I am a remodeling contractor and have used Czar's services for 4 projects. Two of them were for clients who needed new roofs on their own homes and twice for major reroofing projects at the 18-unit condo building where I live. Putting it concisely, Czar's performance and trustworthiness has been impeccable. In 2017, as the condo board member in charge of getting bids and selecting contractors for repairs, I had to choose a contractor for a complex $34,000 roof re-shingling on a mansard portion of our roof that was really difficult to access. So I was nervous about selecting the right contractor, especially since we had to put up a 50% deposit ($17,000!) with any contractor we would hire. So I first checked out Czar' references and actually drove out to see a couple of their projects. The clients of theirs that I called gave them very positive reviews and their work looked great, so our condo association signed a contract with them. In addition to being the lowest bidder of 3 contractors (by $3,000) Czar's foremen and crew were simply outstanding in terms of organization, safety, and really high quality workmanship. They did a beautiful job on some custom sheet metal work that was part of the project. Again in 2023 we had to redo the flat roof portion of our condo building with single-ply torch down material, another project in the $30,000 range. We got bids from 3 contractors, but we chose Czar again and Czar's crew did a truly meticulous job, (even in cold, wet weather) working around several skylight openings and around and under 18 rooftop air conditioning condenser units. They also did some top-notch tuckpointing work on a brick wall that was part of the project. I found that other roofers I took bids from did a good fast-talking job trying to sell me on their company, but as a remodeling contractor with 45 years experience I can differentiate smooth talk from actual job performance. Czar's foremen and estimators, with their Polish accents, can be a little hard to understand, but they really deliver quality craftsmanship at very fair prices. While I've used them only on residential projects, I know that commercial buildings and churches are part of their business. Incidentally, when I first started working with them 6 years ago, I wondered how they chose the name Czar for the company, but later realized it was just a shortened form of the owner's last name. I wrote this long review, not because I have any relationship to these people, but because I feel truly admirative of these hard-working craftsmen and grateful for the peace of mind they have brought to the residents at our 18-unit condo building.

I had damages in my bathroom from a leak from the condo above me. They removed the wallpaper, repaired the drywall, and painted. Looked perfect when it was finished, like a brand new bathroom.About a year later, my moms back door was broken into and I used Czar for the repairs. They came and repaired the door quickly and great quality work. I would absolutely use them again.

I had Czar build my new garage. They hauled away my old garage and old concrete. I love my new garage, thanks Czar. Great work and I’ll call next time I need work done.
