Despite having over 2 dozen storm chasers & contractors knock on my door to replace my hail damaged aluminum siding, I called Pastor, at A&E Roofing & Siding, whom had did my a great job on my roof 7 years ago.I wanted to do Hardie as opposed to vinyl, he saw my vision and more for my tired house and helped to transform it into a modern looking home. He, is committed to and passionate about quality workmanship and pays attention to details as do his workers Rodrigo, George and and his Hardie Siding crews. They tore off two layers of siding, aluminum & cedar and trim, then replaced it all with Hardie Montery Beige siding & white trim.The crew was fast, efficient, courteous,and accommodating. They paid attention to detail, did an outstanding job siding and caulking the entire home. The home looked better than I had imagined when they finished and I have received lots of compliments on it. His office staff and family are very polite, professional and helpful throughout the process also. I would definitely use A&E Roofing & Siding again and highly recommend them. Remodeling and choosing the right siding material and colors is almost as intense as building a new home. Joe Mendoza, our sales rep. presented us with many options and was very patient while we swayed back and forth with possibilities. He made the selection process much easier by explaining the options and guiding us in the direction we wanted to go.Our questions and concerns were addressed immediately which put our minds at ease and reaffirmed we were in good hands. Once our selections were made, Joe walked us through the remodeling process and explained in detail what to expect.The crews were friendly, courteous and professional. They took time to make sure every cut and fit was perfect. No details were overlooked.Pastor the owner, visit every job site and take a personal interest in the work being done, His passion to make beautiful homes is reflected in the services he offer.One of the best investments we can make is in our home. I want to thank all of the staff at A&E for such a GREAT job they did replacing my roof, gutters, and downspouts as a result of hail damage. Special thanks to Pastor, and Ben for supporting me over the (6) months it took to convince State Farm Ins. I needed the above replaced. The work was top quality from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone. In fact they will be doing the same replacement work for my daughter and husband.

I cannot speak to the quality of the roofing job, only the the crew (that day) & the crew manager. The job was in the Alshuler subdivision in Aurora, IL. The crew was blasting their taste in music farther than the sound of rakes or hammers. Obviously, the sound of work is a given. However, when I aproached the crew manager (he was wearing a silly fur-trimmed, white jacket to a jobsite), he blew me off and immediately told me to call the police. I tried to explain that was unnecessary. I simply was asking his crew to use headphones or discontinue the loudspeaker. The crew manager was a jerk. Skip this company. You and your insurance company have better options AND your neighbors will thank you, too. --Bad on you, crew manager in the white, fur-trimmed hood. You didn't listen

After being approached by several storm chasers who wanted us to sign a contract after our house suffered damage in the Memorial Day hail storm that hit Oswego this past spring, a close friend referred my wife and I to A&E. As a Google Local Guide I always look local – whether that be for food, goods, services, etc. A&E in Aurora met my first expectation for being local. Little did I know what to expect next……I had the fortunate experience of working with Pastor, the owner and CEO. From day 1 he educated me on the various aspects of roofing materials, siding, etc. The scope of the work for A&E was a new roof, new siding and new gutters. When we still were somewhat uncertain on colors, Pastor invited us to his newly built showroom in Aurora. When we arrived, not only were we amazed at the space and layout, but we also were introduced to some of the staff. This is a local family company so it was great to see in person how the family exhibits their vested interest.Jessica called us the day before the roof was to be installed. She gave us specific times of when the workers would arrive to tear down the old roof and when the materials would arrive. The roof materials were delivered via crane to the top of the roof as opposed to an elevator or someone walking up a ladder carrying it. When the roof was installed, Pastor and others were present to ensure I had no issues. A&E also went so far as to replace our mushroom vents with ridge vents. They even spray painted the vents black to match the roof. The cleanup was amazing.The next part of our project was the siding. The siding crew was also very efficient. The siding crew not only cleaned up daily but also ensured the materials were properly covered when inclement weather would approach. As part of the siding install, we also needed to have some painting done to the cedar to match the siding color. The painter did a great job. I was amazed after seeing the new color and how it matched exactly to the siding. After we saw the work the painter did on the cedar, we decided to have him paint our rails, old trim, and some soffits. You can see from the attached before and after pictures how the white now stands out a lot more than it did before. This painter did such a great job, I’d like to hire him to paint the inside of my house. A&E do you offer interior painting as well?The last part of work was the gutters. Pastor and his team recommended black gutters from the beginning once he knew the color of the siding we wanted. The gutter crew was done rather quickly since the siding crew made their job easier. The crew even recommended moving one of the gutters due to the way the home is sloped. I opted for extensions and let me tell you, those look way better than the plastic extensions you can buy. The gutters were also a lot thicker than the prior ones we had installed.My experience with A&E has been nothing but stellar. Each day of work a foreman would be present. He would explain what work would be done, ask me if I had any questions or concerns, and act on those. When Pastor would visit, he too would ensure that everything was moving according to plan. If he found something not right, he would message his employees and ensure they would do a follow up visit. When it came to billing, Eric provided a detail breakout for insurance purposes. There are so many little things A&E did too, like replacing an old light and an electrical box. When we didn’t have time to move a trampoline, they made sure it was properly covered so no roof materials got in there. It’s just a great overall company.As I close, I want to say, our house looks amazing. Even before it was completed, we received several compliments from our neighbors. A&E did a fantastic job. This was our first experience replacing major components of the house and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to work with Pastor and his team again. Thanks A&E for doing a fantastic job!

Pastore and the A & E Roofing crew did an excellent job - they had to completely tear off our siding and dryvit and replaced it with Hardie Board and Board and Batton and replaced some windows as well. They repaired everything that was wrong on our house. They arrived every day- no fail- were here early always started at 8 am and when they were done for the day everything was cleaned up. All employees were courteous and easy to work with. Two of his employees even climbed off the roof to help us when our dog got a stick caught in his mouth- above and beyond!!! Pastore helped us redesign the exterior of our house- many people have stopped us to complement how our house now looks. We have nothing but praise for Pastore and the team from A &E roofing. Fernando was on-site and was exceptional with managing the large job. A&E helped us coordinate the bolder, modern, colors that we liked but that weren’t yet being seen in our subdivision. They also suggested a small section of siding on one of our gables that looks like cedar shingles, but matches the rest of the house perfectly.Our house stands out now, and we are constantly getting compliments on how nice it looks. The owner, office team, and crew were good at listening to what I wanted and communicating any changes that came up. The work looks very nice, and I haven’t had any issues with the workmanship. We were blown away by the quality of work that we received from A and E. We had our roof, James Hardie siding, gutters, and inside ceilings repaired. Fort of all, I went back and forth with the choices, and the company had nothing but patients with me. All of the work exceeded expectations, especially the James Hardie siding.
