Castro General Service posted a review on Google on our business. I am responding to their concern. Castro created a homeowner claim on a client of ours without the clients consent. Once our office received notice of the claim we called our client to see how we could help. Client informed us that Castro was to go up on her roof to offer an estimate. She believes she signed a form that would allow Castro to go on to the roof and she stated it was a blank form. Turns out Castro had our client sign a contact which our client was not aware of to do work. Client stated she never wanted Castro to do work (client is age 90). Client called Castro to cancel contract which Castro said he would have his secretary send papers to void contract (Castro never sent). My office offered to call Castro on behalf of our client so we did. The owner started screaming during the conversation and subsequently a follow-up call from a secretary or wife started screaming during her conversation. Not as good way to have a conversation to resolve a concern.Castro stated in his review that my office recommended to our client to not file a claim. That never happened. Our practice during a claim to gather information on the loss, suggest that a license contract offer a professional option on the cause and cost of the claim so we can know how best to handle the loss going forward. Per our client this claim process started from Castro going out to client's home un-announce without consent and started a claim on our clients home without her knowledge.Sandy Castro also offered a review with a Star rating of 1 to our business. It appears they work on the same level of service to the public.Take this information and come to your own conclusion on what went wrong here.
