but there would have to be no other companies offering their service and our yard in bad shape before I would use true green again.

Used these services for a year and they are horrible. Buyer beware! Don't give them your credit card! They charge it without your permission even after horrible service! Then the account manager will call you and harass you after you already explained what happened to a different customer service person. I joined because a friend told me and it has been nothing but problems. I have weeds and patches in my lawn. I had a clover mite infestation this year that I never had in all.my 21 years living here. I have tons of spiders this year and last year Gemtek had taken care of them so it wasnt a problem. Ridiculous! When you try to talk to them about the problem they want to make excuses to keep you on the account and keep charging your card. But they Don't do anything to fix the problem! Severely overpriced. Over a $100 for someone to come out and spend 5 minutes spraying $10 worth of chemicals. Do some research and buy your own chemicals, you'll save a ton of money; and you won't have to deal with constant calls trying to sell you their newest over priced poison.

First time home buyer, happy with my results I am glad I have trugreen. I see a big difference in my lawn vs my neighbors who are trying on their own. There are a few areas in my new lawn that I hope will grow better next year.

Salesman, lied to me about numerous things to get me to sign up. I then had to pay someone to come mow my fields, which he said I wouldn't. Then it took a month of him not responding to calls or text and me calling the Boise branch for someone to show. Had 1 good service after that and then they came a second time, my weeds are coming back and Jake says he's busy with new changes at work and can't help me. He did say the sprayer guy will call me when he gets a chance. I canceled my service and am I going local. I don't want to wait another month, or deal with this salesman anymore.

I would not recommend this company. No customer service! No calls to reschedule they just don't show up as planned!!! I had to scream at them to come spray! They came out and only sprayed half of my yard!!! I promptly called and cancelled my service with them. If I could I wouldn't even give them one star!!! They will never get by business again!!!

Local management and techs seem to be great guys. But it's tru green. Pushy and almost impossible to cancel service once started. Not at all the fault of local employees. Just a symptom of a large corporation relying too much on statistics and decimal points. There are much better local options.

TruGreen was hired for one purpose... WEED CONTROL. We told them that upfront. Know what they did not do... Ever? Weed control. When asked about it they informed us we needed to call them back separately for that.

I have called numerous times to discontinue this service since we sold the house in Idaho Falls AND I receive a phone call saying that they were going to apply a treatment tomorrow. The house has been sold for 3 weeks now. I called the Sales dept and they answered the phone but couldn't answer any questions. Avoid them like the plague!!!
