I used Mark's Tuckpointing to enlarge some bedroom windows (front and rear of the house). Mariusz, our project manager, was very helpful throughout the whole process, and worked to make sure we were satisfied with the work done. The work was done in a timely manner. We chose this company because they could do both the masonry work as well as installing the new windows, for a fair price. Very happy with the result (see the before and after!), would definitely use them again for other masonry work.

Now my ONLY choice for home projects, construction, glass blocks, facia, soffit and the best gutter/downspouts, fully guaranteed for 20 years. Fast, efficient service, using the best materials and employing knowledgeable friendly, and experienced staff. Great rating with the BBB and they stand behind their work. Don't waste your time and money and end up with your home eventually leaking and with non-resolved issues with other companies. Research their past satisfied customers and their reputation. It took a long time for me to find a Masonary group that had the skills, knowledge, and expertise to manage my 125 year old, all brick 2-flat Chicago home. Working with Peter at Mark’s Tuckpointing was excellent. I recently needed my chimney tuckpointed. I heard about Mark’s from my neighbor. I called the office to schedule an appointment for my job to be quoted. Peter called me later that same afternoon. He visited the house and quoted the job the next day. A contract was signed and the work was performed promptly. A little more supplies were needed to complete the job due to a cracked cap recognized once the crew started working, yet no additional $$ was charged. The crew showed up on time and the job was completed and cleaned up. Very Professional experience.

We needed a tuckpointer to take care of a very large crack as well as smaller cracks around our house and garage. Peter was very responsive and provided a detailed, fair quote. His guys were prompt to the job. Overall we are happy with the work. None of it was in front of the house, more of it was on the sides and back of the house. Again not one large job, a bunch of smaller jobs. We've been dealing with a 'potential foundation' issue with our waterproofing company. So when the tuckpointing was done we thought all was good. However, after a couple of weeks, the large crack repaired started having hairline separation. We were not sure if it was the mortar separating or our 'potential foundation' issue. Mark's Tuckpointing came out again and repaired the crack again which we were thankful for that. However, it turns out that we are dealing with a foundation issue because we have the hairline crack again on the same large area which we'll need to work with our waterproofing company to resolve. Everything else done by Mark's tuckpointing is good. Peter was very nice to work with. Once we get our foundation issue resolved we'll call Peter again to make any final tuckpointing fixes we may need.

When asked that I receive a call back so we can discuss…. You do not call, yet continue to trespass on my property without asking permission.In what world is this okay?In the future, a simple phone call or knock on the door might help avoid legal issues for you.
