Where do I start? Legend Exteriors is a company you can rely on to get things done hands down. I had hail damage to my roof and had the pleasure of working with both Joe and Steve Ward. Two amazing guys who care about your situation and are extremely straightforward and diligent in getting things done, and done in short time. Nobody better to work with out there and I have worked with other companies in the past. Steve is awesome he came out quickly, and helped me throughout the entire claims process. You know when you are dealing with someone who just wants money and then there is Legend Exteriors who cares that things are done right. My roof looks amazing and they were even able to get my gutter guards and downspouts covered as well. Steve met with my adjuster and my life went on as normal while he took care of the details. Never missed a day of work or time with my family. No need to waste a bunch of time researching, Steve and Joe have your back 100%. I have recommended these guys to others already. Tried and true company that will forever have my business. Thank you Joe and Steve and thanks to the workers also who cannot be forgotten for doing such an amazing job in 1 day. From start to finish, working with Legend Exteriors was a fantastic experience. Krissy understood the scale of our project and set us up with Steve the General Contractor for Legend. Our project included painting brick, installing new siding, gutters, soffits, fascia, cedar bracket details and cedar posts. Steve was great at communicating with us throughout the entire process. All of his subcontractors were wonderful to work with too! The attention to detail and quality were unmatched! I highly recommend Legend Exteriors!

Greatest experience ever! I had been so stressed out about having to get a new roof and siding. But after having meet with Steve Ward all my anxiety was put to rest. I had hail damage to the roof and siding. He handled EVERYTHING, from the insurance company to meeting with the claims adjuster! My house was old and needed more repairs than just that, so he also installed a new garage door, as well as the back door to the garage. I needed new windows, he recommended a company and handled getting them out there for an estimated as well as the installation! I HIGHLY recommend Legends Exteriors and Construction. Very professional and efficient. My house looks beautiful!

I've worked with many contractors over the decades, and I feel that Legend Exteriors & Construction is the best I've ever dealt with. I'm often skeptical of Google reviews since it's possible that they could be manipulated, but in this case, Legend is well deserving of its reputation. I worked with the project manager Dayne, and he was outstanding -- responsive and on top of things at all times. The quality of their work is fantastic, their customer service is a cut above anyone else, and they are super honest. If anyone asked me for recommendations on roofing and exteriors, I would not hesitate to recommendation this company. I feel with their work ethic and way of doing business, they can take over a lot more business in the area once people realize how much better they are than anyone else.

Mike and his team did a fantastic explanation of what was going on with our issue with a certain bird species that found its way into our siding. Once that problem was taken care of his communication with what we needed to was consistent & fair. While the project was more than we were expecting, we received a fair estimation & price. Great interaction and help from Legend Exteriors & Construction, West Chicago!!Josh Burton, the president of the company, lives near me although I had never met him. I had watched as he did so much work on his amazing home and decided to reach out to his company for an assessment of my roof. When my request came through he must have noticed I lived nearby and so he came himself!! Very personable, knowledgeable, and no long-winded 2hr sales pitches!He got up on my roof himself and fixed a number of areas with nail pops - at no charge! - but said my roof good for another 3 yrs! Who does that!Fantastic guy - highly recommend contacting for a fair assessment and a personal touch - not just one of those "send me a pic in text" guys.

I would say I am highly satisfied from start to finish with this company. Not only did Erik have great communication skills, they fixed and replaced a spot of rotting wood behind the siding that they replaced that we didn’t even know was there. (It was not small) The finishing siding looks incredible and the team even helped install new light fixtures outside, a new mailbox, and new plating for our address. This company went above and beyond our expectations and I recommend them to anyone who wants a company that truly values their customers experiences. Legend Exteriors installed my roof in 2015. I recently had wind damage to the ridge caps on my roof. Mike from Legend's service department contacted me and obtained information to contact the manufacturer warranty department. Mike and repair technician George came to my home, inspected the damage, submitted the warranty claim and completed the necessary repairs in under 3 hours.Both Mike and George were great. I would recommend Legend for anyone considering a new roof, or repairs.

Rob D was a great help to me. I live out of state and when my rental property suffered severe hail damage to the roof, siding and gutters he was there to help me out. He handled things with my insurance company to where I had zero money out of pocket and I basically got a new house. All new roof, siding and new big boy gutters. The house looks better than the original color and roof did when the house was new. I was happy about how friendly and easy to work with they were, all while being professional during the whole process. I highly recommend this company, they are honest and really do great work. Be careful of other companies taking advantage after a storm, you do not have to worry with Legend. 6 STARS OUT OF 5! Pictures below of my new pad! The tenants are happy as all get-out too!

Tony and his team were awesome. I had storm damage and my insurance carrier recommended another company. That company came out and then took weeks to follow through. I called Tony and he was out within days, helped me get the Insurance company to adjust their estimate. He also fixed an exposed part of my roof during that first appointment free of charge knowing more damage could happen in between. Even if you already have someone your insurance company recommends. Talk to these guys before you commit to them. I can't speak highly enough of their professionalism.

Steve Ward and his crew were amazing! I would give them a 5+ star review! Steve was on top of everything and followed through with our insurance. The crew was at my property at 6:15 a.m. and worked until 8:30 p.m. on the hottest day of the year! They were very professional, did an amazing job. They cleaned up that night and came back the next morning to make sure all nails and roofing debris was picked up. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a roofing project done.

We hired Legend after a Memorial Day storm did roof and siding damage. Tony and Josh were great to work with, they were very knowledgeable and patient with us (we may have changed our minds a few times) and always made us feel like we were a high priority. They walked us through the entire process and never once pressured us to make a decision. They were amazing at communicating with us as well, they responded to emails, texts and phone calls lightning fast, especially when there was a problem. Now I would like to tell you that everything went perfect with no hiccups when it came time to do the actual work, however we had a few issues that we had to deal with. Most of them were minor and rectified quickly, but one was pretty major. Shortly after we had our siding put up I noticed that panels were starting to bubble over the garage. I sent Tony a picture and he got someone out to fix it right away, unfortunately that started to bubble as well. At that point Tony and Josh got Alside involved and not only had their rep come out to inspect the issue, but got them to drive to their factory in Wisconsin and pick up brand new panels to install. This seemed to fix the issue, however a few days later I noticed my entire side of the house had bubbles popping up. Again, Tony and Josh jumped to make this right, and again had Alside come out to see the new issue and got them to replace the entire side of the house. Which I am happy to say seems to have fixed the issue, which was a bad batch of siding. Obviously, this was not an issue that Legend caused but their dedication to making sure their customers are taking care of and happy with the end result of the project is truly amazing. If you want to make sure your job is done right, with a high level of customer service hire Legend Exteriors you will not regret it!

I would highly recommend Legend exteriors to anyone looking to have work done on their home. I called to have a free roof inspection done after storms came through the area. There were some shingles missing and others that appeared to damaged. Josh came out within the time frame as scheduled to do the inspection. He gave me an honest professional opinion that I did not need to have a new roof. I appreciated the honesty unlike other companies just wanting to push everything through insurance. Josh advised he could have a crew member out the same day to put a temporary barrier on the missing shingles to prevent any leaks. A few hours later a crew member arrived and put up the temporary barrier. Fast forward a few weeks Josh called and said they found matching shingles to make the final repair. The repair was done and looks great. Even on an older roof the shingles blend in nicely. Don't let these hacks hack up your home!! Better go on roof and check work I found 16 major issues. Look at this trim going into gutter and drove a screw all the way into BRAND NEW shower remodel!!!!Update glad over 500 views have been seen. Yes I was a real customer in Lake county Il not a fake report. Why would I use my real name ? To have retaliation? It's been over years ago.They don't remember paying me for 3" screw threw my shower?Also all the things they broke?Just telling the public to be careful with this contractor.They just farm labor out to sub contractors not their own workers.Now this was in the past so maybe it's changed?Looks like they got bigger now.But just ask them is the work subbed out ?Are the workers on your home W2 employees? This means they are on the payroll full time year after year and only work for them.

For example, the roof and gutters/downspouts look amazing, as well as the skylights. From start to finish, Josh and his team including Mike and Gio were skilled and professional. They cleaned up at the end of each work day. The landscaping was protected during the work and a magnet was used on the lawn to collect any roofing nails. We were very lucky to meet Steve at Legend Exteriors and have him help guide us through the process of roofing and siding our home. It had been more than 20 years since the house had been painted and was just very out of date. Both the roofing and siding crews were polite, quick working and clean. The work was well done. We see neighbors taking note of how up-to-date our house now looks and it feels really good to have such a cute house again. Steve was also very good in keeping in contact with us when we had questions, etc. Thank goodness there are still reliable contractors out there!
