We purchased a newly constructed home about 5 years ago, and the room below the “dog house” developed a leak last week. Outstanding company and people. Because I've lived in the house long enough it is my second major project with this company, and a second generation of the family (the family business dates even further back). Complicated project because the original builder made major mistakes. Holman & Nachtwey saved the property and prevented any repeat or future troubles! A routine 20 year replacement of a flat roof was complicated by the need to entirely reengineer ventilation within the roof (something they had no reason to suspect or discover the last time they were here...the property was too new then for the builder's sins to show up). They did this professionally and with great consideration. They also replaced original aluminum siding with clean and more durable vinyl! House wrap under the siding...a protective measure that the original builder didn't even install! The entire construction crew is competent and pleasant! The house was delivered much better and healthier than when the project was contemplated. These are the folks to trust. You may have surprises...who knows what your builder did...but they never come from H&N...a most honest and trustworthy family business! Make them your first and only call! Our condo association hired Holman & Nachtwey to inspect and repair our roof and clean our gutters. They did a great job replacing missing shingles, fixing and sealing many, many nail pops and cleaning the gutters at the end of autumn. We originally had a tear off to be done and noticed a sag on our roof. Mike, Marvin and Larry inspected our roof and noticed severe damage from the previous owner not correctly building the ridge board and roof joists the right way. Several other issues were discovered as the complete tear off was down to the joists. They had a crew at our house and worked from early morning til dark everyday for weeks! They showed us pictures and let us know every step of the way what was being done and had pictures of all the work as it was being built. They cleaned up every night and we had no issues with any debris laying around. I highly recommend if you need any roof repair, gutters, siding to give them a call first!
