Victor very quickly assessed the scope of the work to be done, issued a as very competitive estimate, and once the contract was signed completed the work in just a few days. Victor was great with our porch project. I had four quotes completed and he came in very competitive and even adding a few things that were not a part of the scope of work for no extra price. His communication was amazing during the entire project. He was always free if I had a question and we even connected on what it takes to build a thriving business. There are a lot of shady people in this industry and Victor was good at letting me know he wasn't and what to look for and my three story plus siding project looks amazing!

My front porch began to fall apart earlier this year, so I reached out to several companies to get estimates for a replacement. A friend recommended 1-773-Porches to me. Victor explained the code and permits needed, and it was a relief knowing he would handle that part of the project. He showed me an example of what the new porch would look like and answered my questions. The estimate he provided was easy to understand and straightforward. The demolition & build began as expected around 6-7 weeks after I signed the agreement. When the project began, the contractor Javier and his team showed up on time everyday, and they worked hard and fast. I had some feedback on the aesthetics of the new build when they did not meet my expectations, and Javier and Victor listened to what I wanted and made the requested changes without hesitation. I'm happy with the experience I had, in particular the customer service, and would recommend working with 1-773-Porches.

Born and raised in Chicago so, I respected & trusted in Victor after talking & getting to know him a bit. I went out of town during the build of my new porch and deck but my last words to Victor was “Just do the work like you would have done your own porch. You are the professional do what you need to do.”I had constant communication from the builders Javier would call me when arrived and when he left with a status when the work would be done. Everything they said they did.My daughter and son over seen their craftsmanship & were pleased with the final results. Victor is the consummate professional. When we initially called, he answered and was kind and thoughtful. He understood our situation was a bit of an emergency and came out the next business day. Victor promptly returned my call and said, ma’am I am not a professional home visitor, I have a business to run.Of the option to pay a $50.00 consultation fee or donate a new toy, I choose the later.Victor provided me what I considered to be a fair quote. Victor saved the day. I have a rental with an enclosed backporch and it was in rough shape. The wood siding on the bottom was rotted out and mice were getting in. When I removed the siding, I realized that one of the 6x6 support beams were rotted out. I also noticed that the team that I originally contracted was cutting every corner and not taking my concerns seriously about the beam. I fired them and called Victor. He came over and inspected the damage. He understood exactly what to do and explained the scope of work in detail. He was crystal clear on pricing and how he expected payments to be dispersed. His team redid all the work the other contractors started and completed the job as discussed. And this really blew me away: his team addressed several miscellaneous items that were not a part of the original quote(he helped with a broken downspout, broken stairs, and a patch of missing vinyl). They started and finished within the week. He was transparent, knowledgeable, honest, and the work was top-notch. If I need help with a porch in the future, I'm calling Victor first.

I would give a 4.5 but not an option. Our condo building's porch repairs were done with high quality and went beyond the original scopes of the project; they were also responsive in terms of returning for details that needed finishing. There was some changing of dates (push back of start date and stopping work in the middle for a few days) and a little miscommunication with the crew about the use of parking spaces. I would recommend this company for your porch repair needs!

Victor and his team goes above and beyond. By using Victor, I found out that I would be in compliance with City ordinance and know I'll have a safe and robust deck. He uses and architect as well as coordinate all the inspections and approvals with City inspectors. Not only will I have no worries about safety and a long lasting deck, but wont have to worry about this when we decide to sell.In addition to this, I found out that Victor and his crews personally pick out each board, railing etc. every morning before coming on site. Instead of simply ordering lumber delivery and have curved and knotted boards on my porch, Victor and his crews assured that I had the best materials on my deck handpicked by them. The install was done on time and exactly as promised. These guys are worth every penny, well money spent.
