I was extremely happy with RMS. Michael was very easy to talk to. I explained what I wanted and he was open to all my questions and was very good with communication. His team was outstanding. They show up, on time, and the quality of their work is way above standard! I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for painting, and/or remodeling. They also stained my deck as well and did a wonderful job on it!!

Michael and team have done a number of jobs for us. Most recently RMS completed a bathroom remodel for us. This was a complete gut job down to the studs. They completed a large custom tile shower, installed a new vanity and stool, drywall, and flooring as well as lighting. Michael and team were extremely professional throughout the entire process. Communication was top notch. All materials used were of great quality. When the job was complete my wife and I were extremely pleased with how well they cleaned up the work area. 10/10 recommend for any job.

RMS updated my bathroom for me recently. Michael and Brandon were here working long hours to get it done but finished in about a week. They did a great job of updating the bathroom according to what I asked for . They are both very professional and friendly and my dog enjoyed their daily visits. From start to finish Mike Koss and his crew were perfection. Through the entire process they were on time, efficient and got the job done. They use a design person to aid in color choices. McKenzie was very helpful. The team did much more than paint. They removed a couple of dead trees and lots of old landscaping and weeds that would have impeded their painting process. The wood was power washed, scraped and bad areas were caulked and many areas replaced. A “door to nowhere” was removed and wood siding installed in it’s place. We had great expectations and they completely exceeded them. We (and I think the neighbors) are very happy with the new look of our 100+ year old Founder’s Grove home. Five stars all the way!!!! I hired Michael for a bathroom remodel. Grade B. There was a grout issue that he blamed on a "bad batch". In actuality it was a problem with how the grout was mixed.He returned to remodel my kitchen. No backsplash was planned because I did not want a repeat issue with the grout. He used a different way of pricing which was not explained well. So many mistakes were made and communication was poor. 1. Incorrect measurements used for cabinets and install was different as a result. Three extra cabinets could not be used and a new one needed to be ordered with a minimal difference in price. 2. Floor was incorrectly installed: floating panels placed under cabinets; no subfloor installed which resulted in soft spots and split planking. 3. Wrong sink ordered which was replaced with one a different shape than the counter was processed for. 4. Sink plumbing installed incorrectly which came apart 6 months later.Poor communication throughout the second job. He seemed to either blame the subcontractor or have a placating response.I paid a plumber to replumb sink. I'm now in the process of hiring a flooring company to tear out and replace the kitchen floor because RMS was not responding to my texts and stringing me along to schedule acting to come to rectify the problem.I'm now solution-focused using other companies and spending a lot of money in the process.Poor communication. Poor accountability. After two large remodel projects, many lessons learned. Unfortunately, I would not recommend RMS given my experiences.

Michael and his crew made the exterior of our house look like new, but better (more modern and *really* sharp)! This entailed repairing a few areas before painting the wood siding, as well as the brickwork. RMS also made repairs on our wooden deck and a small fence before painting those, too. In all cases, the carpentry work, the painting and the crew were meticulous! While the work was underway, Michael regularly came by, which was helpful for discussing small requests that emerged along the way. Last but not least, he and his crew were pleasant and professional from start to finish, and we are very pleased with the results!

We had a very large project to complete when we first contacted Michael. First, I want to say that we had 2 other contractors come to look and immediatly said the project was too large. We were planning a complete remodel of our basement including a bathroom, remodel of kitchen with new cabinets, counter tops, appliances etc. Michael took on the project right away and from the very beginning was professional and the large project didn't scare him!! :) We had a vision of what we wanted and Michael, Brandon and the rest of his team brought it to life! Their attention to detail was amazing and the suggestions for certain areas was well recieved and appreciated! Basement was total re-make with a custom wet bar, wood floor in half and living area with carpet in the other half. He worked with the plumbers and electricians flawlessly. They were able to make the support posts into a masterpiece with stone on bottom, granite ledge and boxed in the top. The bathroom hadnt been used in over 30 years so needless to say it was a job! They transformed it into a beautiful, useful bathroom with tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, paint, new half wall. They always were very accomodating with all of our "extra" requests that always pop up when a remodel is being done. Michael was always available with the hundreds of questions and requests as well! We ended up with them painting the entire interior of the house as well (which wasnt the original plan) however trusted them and saw what amazing work they do! Our bar is one of a kind and that is all because of their expertise and experience. We truely felt 100% comfortable in working with them and missed them when they finally completed the job! LOL, We actually are already in the works to hire them next spring for some exterior work , new deck, painting house etc! We would absolutly recommend these guys for any job! Mike and his team came through for me when I unexpectedly needed to get several rooms painted on a Sunday before a Monday home closing. I contacted Mike on a Saturday afternoon and within a couple hours he was at my house checking out the rooms and giving me an estimate. He showed up at 7am on a Sunday with 3 other guys and got all the painting done that I needed fast and it looked perfect! Our homebuyers were very pleased with how it turned out. RMS Painting is an excellent choice for any painting you need done! They did a high quality, professional job. I needed custom trim work done and they knocked it out of the park! There were no paint splatters as they were careful in their work. They were able to repair trim places where my puppy chewed. I was undecided on colors, and their design consultant helped me work through the process of choosing the best color for my kitchen and living room. They were always on time and on budget. I could go on and on but their work speaks for itself!

RMS did an amazing job and really saved us. We had plumbing issue result in a hole in our kitchen ceiling. Brett came out within 24 hours, on a Sunday, 2 days before Christmas!
