We reached out to Chicago Building Group for some masonry and water sealing work on all faces of our condominium. From the onset the owner listened and assessed the problems and then was very responsive and cooperative when working with the HOA. His estimates were fair and further the team went above and beyond in addressing identified issues while identifying and fixing potential others. We were pleased with the work and multiple extras performed. The team is professionalism and the work performed to completion and on time. We had a very serious structural beam that needed replacement due to water damage as a result of a faulty roof. Jose and his team at Chicago Building Group, Inc. were outstanding. Upon our initial meeting, we knew we could breath easy knowing we were in good hands. The project proceeded on schedule, the team were polite and professional and we couldn't be happier with the final results. Jose was excellent with communication and kept me updated as things progressed and was always available when I had questions. I highly recommend this company. Chicago Building Group has been our trusted go to ALL-IN-ON GC for our our distressed homes that we redevelop . Jose and his team have successfully completed over 100 homes for us over the last 4 years and I felt it was time to start sharing with the world and consumers how wonderful his team is. They handle everything from permits, architectural drawings, municipality inspections, demo, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and finishing work. There prices are are fair and their willingness to work above and beyond to get a job done on time is unlike any other GC my team has worked with. They constantly show up when they say they will and they always come in short notice when we have unexpected issues relating to items OUTSIDE of their contract. We have had basements flood due to city overflows, garages collapse due to high winds and everything in between. I trust Chicago Building Group more than any other GC I've worked with (and we've rehabbed 1000+ homes). I wish we had stumbled across Jose and Chicago Building Group a decade ago but we feel so fortunate to have found him. When other GC's left us high and dry he always showed up to finish their mistakes. Jose and his team completed a structural job at my home. They were efficient and came in well under all the other bids for the job. I am very pleased with the work and happy I chose to use the Chicago Building Group for my project. I will definitely use them again!

Our family moved into an old home and shortly after we noticed small cracks developing in the ceiling of my daughter’s room. The cracks grew rapidly and it was becoming apparent that parts of the ceiling were going to come down. I contacted a structural engineer to assess the structural integrity of the house (everything was okay) but he recommended Chicago Building Group, Inc. for the ceiling repair. Within a week or so, we had the work booked and in just a few days, the work complete—including a completely new paint job for the room. The new paint job wasn’t originally part of the work that was scoped, but they were kind enough to add it and even went out of their way to help us acquire the right swatches and correct paint for the job. My wife and I were very happy with the results, and most importantly—so was our young daughter who felt like she was moving back into a brand new room with her favorite color on the wall. Highly recommend!
