Stewart roofing not only does roofing but also siding and gutters. Mike gave us a great price on gutters and residing our garage. The work was excellent and they left the jobsite as clean as when they arrived. Would highly recommend them!

I had them replace my roof on a recently-purchased home because the seller/flipper had a very shoddy company do the roof about six months prior and it was already going bad in spots. The job was scheduled and later that month they finished the entire roof in just a single day with a large crew and a couple of large trucks. I paid what I was quoted and would recommend them. They did guarantee the work they did.*After contacting them originally, Cameron came out and was very polite and professional throughout the process. He took time to point out and explain some of the defects like sagging and improper drainage that existed despite the other roofing company having "finished" their job six months prior. He gave me a quote which SRC abided by and I paid what we agreed on through an initial deposit and then a final payment after the job was complete. I am happy with the work done and have noticed no issues with the new roof or the gutter cover system they installed. If I do find evidence of shoddy work like some other reviewers have mentioned, I will update this review. Otherwise, great job Stewart Roofing Co, and very glad to keep the business local to the Blue Island area!Service: Roof installation

Stewart roofing replaced my roof without inspecting the soffits, fascia and gutters. I asked them to look over the entire roof because I’m not a professional roofer. It wasn’t until I noticed some imperfections that Cameron gave me another quote after I already spent $7000 on a complete tear off of a townhome and garage roof. So disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are a professional roofer yourself and know what to look for. I’m not happy with how I was serviced at all.

Poor customer service. Bill is a complete $&@ for lack of a better word unprofessional sells rep. once they get your business. Took forever for him to respond to my complaints about the shoddy work done on the flashing and drip edge. The flashing and drip edge still looks like terrible workmanship was done. I’ve given up. Stewart Roofing doesn’t stand behind it’s workmanship. About one year ago, they did maintenance on my roof due to a leak by my back door.. their personnel Cameron quoted me a price and stated that after they perform necessary maintenance on my roof, it would last about five years. WRONG.. shortly after performing the maintenance the leak occurred again in same area so Cameron returned and did some additional work. That work lasted almost one year before leak returned (Oct 2018) in same area! I called again, this time Bill - suppose to be the owner - came out. He said after going on roof he could not tell where the leak was at.. but he could redo that same area for $750 and guarantee no more leaking. I asked was I going to receive credit for monies already paid for initial job? Bill said no, it’s been a year.. so I mentioned to Bill what about Cameron’s assurance that my roof would last about five years after the initial work?! Bill oh no he can’t guarantee that.. I said oh but he did! Bill doesn’t know where the leak is but he can guarantee the leak would stop. I felt insulted that he thought that made sense. So I’m disappointed that Stewart Roofing doesn’t stand behind their work or assurance their employee (Cameron) gives a customer. In conclusion I have been a customer with Stewart Roffing since about 1978. So whenever I have that part of my roof redone it will NOT be Stewart Roofing.. I certainly won’t recommend them again. I called my homeowners insurance company to inform them NOT to use Stewart Roofing!!

Stewart Roofing replaced my roof maybe three years ago. I requested a wellness check to inspect to make sure my roof was still in excellent condition.I thought some neighborhood vandals had been doing some tampering. I called,on this morning explained my suspicions. Before noon Stewart Roofing was at my door with a ladder to inspect. Thank You for exemplary customer service. I appreciate the service.

Requested repair/ replace shingles. Workmanship is poor, didn't replace shingles didn't repair one side of the house and work is not guaranteed. Not sure what I paid for. $700+ waisted

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER... THEIR MANAGER MIKE, WHO IS ALSO THE OWNERS NEPHEW IS SOO UNPROFESSIONAL, HE'S PITIFUL...WE HAD TWO VERBAL ALTERCATIONS IN FRONT OF MY HOME OVER THEIR SLOPPY SLOPPY SLOPPY WORK! (1), I HAD TO MAKE THEM PUT TARP DOWN ALL AROUND MY HOME DURING THE ROOF TEAR OFF PROCESS, SEEMS THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN TO DO THAT....(2), THEY DESTROYED SEVERAL SCREENS TO MY WINDOWS, WHICH THEY REPLACED.....(3), DURING THE ROOF TEAR OFF PROCESS, THE WORKERS DESTROYED MY NEIGHBORS MOTION DETECTOR LIGHT... THE MANAGER MIKE LIED AND STATED THE WORKERS DIDN'T BREAK IT, MIKE WASNT EVEN ON THE JOB SITE TO WITNESS IT... WHILE IM STANDING RIGHT THERE AND WATCHED IT HAPPEN ALONG WITH THE WORKERS...MIKE STATED THEY WOULD NOT FIX THE LIGHT... I ASKED FOR THE OWNERS NAME... MIKE LIED AND STATED HE WAS THE OWNER! I EVENTUALLY SPOKE WITH THE OWNER WILLIAM AND HE HAD THE LIGHT REPLACED... (4) THEY INSTALLED 4 DOWN SPOUTS AROUND MY HOME...ONE DOWN SPOUT IS NOT WORKING..INSTALLATION FEBRUARY 2016, WATER IS NOT GOING OUT TO THE SEWER BUT ITS BACKING UP AND SPILLING OVER THE GUTTERS... THEY STATED IT'S MY PROBLEM AND I NEED TO HIRE SOMEONE TO FIX IT... THEY ALSO TOLD ME NEVER TO CALL THEM AGAIN FOR THAT ISSUE! (5) SOO MANY HOMEOWNERS HAVE SHARED THEIR HORROR STORY EXPERIENCE BY STEWART ROOFING COMPANY... (6) HOW CAN I TRUST THAT COMPANY?
