After working with TrueCraft, I've found the contractor that I want to work with for my personal construction and remodeling projects. As an Architect, I look for the most skilled contractors, who are organized, return calls, are priced fairly, and do what they say they are going to do. TrueCraft was all of those and more on my project.Our project was a custom project (see amateur before and after pics). The contractor needed great skill to make this happen, and they were equal to the challenge. Scott took the time to understand the design intent, and crafted the construction beautifully. I would work with Chris (the lead carpenter) on any project. I've never seen better residential drywall work. The woodwork and tilework were equally beautiful.I can't tell you how impressed I was to see the Owner of the company working on my project, when the schedule needed. And just as importantly, there were no surprise costs at the end of the project. Scott managed the project expertly, so the costs quoted were the costs of the project. Trust me, that's not always the case!If you are looking for a contractor skilled enough for custom work, priced fairly, and does what they say they are going to do, I can confidently recommend TrueCraft Remodelers. As Director of a local Assisted Living, we knew that there would be lots of things to consider when having to replace our storm damaged roof. The team at TrueCraft did an amazing job as the General Contractor. Due to the size of the job, not only did we have a 70 ton crane on site, there were also aprox 30 workers on site. This was not an easy job, but they did a great job protecting our landscaping and keeping our residents safe and entertained at the same time! Special shout out to Lennie Lourash as our on-site coordinator. I have also used TrueCraft as a consultant in my real estate business and found them very helpful in answering questions/concerns with structural issues. I highly recommend them for all of your remodel/repair and construction needs.

We used Scott and his crew for a new construction garage. Scott showed up when he said he would for our initial appointment to go over what we wanted to do, he was great with ideas and very knowledgeable on everything that would be needed for this project so he could be realistic with our budget.True Craft did so much of the labor themselves so not a whole lot of sub-contractors we’re needed, however everyone he used was reliable, very reasonable and local to central IL. Messes were cleaned up when they left for the day, even if they were to be back the next day and if something was off schedule (which happened mostly due to product shortages and weather since this project was started in winter of 2021) he was great at communicating that so we didn’t wonder where they were and when things would get done.I would 110% recommend True Craft to anyone wanting to do a remodel or new construction.

TrueCraft did an exceptional job on my kitchen remodel. Scott, the owner, had great suggestions for the remodel; for example he found a nice looking and budget friendly solution for incorporating a free standing fireplace I had purchased into the kitchen to make it look built in. He also went above and beyond by installing a temporary sink for me in the kitchen to make the remodeling project as easy and stress free as it could be during construction. TrueCraft always showed up when they said they’d be there, cleaned up after every visit, and always kept me informed on progress and potential issues so the project went very smoothly. My kitchen looks great and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience.

I couldn’t ask for any better company to choose as a contractor than True Craft Remodelers so happy I found them through Home Advisor and contacted them. From the minute my husband and I met with Scott I knew he had a great eye for detail and took his work very seriously. We had them work on our 100 year old house remodeling our living room tearing out all the old plaster and lathe and paneling and our lovely wallpaper popcorn ceilings. They took it down to bare minimal in a matter of 1 week and the next week were into rewiring and hanging drywall already! He had the same consistent guys working for him the entire time and all worked well together. They were fast, efficient, meticulous and very consistent from day 1 . Also the first company I’ve heard of that runs a Hepa Vac to keep air clean as much as possible and puts up Zip up doorways to help keep the dust down in other parts of the house very Impressive!
