It was such a delight working with Jared and his team! Jared handled the claim with our insurance and stayed with in our budget from the claim! We were able to get a new roof, gutters, soffit, fascia, AND new siding! In a post covid world I’m used to waiting a month if not longer for materials to even be available, but it only took a week until materials were dropped off at our house!! They promptly started the job the next day- they arrived at 7am and didn’t leave until until 7:30/8 pm!! I was floored at how well and efficiently they did their job! I haven’t seen people work like that in a long time- if ever! I was tired just watching them. Had roof done. Since then have been experiencing water damage. I called them multiple times, someone finally came out, checked an area and said it was fine. It’s now gotten worse, to the point it’s dripping water when it rains, called again and was told they have pictures that it’s fine and nothing they can do to help. Poor quality or work, poor responsiveness and customer satisfaction. They just want a job, do poor work and forget about you. Would recommend you avoid this company.

Aloha did a roof for me that is leaking. They charged me for work they did not perform. I am looking to see if this is criminal, insurance fraud or at least take their roofing lisc. I am also wanting to file a law suit. I am wanting anyone who has had issues with Aloha to contact me and possibly talk to my attorney. I would like to see what legal actions we all may have. To be clear I am not asking for money, I will take care of the attorney.

Took 7 months to finish 10 days worth of work. To many promises made and broken, and way too much aggravation until I contacted home office in Lake Zurich. Then work got agreed to and done. Won't ever use or recommend.

Brandon Rice was the guy who approached me about hail damage. He asked if he could take a look at my roof to see if there was anything he could assist with. Low and behold! My roof was replaced and I couldn't be happier. The results are amazing. A total 360 😍‼️ The roof was weathered but there was indeed hail damage. Aloha handled every step of the process. They started with Initiating a claim. The adjuster of my home insurance came out to take a look and agreed to pay for what what was fixed. Parker came from Aloha, once all of the work was done to the roof to ensure that everything was as it needed to be. My plants were damaged in the process of the roof being repaired, but Aloha took care of that as well. That meant the most to me, as I love my annual plants and flowers. Parker was also awesome with my talkative 4 year old toddler, he engaged with conversation and encouraged the scooter riding. I am all around pleased. My siding has yet to be done but that's happening through a separate contractor. I will post on that experience as well. I couldn't be happier. Aloha has been nothing but a blessing to me and my family. I sincerely appreciate their services ❤️Service: Roof installation

We had major hail damage in APRIL. We hired them for roofs (2) siding (front and west) and gutters. All materials were ordered we were told. 6 weeks later we were told "I forgot to order the steel roof for shed" Now 3 months later STILL no roof plus they damaged a corner piece of siding and said"Workers thought you wouldn't see it behind the bush" Then the gutter people slammed a ladder against the drip strip under roof and dented it. And the trim around the garage is very poorly done. Neither of these have been addressed yet. I was told to only speak with Mike and after several conversations his response last time 3 weeks ago is "I'll check". So tired of the run around. The only leverage I have is they are not getting any more money until the work is done satisfactory. They also installed a dented vent that I had to inform them. I was told they would take care of it the next day. The delivered it by dropping it by the garage door. It wasnt replaced for a week. I already talked with my insurance agent and he said he agrees with me me on holding balance.They don't clean up well. Found nearly a hundred nails and many pieces of cut metal and siding. I do not recommend this company at all. Had a leaky roof, was the only company I could get out same day.They came took a look, couldn’t find the leak but said they would have there production team come out later today and wouldn’t charge me if I filed a claim with insurance right then and there. Then they would also show up when the insurance claims guy comes bySo file the claim, no production team was sent out even after a phone call (also called to tell them the time the insurance guy would be out there) and they didn’t show up to that either which is leading to the claim to be denied.Can’t exactly count on these people to show up when needed and be professional, now I’m left with trying to figure out how to patch my roof since I have gone left unanswered.Service: Roof repair for storm & wind damage

WOW! The day after the insurance companyauthorized the repair (complete roof replacement) the supplies were delivered. Next day a crew arrived and before sunset, we had a beautiful new roof. I would definitely recommend Mark if you are needing a new roof, siding, or gutters for you're home or business. He always answers his phone, shows up on time, he's polite and makes sure that you are satisfied. I've seen him pick up blowing material out of a farmers field from a job site, wash tar off the siding from a falling roofing shingle. He'll do whatever it takes to make sure the job is finished to your satisfaction. Mark and the men and women of Aloha have earned my recommendation!!!!!

Aloha did the roof and siding on my house. They worked with me AND my insurance company from beginning to end, listened to all of my concerns and plans, and handled EVERYTHING. They were fast, professional, and knowledgeable. They caught repairs that others may not have, showed me any surprises, and made sure to gain approval before doing work. This place is nothing but a storm chaser. They filed an insurance claim for hail damage and refuse to be upfront about their pricing and merely want to charge you what insurance pays out. Kevin was extremely unprofessional and was yelling at me for 'wasting his time' in front of my house for all the neighbors to see. He wanted to charge $550 a square for the roof. On another rental house, which is only 550 SQ ft, they wanted to charge $7,000. Insanity!

EDIT 4/5/2023The company responded to this review 2 months ago, which was over one year from the original review date. Standard "we're sorry" message and asked that I call Wally Farbaky at the office to discuss further. I have now called the office three times over the past two months trying to contact Wally and have never had my calls returned. Seems like the company only responded to the review to give the appearance that they care. But they clearly do not.We purchased our home in October 2020. Aloha had replaced the roof for the previous owners in August 2020. Our garage roof started leaking in March 2021. I called Aloha to see if they would come take a look at it and they refused to come take a look or to work with me because I was not the owner that paid for their services. Their "craftsmanship" warranty is non-transferable, even though they only did this work less than 1 year ago. Disappointing they don't want to stand behind their work that is less than 1 year old or take the time to work with me on a solution.

I initially only wanted the front half of my roof done but ended up having the whole roof replaced due to hail damage. I was able to get a better warranty on the shingles than if if I went with another contractor that I would have to pay more money for. My sales person, Jordan, was awesome!!! Made the whole process simple and easy. Jordan was able to help me submit a claim to my insurance company to cover the cost of the roof repair without causing my insurance rates to go up. I also ended up having an issue with some damage to inside of our garage where some of the building products fell through and punctured the ceiling drywall. Aloha was great, especially the salesman Brent! He stopped by while working with a neighbor. At first I'd planned to pay out of pocket to replace my roof to sell my house. But he helped me understand it could be covered by insurance. He did all of the dealing with the insurance company except one quick phone call we did together to file the claim. It was effortless on my part. He had materials delivered and even did the work earlier than expected. They were all great and done in one day! Very good clean up. Not a trace left behind. I highly recommend!

This company is storm chasers. As soon as a town has a little hail, they hit the town the next day. They knock on everyone’s doors. The guy was in a little Toyota pickup truck with no logos at all. Didn’t see a latter at all. First thing comes out of his mouth is that they have 15 of my neighbors qualified for new roofs. That’s funny because I barely have 15 neighbors and the ones I’ve talked to their roofs are fine just like mine. Another company screwing over insurance companies and that’s why insurance costs so much! Be aware!

Aloha did such a great job on our roof and siding replacement. The house looks wonderful. They made the process so easy and the workers were very good at the job they do. The job was done very fast and they have been back a couple of times just to make sure all is good. They had to work in some really extreme weather too, from steamy hot to snow. We were very impressed with their work ethic, so much that we had them back to do garage roof and gutters. Travis and Rick were so helpful in explaining everything and making sure all was completed correctly.Thank you so much!Rick and Kathy

I requested an inspection/estimate the first week of September. After three weeks of scheduling back and forths with their representative (who I will not name even though I owe him no favors), he became unresponsive and failed to return any of my calls or emails.I have since contracted with another roofer who did an inspection/estimate within two days of my initial request. I'll be getting my new roof next week.Apparently, Aloha doesn't need my business. Guess if it's insurance-related and overpriced, my little job wasn't profitable enough.Wish I could give "0" stars.

Aloha Construction is AWESOME!!! After a Hail Storm, I needed my home and garage roofs replaced....They were easy to work with, got the work done quickly and professionally. They did everything they were supposed to! Alison was great to deal with, she explained the process of getting my roof done so I knew what to expect. I would recommend them to EVERYONE I know!!! You can't go wrong with them! They also did quite a few homes around me and everyone was very pleased!! Call them for your roofing needs!!!!

We had them replace our roof because of storm damage. They helped us through the process as we were inexperienced. They had good color options for the roof and the gutters. They were able to knock out the job very quickly, and the finished product looks great. They cleaned up after, and nothing was damaged during the build. We were very impressed with Aloha and their services with our roof replacement. We had damage to our roof from fallen, ice covered, tree branches that put holes in our roof in the January ice storm 2021. Aloha not only coordinated with the insurance, they made the entire stressful process super easy by handling all the details with the claim. The roof was removed, repaired, and replaced all in one day. The clean up was beyond my expectations, you could not even tell they were there. (I have had roofs replaced before in previous homes and was cleaning up shingles and nails for months). The deck and entire yard were cleaned and everything was put back into place including our landscaping lights and potted plants. Very friendly, easy to communicate with, and great workmanship. We have had several rainy and windy days since, and everything has been great so far, no issues at all. Thank you to Zakk and team (I am forgetting names) for all your assistance. Hail damage. Roof and gutters replaced. Family room ceiling had a leak. Aloha says not the roof - it’s a cracked pvc pipe. Hired a contractor to check the roof - roofers had put a nail in the flashing. Paid that guy and a drywall company to fix the problem. Aloha sales guy said to send him the bills and he’d see what he could do. He’s never responded. It’s been several months. Seems they get your money and then ignore you.
