Empire quote State Farm 26K but it turns out that State Farm added another 12k to the quote; Empire wanted me to pay 3700 to finish the front of the house until I questioned the additional funds. We just settled 2,200 out of pocket. They did my first house 6yrs ago with no problems but took advantage of this project. They did good work, but please sit down and understand any and all expenses. Russ tries his best, and he tries to give you the best service he possibly can representing Empire Renovation Company.

Empire Renovation was the absolute best contractor I’ve ever worked with. Monika the coordinator always explained everything and was on top of the job from start to finish. I had hail damage on my roof. They handled the insurance claim with professionalism. The roof was installed much better than the original one when the house was built. No broken shingles, the ice shield was wrapped down the fascia behind the gutters. Gutter crew used screws instead of the original nails. All gutters were pitched slightly towards downspouts. I am looking forward to using them in the future on any renovation project I have

Shining a light on this outfit I have to say, do the least amount of work for top dollar.Tom showed up to do an inspection. took photos, filled out paperwork, etc. Insurance approved the claim for hail damage and paid out. Thats when I became second class citizen.They are not honest people. I asked for Duration shingles, told me no problem. Truck showed up with Duration shingles and the crew installed it. Under the shingles they should have put down Duration shingles starter (first row adjacent to the gutters) they installed some other manufacturer without glue. Keeping costs low at my expense, maximizing their profits.Nails are sticking through the shingles causing holes in newly installed material. Poor job on chimney flashing, caulk has holes in it. I asked for counter flashing to be installed got denied.This company shines on the surface but beneath they cut i corners and lie, justifying their bad decisions and actions with explanations that sound good but are not for the long run.Be aware when choosing their craftsmanship.Service: Roof repair
